This place hits every time! Been here twice already and the food is always so good. They give you big portions and a good size of drinks. The place is small with limited seating space but if lucky enough you can stay cool and sit inside. Service is always nice and they try their best to assist everyone and get your order taken, you seated, and served. It's close by our church so when in need of some good food after a great service, we'll definitely be stopping by.

Cute spot tucked away in a small plaza at Gilbert and Guadalupe. A friend picked this place and I was pleasantly surprised! You order at the counter before taking a table. They do not take reservations. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. Turnover is quick since it's self-serve aside from food delivered to your table. The food was very tasty and portions were generous. They serve alcohol, and there was always a steady line of people ordering for dine-in or takeout, which says a lot. Parking is also decent. Overall, a great find!

Tried Thanks a Brunch twice now and I'm kinda torn. The first time was takeout brunch and overall it was decent. The bacon and tomatillo pork were good, and the burrito was fine, though I wasn't a big fan of the avocado in it. The classic waffle wasn't anything special but it was okay enough. About a month later I came back on a Sunday to dine in with my mom and my toddler. That part was honestly great. We were able to order right away and got a table immediately, which is huge when you have a kid. Service was pretty good and very accommodating. The food though was pretty so-so. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was huge but only had one egg inside, which felt kinda ridiculous. I cut it in half, ate one side, and it could barely stay together. The egg was also a little undercooked for my liking. The sausage itself was tasty and the sourdough was decent. We tried the classic waffle again and it was not good. The batter is super sweet and tastes kind of artificial. We also ordered a side of waffles fries (they were served to us with a fork?) and bacon and both were pretty sad looking. The bacon was undercooked and just not great. One bright spot was the cold brew, which was actually really good. Overall, I love the convenience, quick seating, and kid friendly vibe, but the food has been inconsistent. I'd come back for coffee or something simple, but I wouldn't go out of my way for the food right now.

A really solid spot. It's small, and in a strip mall, so keep a close eye out or you might miss it. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and bring you your food. The portions were pretty big. I think many could consider sharing. My friend got the pineapple chicken and waffles and ate it all. I got the breakfast loaded tots. It was good but honestly, and it's weird for me to say, had too much sausage. The flavor was still on point, the staff were friendly and attentive, and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area.

Quiet little brunch cafe in Gilbert. Been meaning to try for so long and finally went. It's a "order at the counter and find yourself a table" kind of place which I like. We were greeted immediately and offered menus. I opted for the special which was the southern fried chicken Benedict. Fried chicken breast on an English muffin covered in hollandaise sauce, bacon, hot honey, over medium eggs and pickled red onion. Served with a side of country potatoes. Very tasty and a large portion, I always love the sweet, salty, spicy dynamic in my food. Everything was cooked perfectly. I also ordered the bananas foster cold brew which was also very tasty. Wifey ordered the Bennie Burrito which has bacon, tots, pickled onions and Chipotle aioli in the burrito, then it is topped with a crispy cheese skirt, over-medium eggs, Green Chili hollandaise, pico de gallo. Her order actually came out first and she offered me a bite and I immediately wondered if I made the wrong choice with my order. Overall the food was really good, I like the order and pay up front places so when you're done you're all paid up and can leave without waiting for the check. We will definitely return soon to try some of the other tasty sounding items on the menu. Highly Recommended!

I was looking for a brunch place the day after Thanksgiving that was open in the afternoon and the options in my area were slim until I found Thanks A Brunch. What a gem! Casual, counter serve brunch spot with ample seating and nice decor. I loved the books hanging on the wall for a cool look. The menu had some tasty looking savory options but I was feeling something sweet and couldn't pass on the churro french toast. The server said it was a top choice so I went for it. Wow - the portions! It was a stack of 3 with layered spread of peanut butter and Nutella. Definitely hit the spot. Somehow I ate the whole thing, to which the server remarked they'd never seen anyone finish it before. Too bad that doesn't get me a name on the wall or something, but I'll be back for sure to sample some other items.

I wasn't a very big fan of the ordering style here, it felt a little impersonal (to me). I ordered the Pumpkin Brûlée French Toast which was an absolute 10/10. I got that as a platter and that wasn't the best bacon, egg & potato I've ever had but it did the job. I also ordered a chai espresso martini which ultimately I did not end up finishing because it was very dark, did not taste like chai and just overall wasn't doing it for me. However, they do get 4 stars because they were very kind to my puppy and even brought him a dish for fruit and a little cup of whipped cream later on.

I had heard of Thanks a Brunch before and was excited to finally check them out. I am always down for a good brunch spot. Especially during the Spring season. Thanks a Brunch has a menu that offers breakfast burritos and tacos, Benedicts, French toast, avocado toast and hangover bowls. They also have a lunch menu if don't want breakfast. Many of the brunch spots in the Phoenix area are more upscale and fancy. What I liked about Thanks a Brunch is that the atmosphere is a little more casual. It makes for a much more relaxing environment. These guys serve quality food that is loaded with colorful ingredients. They have a number of creative entrées on the menu to order from. I ended up getting the Tomatillo Pork Eggs Benedict and their Campfire Cold Brew with Foam. I was drawn to the Elote Avocado Toast and ordered one of those too. I ended up taking most of my food home, but everything was great.

I love when successful food trucks create such a following that going bricks and mortar makes sense. This is the story about Thanks A Brunch in Gilbert Arizona that did just that. Today was my first visit, and I went on the recommendation of my yelping daughter and her fiancé. We went about noon time today (Sunday), and it was pretty packed. The flow of the restaurant is that you get in line and work your way up to the cash register where you order and get a number and then look for a place to sit. When we got up to the cash register all the tables were full, so we ordered to go. Fortunately, right after we paid a table opened up. This is not my favorite type of concept as I would much rather be seated at a table and get a table service. The menu is full of the namesake dishes from classic brunch. There's a large selection of breakfast, burritos, breakfast tacos, French toast, waffles, and egg and meat sandwiches. There's also a limited selection of alcoholic drink drinks, including a couple of mimosas, and coffee. All the food was really good, but I think all three of us were in all of the French toast. It's a carb bomb deluxe. The inside is pretty simple with a number of four top tables and a couple of two seat high tops. There's also three or four tables outside under some shade umbrellas. All in all it's a pleasant experience, and the food is good, but at my age I don't like standing in line to order my food. That by itself is the reason I can only go with four stars.

This is my second visit to Thanks a Brunch. I went on a Sunday for lunch and it was packed! The line was almost out the door the whole time I was there. You order first and then wait for a table. They do a good job enforcing that and have multiple signs. That's a good thing because after I saw how crowded it was I didn't want to take up a table for just me. So I ordered to go. It took 30 minutes to get my food. The restaurant is pretty small but they have 3 tables outside too. I got the blackberry pistachio French toast. It's probably much better looking when you get it in the restaurant. I also got a classic burrito but I'm saving it for another meal. The French toast is kind of dry. The blackberry sauce is good and it has a cream cheese filling that was also tasty but the filling was only an about half the French toast stack. I'll update my review after I eat the burrito. If you don't mind the wait, everything else I saw coming out to the tables looked delicious.

Found this place through inKind. This is one of the best restaurant for vegetarian. Lots of veggie options. Went for brunch and tried their impossible sausage sandwich, vegan pesto sandwich and cookie butter tiramisu French toast. Everything was good except their potato fries. Felt they were bland. But their tiramisu French toast is a must try. Perfect sweetness and brioche bun texture. Simple ambiance and quick service

1st timer probably be back to try something else. Food is different (good) than most places! I had the Loaded Street Fries I added 2 eggs it was delicious! Fries with carne asada cheese fondue jalapeño tomato and avocado with cilantro. Service is good you have to order before you sit down. Self serve drinks and coffee. Coffee is good. It's a cute and colorful place looks to seat about 40 people. This is what I had!

I cannot say enough about this lovely brunch spot. The menu is so amazing and made for a lot of different diets out there. A girlfriend discovered Thanks a Brunch when we were looking for somewhere to meet in-between our two houses. Service and food is incredible. They even have a separate vegan menu and Vegans, the menu is to die for! They also have all the brunch drinks and mimosa flites! FYI. The flites are huge! We made the mistake of getting 2 flites, one for each of us and it was way too much! Get 1 flite and split it! LOL! Menu, recipes, service GOOD! Eat local! Go to Thanks A Brunch. Your stomach will be happy you did!

Omg! At first we were a little bummed to see that the yummy taco place wasn't here anymore, but once we looked at reviews, we decided to give this charming little brunch spot a try. We are SO glad we did! We had to order way too much food so we could try a bunch of things. We had a SoyFrita bfast taco (5 stars), green chili bfast taco (5 stars), sausage bfast taco (5 stars), elote bfast burrito (5 stars) and the bfast potatoes are amazing! Can't wait to come back and try so many other items on this incredible menu!! My kiddos are going to drool over the many incredible French toast options, including the fried ice cream French toast!! Just tried this place for the first time and it is very good! Tried the smash burger with egg and regular fries, the burger is cooked really well and very flavorful. The seasoning on the fries is very good too. I also tried the cold brew with cream and it wasn't too sweet or too bitter. You get a large amount of food for the price, definitely worth it! The customer service was very friendly and helpful. Inside the restaurant there's some seating areas with cute decorations on the wall. My oldest son and I were looking for a breakfast/brunch place this morning and Thanks a Brunch popped up so we thought we'd give it a shot. So glad we did! I ordered the off menu (but maybe soon to be a permanent fixture on the menu?) pesto sandwich and I'm still salivating over it hours later. My son ordered the Smash Breakfast Burger and he was very happy with his choice. We also shared the pecan pie French toast and it might just be my favorite French toast I've ever had. We decided to try this place for a bit of a more casual sit down brunch restaurant. We shared the Loaded Street Fries and the American Style Burrito and both were very good. They definitely take it a step above the traditional. The staff was very nice and filled us in that it used to be a food truck which made sense with the more modern take on the food. Our only very small complaint was the sour cream not being spread out in the burrito, but that definitely was not worth losing a star. We will be back here for sure! read more

The husband and I were driving around one night after getting ice cream when I saw the new sign out front of this building. I was stoked to learn it was a brunch place! We brought Grandma here after Church last Sunday and fell in love! It's an adorable little spot with absolutely delicious food. They offer vegan options too if that's your jam. Service was super fast and friendly, but even if not... the food. It's completely scrumptious. We've already been back a second time! The French toast is decadent and the sausage bowl to die for. Hello AZ...This place has only been open a short time but if you haven't already been here, you're missing out. The burrito was delicious and had great flavor. One of my favorite parts was that the potatoes seemed to be seasoned with some yummy goodness. We decided to split the churro french toast and that is one of my life's best decisions! French toast oozing with nutella, peanut butter and topped with whipped cream, strawberries, and bananas. It didn't even need the syrup it was served with! Good morning taste buds! The owner seems like a solid guy and gave us a bit of their story. Give this place a shot! It will not disappoint! read more

Great food, but I didn't like having to wait in line to order. So, I had a breakfast burger which was really tasty and a good size. I think the only negative about the food was the bread. It could have been heartier for the quantity of meat, egg, and condiments in the sandwich. I also tried the green chile pork benedict the next day and it tasted like a perfect bite every time. I'd probably go back but, again, I wish it was more of a sit-down and ordering-from-a-server spot. read more

Ate there after my nephews baseball game. The service was great and the place is very clean and cute. So many gluten free options! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! First off the music and ambience is GREAT! I knew I had to leave a 5 star review when I heard The Menzingers! Fantastic music taste. In terms of food, it's SO GOOD. Great little place! They put a table outside for me because I had my puppy with me (so I didn't have to get my food to go). They gave me water for her and a treat Now the food... it was delicious I had the pecan French toast. It was stuffed with some type of cream cheese magic and a pecan sauce. It was Sooo good! The bacon was crispy (the way I like it) and the eggs and potatoes were just right. I really like this place. I highly recommend it. Keep up the good work folks. Your food is outstanding and your service is phenomenal. Y'all were kind and went the extra mile for me and my puppy. read more

total skip! the vegan option sucked :( i may be biased because i was visiting from SoCal which has the best vegan mexican food on earth (besides mexico) but the soyrizo burrito was terrible! i thought it would be paired with guacamole, but they just added slices of avocado? lol nothing was salted nor seasoned. it was the only option we had early in the morning yet i would go to taco bell instead for a reliable vegan breakfast with a little salt, at the very least! overall, would not recommend! read more

Wow! This place is fantastic...drinks (wonderful Mimosas), food and service. The avocado toast is amazing! I was visiting a friend for the weeknd and we made sure to go back before I left. I really wanted to love this place! The menu is unique, the name is cute, but the food just lacked! When I bit into my burger, grease squished out into my mouth and everywhere else. I love a good burger, but this one was so greasy, I couldn't finish it. My brother and Dad didn't love their food either. The meat was a bit flavorless and the dishes just didn't come with what was promised. We all left feeling like we spent a bit too much and not fully satisfied. My wife and I really enjoyed the brunch here. Easy counter service, clean place, decent prices, great food. I had breakfast burrito with soyrizo ($12) and she had the green chili breakfast tacos (side of potatoes), along with a French press ($8) and frozen mimosa ($6). French press coffee was solid. Frozen mimosa was pretty tart, and I'm not sure how much alcohol was really in there, but my wife enjoyed it. We had leftovers. We'll be back. read more

You have bar top, high table, and regular table style seating for indoors. There's plenty of 4 person tables outdoors under shade and also with misters on if it's hot out. The restaurant was packed, so I expected a long wait, but the ordering process at the counter was quick, and we were seated in no time. We tried the chicken and waffles, a breakfast sandwich, and a breakfast burrito with soyrizo--everything was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Nutella and Teddy Graham cold brews, along with a regular coffee. Their cute little coffee bar with various syrups and creamers was a nice touch, and the coffee was fantastic. One of the best surprises was their entire plant-based menu--perfect for our vegan friends! I loved having so many great options to choose from. The service was just as great as the food. The staff was friendly, checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. They even came around to clean up and offer boxes. Stopped in for a team lunch for work and it was delicious! Perfect spot to chat and get work done all while enjoying some yummy brunch. They had guest wifi and a lot of indoor seating to beat the heat outside. It is a quick service restaurant so ordering at the counter was super easy and the cashier was very friendly and helpful when it came to his recommendations! I went the lunch route and ordered the spicy honey chicken wrap. I love anything with hot honey so this was right up my alley. The chicken was super crispy and just the right amount of spice. We have had the best time trying this locally owned place out! We love the burritos and we can't wait to try more. They have a great crew of fun nice people that always remember you face.
