Oh, sweet Lord! This was the very best Thai food I have ever eaten in my life. The flavors were amazing. It was practically a religious experience. Seriously, though, the seasonings had a special twist with personal recipes the cook brought here from Thailand (yes, I actually asked the server). If I lived here I'd come to eat every week. The atmosphere is very casual. The location is great.

Yummy Thai restaurant located in the center of the bustling Federal Hill district! It was very quiet here on Saturday night but that didn't stop this place from bringing it with some tasty food. I went simple and got a chicken pad Thai which was very good, light and tasty. My friend got a sticky rice with mango which was also very good. The staff were friendly and pricing was very fair for their location.

Vegetable Pad Thai, have had better.

Ordered takeout from here on a Wednesday night around 6pm. Only ordered a few items so it only took about 20 minutes. If you haven't noticed already, it's located on Atwells Ave so there is only street parking. Place is clean and full of green and neutrals. Staff was polite. Didn't see anyone sitting down when picking up my order so not sure if they are currently offering seating due to COVID-19. Call ahead. Drink: Thai iced tea - really good! Sweet but the sweetness wasn't overpowering. Entree: Vegetable pad Thai - good size portion. Flavor was good but it needed a bit more flavor especially on the noodles which were rather pale. So obviously this came with vegetables which is what I wanted but here's the thing, some of the vegetables were cut into too large of pieces. Carrots were a great size, green beans were okay, pepper pieces were large, broccoli was large, and the onion pieces were huge and there were a lot off them. Too many onions to be honest and I do like onion. It made it difficult to enjoy the vegetables with the noodles - they were almost like separate dishes and they should've been more joined together. Overall based on other reviews I'm not sure if I'm quite ready to give up on this place yet, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be getting the Vegetable pad Thai again.

Extremely friendly staff and owner. The decor and ambience is exactly what you're looking for. Would recommend this restaurant without a second thought. Not only is the food really good and authentic; the owner is very conscious about waste and sustainability. They encourage you to use pasta straws to cut back on plastic straw and your own containers (if you're taking out) are wax wrapped paper. Things to get: Thai fried rice Drunken noodles Goyza/ dumplings Thai iced tea What to avoid: fresh wraps: In my honest opinion, the worst I've eaten. BUT 8/10 would recommend.

Pretty amazing drunken noodles , just wish there were some more noodles. Spice levels were perfect, mind you it is still spicy. Also average portion sizes. They don't have delivery yet. Overall, great place to check out if you're looking for Thai food in the area. Parking is painful as always in the area. Will be back to try some of their other dishes.

(Vegan Review) This is one of my favorite Thai food restaurants. I was first interested in this place because they are able to make most/all dishes vegan! I love the scallion pancakes for an appetizer with the curry dipping sauce. Perfect amount of crispiness on the outside with a soft center. The veggie Pad Thai was made vegan for me which is covered with roasted peanuts. I usually squeeze the lemon on it and it's out of this world delicious. They recently added some vegan ice creams to their menu and I was first to try the mango flavor which was also a hit. Friends of mine who eat meat enjoyed the mango curry dish and the chicken and shrimp pad Thai. Also their service was always great. Sam usually was the server when I have been and she's sweet and accommodating. Thanks Thailand Modern Eatery for amazing food, atmosphere, and service!

Our second time here within the week for my daughter's graduation party. I really want to thank Thailand Modern Eatery, Leo, Danny, and our server Sam for making her graduation lunch special! I wish we took pictures of the food before we ate it, but it looked so delicious that everyone dig in. We did manage to take a couple of desserts. Mango with sticky rice and Rotee which is fried dough with ice cream. Thank you Thailand Modern Eatery again!

Honestly was expecting so much more from this restaurant. Came here with a friend on a Wednesday night on federal hill and it was completely dead. My friend ordered us a secret menu salad to start, which had so much flavors for entrees my friend ordered the larb with sticky rice and I got the chicken shrimp pad Thai. To be honest the food was okay, just not great. And considering the prices of our entree, my friend and I both agreed that we could go to other places in the area for about half the price that we paid. The only redeeming factor was our amazing waitress, Molly. But I guess I would recommend this place if you need a place to eat, and I did see a few guys from grub hub picking up orders so that's a good thing for locals

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.

Between my husband and I, we ordered the caprese salad and meatballs appetizers, sliced strip steak with mashed potatoes and mushrooms, a fettuccine with asparagus and prosciutto with cream sauce, and dessert was the pannecotta and cannoli. Pasta was freshly made and al dente, steak was tender and flavorful. We loved everything. My only complaint that for a large restaurant, bathroom was small. Only one unit per gender.

The food overall was solid. One star docked because my pasta was over-salted in which I had to scrape the excess sauce on the noodles toward the end. The guanciale paired with pecorino romano is bound to be on the saltier side, but I think the pasta could have been unsalted to balance it out a bit more. That said, the guanciale and pasta were delicious, perfectly cooked. You can tell they use quality, simple ingredients! Their 3-course presto lunch for $24 is a hard to beat deal; however, I may venture out to their regular menu next time. Yes--there will likely be another time!

I'm also not just talking about their signature martinis with the names. They have different types of martinis and fruity ones as well, and those are just as delicious, maybe even a little better than their signature ones, which always hit the spot regardless. I usually come here to chitchat with friends and catch up for drinks, so I haven't gotten huge meals, but I've heard that the food is delicious, and I definitely will be coming back to try it. I did try their charcuterie board, and it's so delicious and filling, and perfect for picking at a little something while you have your delicious drinks. Location: This location is right in the heart of downtown PVD. This place definitely gives more business casual vibes, but you can definitely dress up to go on a date. If I'm not mistaken, Friday and Saturday nights definitely have more of a club vibe after a certain time, but during the week, I've also gone before, and it's very low-lit, romantic, and honestly perfect for any occasion, especially with the type of drinks they have! Parking can be a little difficult because it's downtown, but you can always try to get street parking with a little walk. I honestly find parking down the street, and it's not that hard. There's also parking you can pay for right on the corners, so there are different ways of finding a place to park. Taking an Uber would be a great idea as well, so you don't have to deal with anything and can drink as much as you want. They do not have valet. Service: The service has always been super friendly and very accommodating. Honestly, all the times that I've gone, they've been very helpful with helping us get seats and just giving us a great experience, even with how busy it gets. This is definitely a spot that I not only recommend to everyone, but it's somewhere that I will continue to go because it's genuinely one of my favorites!

One of the hostesses was an absolute doll. We loved her. We sat for just a little while waiting for appetizers, and my wife discovered that her ASS REALLY HURT, badly, and mine was getting bad too, due to my lack of natural cushion back there. My wife stood up and never sat back down. She noticed a 4 top leaving and asked the hostess if we could move, completely unaware of the challenges this can pose the crew during the course of business (changing table numbers in a POS isn't always as easy as it sounds). But she agreed it should be ok. They were busy, too, and I heard that they had some staff call in "sick" after a wild 4th of July. So they took care of us and I was really grateful for that. My Mexican Corn Chicken Sando was ok... the flavors kind of got mixed together on a way that it didn't really taste that awesome to me. The wife loved her Huevos Rancheros, despite the hair she found in it (after having them change our seats, she was too embarrassed to say anything about that) and the tortillas that were so Chewy, they were inedible, she really enjoyed it. Our daughter really really liked the poutine a lot. All in all, I wouldn't rush back here, but I think our main complaint was the accursed seating. Aside from the high top, man, on the regular seats you're just sitting on a flat block of wood. McDonald's has more comfortable seating, and McDonald's intentionally makes the seating slightly uncomfortable so you don't just sit there forever, taking up a table. Anyway, it was alright. Every restaurant has its difficult days (and it's difficult customers!).

It felt like such a treat to have a quality dining spot just steps from my room, especially after long days exploring the expo. The restaurant has a warm and modern atmosphere, with a stylish interior featuring sleek wood finishes, cozy lighting, and an inviting open kitchen concept that lets you watch the chefs in action. It is spacious yet comfortable, making it perfect for both solo dining at the bar and gathering with friends at a table. One of the biggest highlights about 110 Grill is their dedication to accommodating dietary needs. They are known for having a completely gluten-free menu, right down to a separate fryer to avoid cross-contamination. As someone who appreciates when restaurants go the extra mile for their guests, I thought that was fantastic. I came in around noon on Sunday, and the place was surprisingly quiet, offering a peaceful escape from the busy weekend crowds. The bartender was absolutely wonderful. Although she seemed to be the only person working the floor at the time, she managed everything with such grace and friendliness. She was attentive and so kind, and she mixed some amazing drinks. I enjoyed a couple of their signature 110 Margaritas, and they were both fantastic, perfectly balanced with fresh citrus flavors and just the right amount of tequila kick. For my meal, I ordered the Apricot Shrimp Risotto along with a side Caesar salad, and it completely blew me away. The risotto was creamy and rich without being heavy or mushy, and I was delighted that there were no diced onions hiding in it, since I usually find they overpower the dish. The shrimp were large and tender, and the hint of sweetness from the apricot created a beautiful harmony of flavors. It was one of those meals that stays with you long after you have left town because it was genuinely that delicious. Looking through the menu, I noticed that 110 Grill offers a great variety of dishes ranging from hearty steaks and burgers to creative seafood options and vibrant vegetarian plates. Their menu often features seasonal specials and locally inspired flavors, keeping things fresh and exciting. They also have an impressive cocktail list and a nice selection of wines and local craft beers, which makes it a great spot for both dinner and drinks. Service, even during quiet times, felt warm and personal, and I appreciated how attentive the staff were to details, especially when it comes to food allergies or dietary preferences. If you find yourself staying at the Residence Inn or anywhere nearby, or you simply want a delicious meal in a modern, comfortable setting, I highly recommend checking out 110 Grill. It was the perfect place to relax, indulge in a fantastic meal, and treat myself during my trip to Flight Sim Expo. I am already looking forward to coming back the next time I am in town.

I walked in thinking it would be a quick and easy order since I came from right across the street. The young lady at the front counter was friendly and told me what she personally liked, but she didn't know much about several of the items on the menu. She repeatedly had to walk back to ask the manager--which was fine--but the manager wasn't as helpful as I expected either. The young lady mentioned that the barbecue nachos were her favorite, so I ordered the barbecue macaroni and cheese instead since I was walking and didn't want the chips to get soggy. I also ordered the boneless wings, which honestly surprised me--they were the size of tenders and ended up being the best thing I tried. They were flavorful, stayed crispy, and were the highlight of the meal. Everything else, however, was disappointing. The drink portion was the size of a kid's cup but priced like multiple adult drinks combined--and it was only lemonade. The barbecue on top of the macaroni and cheese was just okay, not great, but not terrible. The macaroni and cheese itself was the real problem: watery, flavorless, and far from creamy. It was so bad that I ended up throwing it away. For the amount I spent and what I received, I don't recommend coming here. It also took nearly an hour to prepare two food items and two drinks, and the restaurant wasn't even busy--only a few tables were occupied. I don't understand why the wait was so long. I don't think I'd return, unless I happened to be in the area and only wanted the chicken. But with the long wait times, high prices, and disappointing food quality, I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

you really get what you pay for here. this is a "once a year if youre lucky" kind of establishment…read more the kind you default to when its your anniversary and you really love your spouse lol. points of interest: -2 drinks got me pleasantly drunk, but not hammered. the perfect balance. -the arancini was flawless. we both marveled over how it managed to maintain its structural integrity despite being a pile of wet rice in a breaded coating. -husband completely cleared his squid ink seafood dish, leaving only soupy remains. i should have asked to take it home so i could dip a loaf of bread in it. -my pasta was crazy good. ive had so many "just ok" pasta dishes in restaurants using the same damn sysco sauce that i forgot that you can get something novel and fresh. -we both split a cheesecake at the end. perfect meal. service was awesome, as it always is. everyone is so polite and (seemingly?) unstressed to work there despite being slammed for dinner. see you next year, hopefully, pan e vino!

Our server, Dwight, seemed rushed and inattentive throughout the evening. From the start, we felt like an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. We asked if we could move to a nearby table that was already set for eight, as our current table was cramped and located in a very tight walkway where people constantly brushed past us. We were told the table was reserved, yet from the time we arrived just before 6:00 PM until we left at 8:45 PM, no one was ever seated there. It was frustrating, especially since the cramped space made our dining experience uncomfortable. Service overall was lacking. Dwight rarely checked on us, and when we tried to get his attention for drinks or assistance, he would quickly pass by before we had the chance to ask. It often felt like we were bothering him. We were not offered water, and getting additional beverages was unnecessarily difficult. The food itself was just okay, nothing memorable. When we ordered dessert and cappuccino, the cappuccino tasted like it was made with spoiled milk, but again, no one came back to check on us, so we had no opportunity to address it. The most disappointing moment was the birthday acknowledgment. We asked for a dessert with a candle to celebrate an 85th birthday, and instead received a plate with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate, a small amount of whipped cream, and a candle. It was underwhelming and, honestly, a bit embarrassing. We would have gladly paid for a proper dessert. Jacob the busser was the only attentive one there. We have come to Pane e Vino every year for family birthdays because we've always enjoyed the atmosphere, but after this experience, we will not be returning.

I really enjoy Thai food, and I never get to have it! I had never tried spring rolls like these…read more.. like a beautiful love baby between a crab Rangoon and a spring roll. Life is forever changed! I also tried the crispy pad Thai, which isn't necessarily my first choice going forward, but incredibly delicious. I do love the regular chewy rice noodles over the crunchy noodles. I tried my friend's plate, which had these really nice wide, flat rice noodles in a super spicy sauce. I'll definitely order that next time! Service was incredibly friendly and attentive. Dining room is gorgeous. I also had a Thai tea bubble tea, which was deliciously sweet and refreshing. Can't wait to go back!

Our server, Jaokhun, was the most cheerful and bouncy and efficient person we have ever had! We ordered a large Mai Thai bowl to share - more than we would normally do. For food we had their signature roasted chicken dish with sticky rice and garlic string beans, which was excellent. Then we added another crispy chicken dish- overkill and took most of it home. It came to $60, to which we added a generous tip. We like the vibe here and resolved to return with a shorter absence.
