Been coming here for a few years now! My favorite dish is the garlic pepper tofu! I also love the Thai tea float and pad soon sen which I didn't end up getting this time around. There's always seating available when I'm here. Very friendly service, great flavors and probably my favorite Thai spot in the area. Will definitely keep coming back

Highly recommended by another fellow Elite Yelper so we decided to check it out. We had a good experience, both food and service were very good. We started with Chicken satay and the meat was very tender and tasty. Pineapple fried rice was a very generous portion (not served on a pineapple) and very good. You can taste the fire power on the fried rice that you can't make at home. Green curry with beef is tasty, but probably better to pair with shrimp or chicken or tofu. The seafood hotpot was slightly more sour than what I'd like (this is normal and expected as my stomach can't tolerate acid very well, and mentioned ahead of time), they gladly took it in and mild it down for us. It came out a bit later and it was delicious. Service was excellent, it was pretty busy with all the tables taken, everyone was courteous, caring, and helpful.

Such a yummy Thai spot!! This is definitely a lowkey spot that I was super lucky to stumble upon :) The papaya salad was so refreshing and I liked the crispy pork with it. The keemao with beef was so tender and every bite was perfection. I really liked the panang curry and the coconut flavor was delicious. I wish it was little thicker consistency but flavor was great! The green beans with beef/chicken was also really tasty and I liked how crunchy they were. I got medium spice level for everything, which wasn't really spicy so would do higher spice level next time! For dessert, we got mango sticky rice and fried banana with ice cream, which were huge portions! The mango was sweet and fresh and the desserts ended the meal perfectly.

Found this gem of delicious food 2 weeks ago and stopped by once again. The king of the sea soup is just delicious the lemon grass is just enough and good amount of seafood . Calamari also delicious . The girls are so helpful and their service is good ! I enjoy this place so much . I definitely will be going back again .

Still our favorite Thai place of many in the neighborhood. Food is delicious and service is always great. Had the green Thai curry with chicken again but this time it was a bit disappointing because of too much sauce and not enough chicken. Hopefully it was just a one-off. We also had the pad see ew, the pid koi ping with prawns, the Siamese eggplant, and the sticky rice with mango for dessert which were all really good!

Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try--honestly one of the best decisions I've made. The Thai food here is absolutely delicious. I ordered the combination pad Thai and it was packed with flavor--everything tasted amazing and well-balanced. I also had the mango sticky rice on the side, and it was just as good. Perfect way to finish the meal. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. You won't be disappointed.

Husband and I came in with our 5 kiddos and we all had an amazing time! We had 5 star service, thailicious catered to our every need, kiddos were given stickers and all types of sweets! The inside is very cute and warm, the lighting is dim very relaxing probably helped kiddos stay a bit calm. We ordered their fried wontons and satay chicken for appetizers, really liked the presentation. Kiddos had orange chicken and fried rice and they devoured everything and these kids are a bit picky. Husband and I had the Thai beef boat and crying tiger both really good! I highly recommend!

Came here for lunch with my son and had their pad see ew with beef, while my son had the same with chicken. My son got their Thai tea. Parking is easy, service great, food came out fast - glad I stopped in while in the area this week.

    Tom yum noodle soup

Thailicious is a small hole in the wall eatery in a strip mall off of South and Norwalk Blvd. My friend and I ordered a few appetizers that were pretty ordinary and run-of-the-mill. But what did stand out was the tom yum noodle soup, which was exceptional. The tangy and spicy base paired perfectly with the vermicelli noodles, to the point that I'm surprised more Thai restaurants don't offer this combination. I also appreciated that they offer different sizes, so I was able to finish my small soup without wasting any. Lastly, service was friendly and attentive. To sum it up, I'll definitely be back for more tom yum noodle soup. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

THAILICIOUS !!! Let's talk about it the menu is actually larger than expected especially with it being a smaller establishment. , but I was happy I was able to have options , I order the eggrolls , or gyoza and silver noodles and everything was absolutely delicious and filling . The service was great , immediately greeted and served a cup of water , my waiter tip was really cool dude love how he engaged with the customers and his bubbly attitude , and let's not forget his HONESTY! I was going to order more but he ensured me this was enough food especially for just 1 person and it was so thank you tip for saving me money . The ambiance, clean . I'll definitely go back to Try more things in the menu .

Stopped by for their lunch special, and I went with their most popular dish, the Sweet Basil with ground pork. It also came with two sides, so I grabbed the Tom Yum Soup and a side of white rice. The flavors here are bold and authentic, exactly what you want when you're craving Thai food. I asked for extra spicy, and they delivered, no questions asked. The Tom Yum Soup was the perfect balance of tangy and spicy, and the Sweet Basil pork was loaded with flavor. The inside was a little dead, but I think that's normal for a slow rush hour. Service was quick and friendly, parking was easy, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Definitely planning to come back.

Found this place right under our noses! I grew up in the area and somehow never stopped by until last week, and since then, this is already our third time back. Everything we've tried has been amazing. The yellow curry, crying tiger, and mango sticky rice are definite must-orders. Each dish is packed with flavor, tastes authentic, and is cooked perfectly. So glad we finally discovered this spot. Compliments to the chef! We'll definitely keep coming back.

Hi Ruth. We are still closed. I will keep you posted when we open back up. We still working on getting our license back.

Is this place closed? I tried calling. No answer. So we drove there and it looked like maybe some construction inside? Wasn't sure. But they wouldn't answer the phone. :(

Looks like they lost a license or something - the owner posted about it under another similar question that was asked they are looking to get it back & reopen soon.

Did you guys change phone numbers or something? I have been trying to order my food both online and over the phone and I either get voicemail or that the online service is not available right now. Can you please update? Thank you!

From the reviewers the food seems good. How are the portions?

Good! I ordered take-out (Panang curry + Garlic Pepper Beef) and they filled all the containers :)

We were immediately sat when we arrived around 6pm but most tables were filled. Service was good and the food arrived pretty fast! We ordered the tom yum gai, crab fried rice, pad thai, and calamari. The tom yum gai is perfect for someone with a scratchy throat from allergies because it cleared them up! It had a good amount of sourness to it. Calamari was perfectly crispy and not too chewy. Crab fried rice was abundant so we needed 2 to go boxes. Pad Thai was delicious. Definitely a place where you should share your dishes with friends and family or be prepared to take to go boxes because of the amount that's on the plate. I'd definitely come back!

Thai Original BBQ, Cerritos -- I am awash with nostalgia whenever I visit the Artesia/Cerritos area…read more-- home to a vibrant Filipino community, and where I lived on-and-off for nearly a decade. It's here that I welcomed the familiar comfort foods from home, and I'm in one of my favorite restaurants: Thai Original BBQ. Its name says Thai, but over time its food has evolved to skew subtly toward a Filipino palate that balances sweet, sour, salty, umami flavors, with a mild level of spice. I wondered: how far has it veered off Thai Town's flavor baseline? Entering the place is like getting into a time capsule -- its décor is exactly the same as when I first ate here 41 years ago. The long saltwater aquarium is still there, as are the same red vinyl cushioned booths. But the carpeting is noticeably threadbare, and the starched white table linens are long gone, revealing washed-out Formica. Thai Original BBQ is known for its single-plate meals featuring proteins and vegetables over sweetish rice stir-fried in Nam Prik Pao, resulting in its orange color. Tonight's dinner was our time-tested reliables: the Combination Soup, Satay Dinner, and Chicken Ruby Dinner. The combination soup was served in a fire pot. Its comforting stock is translucent, with no visible scum - packed with umami from the fish sauce and heaped with pieces of chicken, pork, shrimp, and vegetables. So comforting, even on a warm night! The satay dinner consists of eight skewers of thinly sliced flank steak, grilled to perfection, with a sweet-spicy and creamy peanut dipping sauce. And the Chicken Ruby dinner was impressive -- a whole Cornish hen, stuffed with a sausage made from a mixture of pork, rice, and glass noodles, then deep-fried whole. This delectable dish will make the "Colonel" tap out. These dishes are how I remember them -- and they bring back so many fond memories of family get-togethers. Eating here turns every meal into a mindful event. My wife and I hardly spoke to each other while eating - it wasn't being rude at all. The silence came from a quiet joy -- from something familiar, from something comforting. Thai Original BBQ did not veer as far from what we've always welcomed as Thai as I had wondered. In many ways, Thai food is similar to Filipino food: a balance of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy elements. Fish sauce is foundational to both cuisines, providing saltiness and umami, while coconut juice, palm sugar, and tamarind bring sweetness and sourness. Thai Original BBQ is really a taste of home. Five stars -- no asterisk, no hesitation.
