First time trying CB&C! Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious, the audio was very loud even for a sports bar. Sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and the burgers were decent. Slightly overpriced in my opinion for the ambience. read more

SEAT YOURSELF' at 5P on a Wednesday with football going on. What the heck? So we did. We sat for 5 minutes and there was NO ONE in the entire lobby area. Was anyone there or were they checked out? And so we left. Too far of a drive for that. We weren't the only ones walking out but we won't be the going back. Good luck with that type of service keeping customers who drive to come to your restaurant. read more

The burger was decent, but the customer service was absolutely abyssal. I was told to wait for my order, yet no one ever followed up or asked which order I was waiting for, even as customers were starting to queue up and confusion grew. It turns out my order had been ready the entire time. When I asked how customers were supposed to know, I was dismissively told I could check the shelf myself. The lack of organization, communication, and basic professionalism made this a frustrating and deeply disappointing experience. read more

Here's the thing... the food is great, most of the time. The service is great, some of the time... The management... well... um... I don't know who else to blame then management?! My photos and video are from a Friday night approx 645pm... the restaurant was less than 1/2 full. We were quoted 45min wait... I said there's empty tables everywhere... the hostess said, "well, it's really hard on the servers to get too many tables at once"... then your servers need to be trained better. Your kitchen needs to be trained better. Your hostesses need to be trained better. Give me a break. This place should have been PACKED TO THE BRIM AND STILL HAD A WAIT ON A FRIDAY NIGHT.... But people were leaving when told 45 min wait. There's no excuse for this... Only incompetence. And it's losing the company money. Sad. Because it's a great place. We'll just stick to coming for lunch. Although I see the lunch menu took a big price jump too. :( maybe you could make up the difference if you were full on Friday nights?! Just sayin. read more

We've been to this restaurant and bar about 4 times since it opened. We enjoy sitting at the bar and have also dined at the tables. The timing of our visits has been different each time, but we have always had "Beau" as our bartender and server. He's great with his guests and exceptional at service. He's very knowledgeable of his craft and very informative on the products he serves. He's solid! Had the California Reuben, Prime Rib Dip, and a couple of cold ones this time around. Everything was on point. Highly recommend! read more

Great place for a cold beer. Lots of choices of beer. Also serves mixed drinks. Nice array of foods, which I label "beer" food. The only thing that bothers me is the bartenders are not very friendly. Oh, they have "regulars" at the end of the bar that they are very friendly with. Overall, OK place. read more

This place is wack! Now don't get me wrong the beer was nice and cold. And that explains why everyone that was there hardly had food. No one really had food. However the bartender and the other employees were all chilling at a table and when they felt like it they got up to check on the everyone. My burger was dry. I could have easily went to a drive thru and been more satisfied. Do better. read more

The is place is big with lots of seating. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer and didn't see the server again for 30 minutes. She took our order and refilled 1 drink of 7. An hour later, our food comes out.My sister ordered a burger with no cheese on a gluten free bun. It came with cheese. She let them know. They sent out a new one on focochia bun. Again, not what she ordered. My daughter ordered a salad but had no silverware. She asked for a set and never got it. We went to get silverware from the bar so she could eat after the server came back again without it. Drinks were never refilled. Wouldn't go back due to service. The good was okay. Nothing spectacular. read more

I wanted to write this review because this location has been my familys go to every sunday. Our waitress, Hailey, is the absolute best. We keep coming back on sundays because Hailey always takes such good care of us. She sees us coming and immediately brings out our drinks because we never change out order and she has memorized it at this point. Never have I been to a place where you can actually make friends with your waitress. We love going to Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers or Cheeseburgers as mt daughter calls it. Thank you Hailey for the amazing service every sunday! Best customer service ever. read more

Had a last minute errand and wanted to watch the game. Stopped by this place for lunch and beer. Pretty decent. It was fairly empty for a Sunday. But lucky for us; we could her things quickly. The beers are decent collection. I tried the CB&CB burger and the toasty amber beer, pretty good! The steak burger which my husband tried was meaty and good for a change. The sweet potato fries are amazing!! Tots were ok, But again I am not a tater tot person.. Give it a visit If in mood for a beer and game. read more

If you want a good burger, you can't beat this place.. now if you're going for a good burger and service, definitely not the place. To the point where I just get my burgers to go and keep it pushing. The manager of this location has the absolute worst attitude I've ever experienced in a restaurant. The way he treated the two DoorDash drivers waiting for their orders to come out was unacceptable. Once their orders did come out he made a snide comment about the one who'd be waiting longer and that really pissed me off. My husband and I quickly finished and left. We'll be making sure none of our friends ever visit this location. read more

Have eaten here multiple times but not in quite a while. Decided to try the O-Lineman today and can say was not disappointed but want to offer some pro tips! 1. Really enjoy coming here for a drink and to catch the game. This location is not very big inside, but they have a large outdoor patio with seating and TVs too. We got there early but there was a line waiting by the time we were done. They have a really big menu for both drinks and food. Great menu for draft beers with a huge selection - definitely one of the better places around in that regard. Food is solid here! Apps are great sizes and definitely enough to share. Most recently tried the Buffalo Chicken Tots and the Cheeseburger Fries. Both are delicious! On GameDay, each TV is designated for a certain team/game which is very helpful. Good atmosphere too! The service is always consistent and very helpful. read more

Open pit burger ordered medium with side of sweet tots to go. Once getting to my destination I realized it was obviously seared rare, there was one onion ring, the fries were spare and dry. Best part of the burger as I took one bite after my client complained.... The best part was the pepper jack cheese which was doubled and the bacon which was tripled but not cooked separately. I cook at my own home, but when clients ask me for stuff I pick it up, I've gone here personally for a few years and it's sad to see them water down their whole menu including liquor. My Bartender, Eric was less than helpful or friendly and sadly I left a 10 tip on a 36.11 tab cause I felt bad. 2/10 strictly for somewhere public to go. For 18.50 this burger could be yours I really appreciate the up-charge for sweet tots and giving me less sweet fries, epic. read more

If you are looking for a place to enjoy a delicious meal and watch your favorite game, look no further than CB&C. This place has everything you need to have a great time: plenty of televisions (you will be hard pressed to not have a few televisions in sight wherever you sit), fantastic burgers, expanded beer selection, and full bar offerings. You can also bring your furry friend along and enjoy the dog-friendly wrap-around patio. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, and you can choose from a variety of toppings and sauces. The PB&J is amazing! The fries are crispy and seasoned well, and the onion rings are huge and crunchy. The beer selection is impressive, with local and imported brews on tap and in bottles. The cocktails are also well-made and refreshing. Even the shakes are art-in-a-glass and so yummy! The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The hosts will make you feel welcome and comfortable, and they will help you with any questions or requests. Most servers are quick and efficient, and some bartenders are skilled and creative. They will also keep you updated on the scores and highlights of the games. However, training seems to be mixed as your experience can vary depending on the server assigned to your station. It truly is a toss up. CB&C is an ideal place to watch all major sporting events, whether it's football, basketball, baseball, soccer, or hockey. You will have a blast cheering for your team with other fans, or just enjoying the atmosphere and the food. The one thing I don't like is being nickeled and dimed. All burgers come with chips - sometimes good, mostly overcooked and burnt. So annoying to have an extra charge for fries. Burgers go with fries! Period! You know that, everybody knows that. Just raise the price of the burger if you must. Finally, the bathrooms just went through a much-needed remodeling. Unfortunately, somebody missed the memo. Floor drains should be below floor level, not raised. Add a manual urinal (instead of an automatic flush), throw in some drunks that can't aim or bother to flush, and you end up with a restroom that smells worse than a NY city subway entrance. Hence a high 3.75 stars rounded up! read more

I don't think it will have occurred to us visiting Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers (CB&C) any time in the near future, as any of my review readers can attest, I am not one for Sports Bars, (yet willing to try them) especially unvarying and unexceptional chain sports bars. Particularly when they have at least eleven such local outposts in the Metro Valley Area. I have to say that SquareOne Concepts has come up with THE pervasive style of bar scene with total lack of exceptionality, yet they seem to get good sized crowds, and I have to say great French fries! If not for recently gifted gift card to CB&C, we may never have come. First, the place is very sterile, lacking in personality, and barren of any character whatsoever. Second, service seems moderate, but uncaring. No hello upon entering, no goodbye let alone thank you when leaving. Our server was good within the confines of what she has to work with - bless her. In our first and recent visit to this location we did not have much of a choice 'cause everything is basically saloon or stadium eats, nothing but bar food. With things with names like BaconLT, Phoenix Philly, Nashville Chicken or Cincinnati Dog! We thought we'd give it a chance with some basics like fried pickles, a hot dog and a Reuben with some drinks. The Fried Pickles were so over battered and salty you could barely distinguish the pickle, with dreadfully tasting chipotle dipping sauce, needless to say we sent it back... a Hot Dog (the Cincinnati) an extremely charred jumbo split dog along with almost no discernable hint of beef chili, yet plenty of onions with some shredded cheddar, which was served with not very good sweet potato fries. And then there's my Reuben (the California Reuben) with charred edged spam-like tasting pastrami, nicely melted Swiss cheese, a wet and sloppy coleslaw that inundated my sammich, along with some Wishbone 1000 island dressing - but I must say, the sourdough bread was pretty darn good. I must add that the Arnold Palmer my wife ordered was watered down to tasteless! My Pacifico beer pint was iced cold and great! In closing, I don't think we're fans. CB&C didn't seem to go out of their way to create our customer satisfaction, so I don't think we as customers can go out of our way to patron. Sorry. read more

The service is absolutely awful. We have been here multiple times the last few months no hostess. It takes forever to have a waitress come over. They never seem happy. One time we tried sitting at the bar - same thing - took forever to order, he wasn't thrilled to be there. He even took his lunch break. I get it he needs to eat but we had to flag someone down to get silverware. The ambiance - It's drab and unwelcoming. read more

We had a table with 8 people. The place was very busy which is nice for the business. However, we all received tater tots, fries and sweet potato fries that were lukewarm at best. None of us wanted to be complainers and ruin the fun night out. It was discussed the next day amongst the group though. Our server was very nice. I'd recommend one cook solely in charge of ensuring fresh, hot potatoes for each plate going out. For me the fries are a big part of the meal. read more

Went in there with a friend for a drink one afternoon and sign said to seat ourselves as no one was anywhere around when we went in! We sat in a booth in the front corner of restaurant. Took them 10 minutes for them to come and greet us! We both ordered an alcohol drink. I ordered a Prickly Pear margarita and noticed the price was $16.75 and thought that was very high priced but that's what I wanted! About 10 minutes later we got our drinks and mine came in a small tumbler glass with ice heaping over the top of the glass above the drink liquid! I looked and thought this drink was that much??? It took 2 gulps and it was gone! I tried to get someone to come over to discuss the size vs price and no one was around! We continued to visit and about 30 minutes later our waitress came and I mentioned the issue and she went to her manager and came back and told me because I drank it they won't do anything about it! I said; "What, the 2 sips I got for $16.75?" She said that her manager won't refund or reduce the price. They were rude and I will NEVER GO BACK THERE! read more

Very good food at this location! Cold beer and great burgers. We went to watch the Suns game and maybe that was a mistake because we waited for 35 minutes for a table for 4. The service was good until it was time for payment. We had a $100 gift card and put cash down for the remaining amount. The waitress took this payment and charged the cash before using the gift cards. She made the corrections after we brought it back to her, but ended up being there for another 20 minutes waiting for it to be corrected. CBCB has great ambiance for a sports game and is a fun date! read more

Usually a solid choice to go here and get something good and quick. Today I was pretty disappointed with my food. I ordered the Cincinnati Chili Dog like I always do. But today it was extremely salty and the hot dog was overcooked. Server wasn't very helpful because she wasn't the easy person to find. There was a lot of ppl so I just chalked it up to her having a lot of tables. So by the time I did catch up with her I was ready to go and didn't want to wait for a replacement or ordering something different so I just paid the check and left. Hopefully this is a one time situation because I love going here. Sweet potato tots was delicious thou. read more

Food is good - standard American staples. This is my third time at this location and it will be my last. The service at the bar, well...it just stinks. Visited on a Saturday afternoon, college games on but bar and restaurant only 1/4 full. Ordered cocktail and asked for a food menu. Fifteen minutes later, I asked one of the two bartenders on shift (bar back also on shift) if I could place a food order. Sure. There's basic math: the more a customer orders, the higher the tip. And, there's just basic customer service. Both were lacking. Blue 32 for me. read more
