We took a risk to try this place and the breakfast was amazing! Definitely a step above the rest of these breakfast joints around! Im foodie so really appreciate the quality and presentation. Everyone was very nice and inviting we were greeted with smiles and a good explanation of menu! Please try it! We need good places like this! I'll be back :) The tomatillo Benedict was incredible! read more

Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the burrito, but if you haven't tried the carne asada breakfast burrito at ThanksABrunch, you're missing out on the culinary equivalent of a morning hug from a mariachi band. Imagine tender, juicy carne asada nestled among fluffy scrambled eggs, zesty pico de gallo, and a whisper of cheese and guacamole, all wrapped in a warm tortilla blanket. It's like a fiesta in your mouth, and the best part? It's socially acceptable to eat this miracle of breakfast engineering before noon. Trust me, your taste buds will be doing the Macarena all day long! Thank you ThanksABrunch!!! read more

We really enjoyed our brunch here. It was packed so thankfully we were able to get a table outside. The food was excellent. I loved the jam & feta burger! I would order it every time I go and I WILL definitely be back! Our entire group had great looking food and the mimosa flights were fantastic! read more

The food was mid at best. I ordered biscuits and gravy but it was all meat, I asked for more gravy and they made me pay for it. I don't love the pay and then sit model but was the least of their problems. The French toast was a far cry from good, my grandson left his entire plate. My daughter expressed that the only thing that was fresh on her loaded fries was the tomato's. The TikTok hype did me dirty. I had heard that this place was not the spot and took a chance. Yall got to do better. There is a dive restaurant less than a mile away with incredible food. read more

This place has amazing food! The menu is larger than I expected! it includes sweet and savory items. I highly recommend trying as many things as you can. I love that they offer specialty coffees and mimosas too. You order at the counter and sit wherever you want. It isn't a large place but offers enough places to sit. I wouldn't say they are large party friendly though, so keep that in mind. Service is pleasant but on this day in particular, they were struggling. There is one girl at the counter taking orders and running food/drinks to the table. Which may work on other days but for busier days, like the day we went, it is definitely too much for one person. The counter has a clear shot of the kitchen which looked very big. Food comes out in a timely manner as well. We will be back but i hope they can get more help for the front of house soon. read more

Food was good, but what I ordered wasn't what I expected. I ordered the cookie butter Tiramisu french toast. I love tiramisu, but I didn't get any of that in the actual dish. It was all cookie butter. It seemed like regular French toast with a bunch of cookie butter and whipped cream on top with cocoa powder. I thought the cream on top was whipped marscapone, nope just regular whipped cream. There was also no coffee flavor. I thought maybe they would dip the bread in some coffee or espresso to give it that distinct coffee flavor you would expect from tiramisu. It would have had more of correct taste if they sprinkled some instant coffee on top. I'm not saying it tasted bad, I'm saying it wasn't tiramisu, just rename it to cookie butter French toast and take out the tiramisu. read more

A newer location that has a place an order at the counter to be brought to you set up. This is not my favorite type of dining, but overall was still a good visit. I love love love that they have a plant-based menu and easily accommodated a vegetarian option for. The photos don't do it justice, but the impossible sausage breakfast sandwich was amazing! My friend enjoyed her meal, and we loved the mural on the wall. I can definitely see returning, though the parking in cramped with limited seating inside. read more

Right after reading Lina L's glowing review of his place on Yelp, I put it in my "to try" collection. It wasn't long before my breakfast accomplice, Jodi and I embarked on our inaugural visit. We love to order and share- so we split the "Prickly pear cheesecake French toast" $12, the "Hollan-Daze in Phoenix" burger with criss-cross fries $16 and the French press for two $8. If you're not counting calories, these are two of the items to try! Imagine melted American cheese with crispy chips (tortilla chips) bacon, lettuce, tomato with green chili hollandaise sauce crowned on two smashed beef burger patties. A symphony of tastes that didn't overwhelm with salt or grease! The soft bun, beef and condiments were balanced nicely! As for our dessert masquerade as breakfast was created from thick cut slices of yellow bread, coated with pretzel crumbles and maintained their crispiness throughout the meal! The tasty cheesecake filling, compote and whipped cream made a sweet ending to our brunch. Since they were out of the cold brew with seasonal foam we ordered the coffee for two, French press style. This proved to be just right for us. Even though full table service isn't provided, the friendly demeanor of the cook and the counter gentleman at the counter who not only cleared and cleaned tables, engaged in conversation and made our visit very pleasant. If I had knowledge of the unique menu when they opened five months ago, I would have had many more visits in my history and in my stomach! Very limited spots for cars in the front, I recommend parking in the back. Rumor has it that Frank F a fellow Yelper also has had the culinary delights here. On my next stop I plan to order the BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato aioli and avocado sandwich and have the brunch/dessert item, fried ice cream french toast. ;) read more

Great service, delicious food. I had the classic bacon breakfast burrito and a cold brew with horchata pumpkin foam. Would enjoy this again.

Came in on a Sunday around 11 am, there was an expected line out the door. Seating is first come first serve. There is indoor and outdoor seating but the outdoor seating is limited. We ordered a cookie butter french toast, sausage and egg breakfast sandwich and a cold brew with cold foam. The food service was honestly super quick for how busy they were and everything satisfied us. This was one of our favorite meals this whole trip. The cookie butter French toast was perfectly sweet, the middle was warm and soft. The egg and sausage sandwich was delicious, I love a homemade sausage patty. I will definitely be back here, I'm excited to try more off the menu especially their monthly specials! read more

I tried here because it was on another persons yelp that I follow. We thought the food was alright, nothing special or extravagant about his place over any other place. We both really enjoyed our meals, I got the bananas foster French toast combo, I was able to eat half the French toast. It's was overwhelmingly sweet. I should have expected that, but it was still good. My S.O. Got street fries with asada beef in it. Again it was what we expected. This is a good place to eat, we just weren't WOW'd by what we got. But we are glad we tried this place, we do recommend it to everyone. A lot of people were so happy while eating here and the staff was all very friendly. But this place was PACKED, so arrive early and expect to wait a little bit read more

Boyfriend and I went here on a Sunday afternoon for some brunch. I love how they have a vegan menu and everything on it sounds super good. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice lady at the front who handed me the special vegan menu and took the time to explain everything including their specials, drinks, everything. I also liked their little coffee station by the drinks and was pleased to see oat milk in one of the carafes. They also had an assortment of creamers a flavored syrups along with an assortment of teas, including one of my favorites, Stash Peach! The restaurant has a few outdoor seats but there's not really a patio section so we sat inside. The inside decor is pretty cool. The food we thought was so-so. I ordered a vegan burrito and it was mostly all potatoes and a hint of just egg, a hint of impossible sausage, and a thin layer of guacamole. The whole thing was under seasons and the potatoes had very little flavor so the whole burrito tasted like bland potatoes. Even with the salsa, it was still a bit bland. I put a ton of cholula on it, which seemed to enhance things a little bit the burrito as a whole desperately needed seasoning and maybe more of a balance between the potatoes and the other items. Would I come here again? Yes. I'm interested in trying their vegan French toast and some of their other items. Maybe it was just an off day, I don't know but I'm always willing to try restaurants a few times and update my reviews accordingly. read more

Chose this place today at 1030 am for the first time based simply on the reviews. Ordered coffee, a soft drink and the chicken bacon chipotle sando. Found the following. Coffee seemed like it was very old tasting, def did not finish, the fries that came with the sando were Luke warm at best and the chicken sando was made fresh but was very dry and lacking any type of flavor. Would not return. read more

By FAR the best french toast I have ever had... Bananas Foster! My only complaints... Bananas need to be sauteed in the sauce not just plunked on top fresh... And it needs a little more sauce! Crunchy stuff on outside was wonderful as was the cheesecake filling. Will go back asap! read more

Love this place so much! I've been about three times now their menu is awesome food is made so well made the portions are big and visually appealing definitely make sure you grab a picture for your social media before digging in! The atmosphere is cozy lots of homey decor and the cups plates bowls all are very home styled not your typical white plates. The service is also awesome! Just stopped by on Mother's Day and the line was out the door however the staff kept the line moving the tables clean and flipped with such haste that we barely waited longer than ten minutes to be seated. 10/10 would always recommend. I would love to one day own a place like theirs.! read more

A MUST TRY! hands down! The food was PHENOMENAL! The ambiance was soo fun! And the staff was helpful and friendly. It is seat yourself and not a huge location. The drinks are self server. The food is amazing! They need more seating but that's not their fault. The service is excellent too!

WHAT A FIND! Very clean, very friendly and an unusual and delicious looking menu. The Steak and Egg Benedict had a great taste, the meat was a little fatty but it was very tasty. When my husband bit into his Hollan-daze in Phoenix burger, his eyes rolled back and he said, "there are no words" because it was so good. Seating was horrible. Space was very very loud. Portions were skimpy, not a good value for the money. Hubby's hash browns dry and uninspired. Eggs were just ok. I can't have potatoes so I had to pay an uncharge for 2 not quite ripe strawberries. Coffee was good, nice little bar with syrups. Was very crowded, so not sure what we were missing as to what the big draw was. Won't be back. read more

Cute little place. Order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I like that they have a small alcohol selection, including mimosas. We got a flight. Honestly? 5 stars. Vegan review. We shared the breakfast tacos & the breakfast burrito. Both were great but I can't stop thinking about the tacos. They had every element of texture, loaded and flavor combinations. I love that they use Just Egg and the meat on the tacos was delicious too. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is casual. I called to place a to go order and the woman that picked up told me that she couldn't take my order over the phone because she had a full line ahead of her and directed me to place an online order. I wouldn't have minded if she needed for me to hold on the phone for a few minutes before someone was able to help me, but I couldn't place an online order because I didn't have my card information on me and I wanted to use Apple Pay. I will forever be a fan of Thanks a Brunch, their food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the Classic Breakfast Burrito and it was literally the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. The flavors worked so well together. The only thing I needed was some regular Cholula sauce, it wasn't on the table where they had the green Cholula and Tapatio, however I neglected to ask if they even have it. My SO got the Chicken Bacon Chipotle Sandwich and it came with a side of waffle fries. When I tell you my SO is the pickiest french fry person, he ate every single crumb of these fries. Nothing left. They were perfectly crispy and crunchy with delicious seasoning on them and the extra Chipotle sauce they have, absolutely to die for. I'd go back just for the fries and sauce. Overall, I have the best experience every time I come here. The food is delicious and I cannot wait to try every menu item. read more

I read in the reviews they had great gluten free options. BEWARE: there are NO gluten free options except corn tortillas. In 2025 it's pretty ridiculous to not have a GF bread or bun option!! I was unpleasantly surprised. Anyway I had breakfast tacos, no problem, right? They were absolutely awful. Check the pics and see for yourself. Why would anyone serve guacamole that was clearly that old?? It was dark green and tasteless. And since when do tacos come on deep fried tortillas?? It was just weird. The salsa was almost like ketchup--no flavor. I won't be going back. read more

When we pulled up to this small restaurant, we didn't expect much. But just walking inside changed our opinion. It was colorfully and cleverly decorated. You do order from the counter, which took the six of us a while since the menu was more extensive and interesting than we thought it would be. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. Many unusual choices such as the prickly pear cheesecake French toast or the YOLote breakfast burrito or red onion jam and feta burger. We all ordered something different and everyone loved their choice. You sit down with a menu, then order from the counter. You really need that sit down time to go over everything. I was on a weekly lunch date with my mom, so we decided to have brunch here. We have strict dietary restrictions and discovered that they have vegan and vegetarian options! Thanks a bunch! They can make almost everything vegetarian here. The staff was nice, and our server was attentive, but it's not truly a full-service restaurant. You order at the counter and get your own drinks, but they deliver your food. My mom and I got our self-serve coffee, and she ordered the chicken chipotle sandwich, and as a vegetarian, I ordered the Smash breakfast burger with the impossible meat substitute. They were good, and the fries were perfectly cut. My only criticism is that the fries were way too salty! Holy cow! They might want to ease up on the salt. We're aging Yelp reviewers, and some of us already have high cholesterol. LOL. I was going to give them 4 stars but bumped it up to 5 because they provide complimentary flavored coffee syrups and flavored creamers. I'm sure the salty fries were not intentional, but they might want to do a taste test before serving them. read more

Thanks A Brunch is my new favorite lunch spot. After 3 visits and 4 entrées, I realized that one item after another is delicious. Thanks A Brunch is located in the southwest quandrant off of McQueen and Guadelupe roads in Mesa. Obviously, it is a brunch kitchen. But its food is so tasty you will want to try it any time they are open. The location is a new spot, having just opened in October. I call the decor "home spring fresh" for the GenX women and younger tastes who like the look of bathroom homeyness with cute, dried flower vases to mark your order number. It's all very warm and comforting, but still serious enough to be a restaurant. The food, as I said, is special and worth a visit. My first meal at Thanks A Bunch was the Hollan-daze in Phoenix Burger, an acclaimed award winning version of a bacon cheese burger. This was absolutely excellent - the best burger I have had in the last 15 years. The next day, I had the Classic Breakfast Burrito, which was surprisingly fresh, savory, and delightful. On another visit, I tried the Smash Breakfast Burger, which was a delicious collage of flavors, including the delightful egg that compliments the smashed crispiness of the burger edges. Finally, the last entrée I tried was the Green Chili Breakfast Tacos, which were another homerun. No matter your interest, if you like vibrant flavors that are served fresh and hot with unique and wonderful taste, you will love Thanks A Brunch. Prices are reasonable, and the menu is focused but extensive for a brunch pallet. The staff is absolutely wonderful, helpful and kind. You order your food at the counter, and they bring it hot to your table. The staff that took my order was kind and answered my questions. I even had the opportunity to meet the chef and owner, who clearly loves making her signature dishes for people who enjoy food. If you are looking for a delicious breakfast or lunch in Mesa, break out of your routine and checkout Thanks A Brunch! You will love it! read more

Thanks A Brunch (McQueen) was busy, but the order-at-the-counter setup saves time and money, so I get it, and we were able to get a table. The decor is cute and cozy. The food was very good. I did get my hopes up from another review that they had "tons of gluten-free options," which, from a breakfast/brunch restaurant, I assumed they would at least have had a GF toast option, but sadly, they don't, so the GF options are limited to corn tortillas on their breakfast tacos and tostada. The beans were delicious and the breakfast smash burger (no bun) was very good, although I would have liked a tomato on it, or to have been asked if I wanted one when ordering. They were too busy to come by the table and ask if we needed anything after the food came out. All the prep and plating was lovely. The flight of mimosas was mostly juice. It always amazes me that more breakfast restaurants don't make GF pancakes and waffles - you literally can't taste the difference when prepared properly, and I'd wager it would increase business by 5-10% if advertised. read more
