Cute spot. We had avocado toast and the special, a spicy pimento cheese breakfast sandwich. Toast was good. I wish the cashier would have asked if I wanted to add an egg. The sandwich was delicious. We will be back. read more

Called ahead to confirm whether reservations were needed. Very polite employee answered. This shouldn't be a big deal, but it's often difficult to get restaurants to answer their phones. Upon arrival, I was greeted and met my friend who already had a table. Very bright and clean atmosphere, music playing in the background. The ladies at the counter are very friendly and polite; made conversation and provided suggestions. The menu is expansive! So many things sound good! And all the food I saw being served looked fantastic! My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon and said it was quite appetizing. I chose the special, corn cakes with fried egg, crème fraiche and shrimp, served with potatoes. My meal was fantastic and I ate from it twice. The corn cakes weren't too heavy...just a nice base for the other amazing ingredients. The egg was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were big and flavorful. The creme fraiche brought it all together. I didn't love my drink, but it got better as I drank more...lol. They offer the numerous mimosa flavors as freezes, too. I also like the local products they sold, various flavors of alcoholic lemonades. I'll definitely be back. I can't wait to try other items! read more

Counter service but they bring your food to you. We were a little surprised at that, but it absolutely works. The food was phenomenal. We had their breakfast burrito and it was amazing. The eggs benedict were not poached, but very sunny side up. The staff said they couldn't serve a poached egg and get the food out quickly enough. OK, I guess. It was all delicious though. Would come back. read more

I had given up on brunch restaurants because most places these days put more energy in creating a "vibe" and fun atmosphere than they do making quality food. This is the antithesis of that experience. The food here is so freaking good. You can tell the people behind the menu actually know how to cook food. The options are great, the food is delicious, the staff is super friendly. I've gone three times in the last two weeks. And I really wish I could post a picture of the food but I eat it too fast! I strongly recommend the breakfast nachos and bananas foster French toast. read more

Yummy and fresh healthy food. Good place to have brunch close by. Serving Gilbert it's worth stopping by.

What a hidden gem! Be ready for any French toast you can imagine and be ready to eat! The campfire brew was amazing! Especially when I often have lattes and this hit the mark! Perfectly and slightly sweet and delish! The food portion sizes are more than enough. The staff was so nice to help decide what to order and describe dishes for me. I'll be back, oh and the lemonade made my nephew happy! read more

My husband and I were staying in town for the extra innings music festival. I am a sucker for good reviews and a good pun, so as soon as I found this spot on Yelp we knew we had to check it out. This place is FIRE. We were both undecided on what to order so our server helped us choose and I went with the YoLote Burrito and my husband ordered the Tomatillo Pork Eggs Benedict. We were drinking delicious fresh coffee as our meal came out only minutes after we ordered. Presentation was simple and very appealing. My husband has declared this the BEST breakfast he has ever had...and we eat A LOT of breakfasts! Do not miss out on this meal, we will definitely be back! read more

Such a cute location! My husband, a few friends, and I came here a couple weeks ago for breakfast. I definitely thought this was a sit down place, it's not. Entirely. You order before you sit down, but can only sit if there are tables available. The location is pretty small, but the staff are incredibly friendly. The food was great as well! I had a prickly pear mimosa while here, but the flavor wasn't there. I also was surprised to see orange juice with pulp, I wasn't a fan. The churro stacked French toast was my fave (although I wouldn't call it churro with peanut butter on it), would highly recommend if you can get it! read more

As a first time customer, I had their Breakfast Burger (think of a big Double Double with an egg and bacon on top). It came with waffle fries that were thick and tasty. Taylor was the service crew- and she was friendly and efficient. TAB is not cafe like, but more akin to a fast food eatery, but with better food. Will be back. read more

Last week was our first experience that we loved our burgers, we went back a few days later to share the classic breakfast burrito with bacon. We had the I had the breakfast smash burger minus the fried egg and my boyfriend enjoyed his Red onion jam & feta burger. Side salad was fresh and delicious and a tasty ranch dressing. We were not fans of the Monte Cristo. Bland. Meat and cheese was good quality. The french toast thre it for us. We added powder sugar to add some flavor. The Raspberry jam is so bright and fresh. Very good. The classic breakfast burrito with bacon was over 1 pound. 2 of us shared. It was tasty. A little dry. I whipped up some pico and had salsa at the house. We will be back. Service was extremely friendly. Glad we found this place. read more

A friend and I try to go out once a week to a different place for lunch or breakfast. I had to fast for a blood draw this morning, so we wanted to go to a place after that had lots of gooey sugary kinds of things to get the blood sugar back up. We decided to go to "Thanks a Brunch" on McQueen in Gilbert. I ordered the Churro Stacked French Toast - Stacked French Toast stuffed with Nutella, peanut butter and dusted with a churro mix, topped with our sweet cream drizzle & fruit. It was stacked alright all gooey sugary and delicious. It was more than I could eat so I brought some home, just show you the double stacked french toast layers. The bottom layer has the peanut butter on it and then next layer up has the Nutella on it. My friend and I we'll have to go back and try some of the other things on the menu. read more

This place was terrible. The potatoes were overcooked and inedible, and the rest of the food was completely flavorless. Nothing had any care or quality put into it. Total waste of time and money -- I wouldn't come back here if it was free. I don't think Boise Idaho would be proud of anything about this place including the potatoes. read more

Incredible French Toasts! Fast casual breakfast that will have you coming back for more! The French toast game here is on another level. Like fried ice cream French toast. Cheesecake French toasts. My daughter and I went to Thanks a Brunch for the first time. We were so pleasantly surprised with all the unique offerings for breakfast. We each had a cold brew coffee, which was delicious. we had to try the cookie butter French toast, wow, very delightful. For just five dollars more I was able to add two eggs, potatoes, and sausage patties to the order of the French toast. I found that to be a great bargain. My daughter ordered one of the eggs Benedicts that looks spectacular and she loved it. I cannot recall the name of it however, but something tells me you won't go wrong with anything you order at Thanks a Brunch. read more

Second time here! The service is awesome the food is delicious and my favorite are the potatoes. All the food is well seasoned but them potatoes are EVERYTHING! Today I got vegan French Toast sandwich. Impossible sausage, just egg and vegan French toast... with potatoes and OJ. I think all brunch items might come with potatoes. I have ordered off the lunch menu yet. Learned that these folks are from Idaho they had a food truck there they got tired of the cold and packed up and came here! We saw this spot on Yelp, never heard of it before, and decided to give it a shot. So glad we did!! We had to order (and split) a little of everything because it all just sounded so good. Once it came out, we weren't disappointed at all. The food was seriously some of the best I've had in a while. Atmosphere was great and felt really open and bright, the service was amazing and we got to chat with the owner for a bit and learn more about their back story. I discovered this place the other day on Uber Eats. I was thinking about taking my family there this weekend. The one thing I don't like is that Hayden S, the business manager replies only to positive reviews and not the negative ones. This place.... Bomb. My partner took me here for my birthday and everything just sounds sooooo good. It was so good that I didn't even snap a pic to show it off. I got the YOlote burrito, that's a must to try for sure. It's just the burrito and it's super filling. My partner got the cookie butter tiramisu French toast platter. It was alll delicious. New breakfast spot in Gilbert and it did not disappoint! Not only is the ambiance and decor so cute and unique, but the owners are sweet and the food is even better. They have tons of vegan options too. The dishes aren't your typical breakfast items. We ordered the elote breakfast burrito and the cookie butter French toast and it was SO DELICIOUS. The burrito was super filling and generous. Their bacon inside was flavorful. The French toast was perfectly crispy on the edges, it was fantastic. My son had a side of potatoes, bacon, and eggs and he enjoyed it. I'm already looking forward to our next time dropping in. read more

This is a real review. Came here mid week. Mid day. About 15 people inside. 80 degrees. Ac is not on. Already suspect. Ordered a breakfast burrito. Bacon soggy. This cheese sauce thing they use reminds you of high school cafeteria. If the bacon was crispy and they used real cheese the burrito would be somewhat decent. But this place is a typical churn and burn make money printer. The food is no way close to 5. One and done for me. read more

The food was great! I got the Yolote Burrito which was very delicious and well balanced. My husband got the pesto egg sandwich and he RAVED about the onion jam on that sandwich. My daughter happens to have been born on Valentines Day so finding a place to celebrate comes with challenges. This year we decided to try something different and go somewhere new to everyone. My daughter found Thanks A Brunch on line and decided that was where she wanted to go. We are a party of 9 so usually I try to make a reservation or get on a wait list. When I went to Thanks A Brunch website it has a book your table tab. I push this tab and it told me that they were not taking bookings at this time. So I thought we'll just have to get on the wait list when we arrive. Imagine my surprise when we arrive to find out it is a cafeteria style restaurant. Being Valentines Day it is pretty busy and loud so I look around at the tables and see that their biggest table only seats 4 so we find a 4 top next to 2,2tops thinking when those people leave we'll push those together so we can eat together. Just to be transparent about half of our party is at the establishment. Myself and my 84 year old mother sit down at the 4 top. We are discussing the 2,2 tops when an employee approaches and tells us that there is no "seat saving here" I respond with "we are a party of 9 and we want to sit together " the employee then replies with "there is no seat saving here, everyone must be in line" I look at the employee and say my mother is 84 and you want her to stand in line. The answer was yes. I then stated then we'll go somewhere else. The employee starts to tell me how their location in Mesa. I interrupted them at this point and tell them we are not going there and in fact will never patronize here. I would never order food until I knew I had a place to sit. I find it reprehensible that they expected an 84 year old to not sit at a table before ordering and that a party of 9 was expected to grab whatever table was left around the restaurant and not sit together. Yes I do think for a party of that size and with the elderly exceptions should be made. In fact I actually don't understand the whole no seat saving rule here. read more
