During my recent four-day stay at the Residence Inn while attending Flight Sim Expo 2025, I was so happy to discover that 110 Grill was conveniently attached right to the hotel. It felt like such a treat to have a quality dining spot just steps from my room, especially after long days exploring the expo. The restaurant has a warm and modern atmosphere, with a stylish interior featuring sleek wood finishes, cozy lighting, and an inviting open kitchen concept that lets you watch the chefs in action. It is spacious yet comfortable, making it perfect for both solo dining at the bar and gathering with friends at a table. One of the biggest highlights about 110 Grill is their dedication to accommodating dietary needs. They are known for having a completely gluten-free menu, right down to a separate fryer to avoid cross-contamination. As someone who appreciates when restaurants go the extra mile for their guests, I thought that was fantastic. I came in around noon on Sunday, and the place was surprisingly quiet, offering a peaceful escape from the busy weekend crowds. The bartender was absolutely wonderful. Although she seemed to be the only person working the floor at the time, she managed everything with such grace and friendliness. She was attentive and so kind, and she mixed some amazing drinks. I enjoyed a couple of their signature 110 Margaritas, and they were both fantastic, perfectly balanced with fresh citrus flavors and just the right amount of tequila kick. For my meal, I ordered the Apricot Shrimp Risotto along with a side Caesar salad, and it completely blew me away. The risotto was creamy and rich without being heavy or mushy, and I was delighted that there were no diced onions hiding in it, since I usually find they overpower the dish. The shrimp were large and tender, and the hint of sweetness from the apricot created a beautiful harmony of flavors. It was one of those meals that stays with you long after you have left town because it was genuinely that delicious. Looking through the menu, I noticed that 110 Grill offers a great variety of dishes ranging from hearty steaks and burgers to creative seafood options and vibrant vegetarian plates. Their menu often features seasonal specials and locally inspired flavors, keeping things fresh and exciting. They also have an impressive cocktail list and a nice selection of wines and local craft beers, which makes it a great spot for both dinner and drinks. Service, even during quiet times, felt warm and personal, and I appreciated how attentive the staff were to details, especially when it comes to food allergies or dietary preferences. Located downtown, you'd expect the food and drinks to be amazing, but unfortunately, most of what I tried fell short. I walked in thinking it would be a quick and easy order since I came from right across the street. The young lady at the front counter was friendly and told me what she personally liked, but she didn't know much about several of the items on the menu. She repeatedly had to walk back to ask the manager--which was fine--but the manager wasn't as helpful as I expected either. The young lady mentioned that the barbecue nachos were her favorite, so I ordered the barbecue macaroni and cheese instead since I was walking and didn't want the chips to get soggy. I also ordered the boneless wings, which honestly surprised me--they were the size of tenders and ended up being the best thing I tried. They were flavorful, stayed crispy, and were the highlight of the meal. Everything else, however, was disappointing. The drink portion was the size of a kid's cup but priced like multiple adult drinks combined--and it was only lemonade. The barbecue on top of the macaroni and cheese was just okay, not great, but not terrible. The macaroni and cheese itself was the real problem: watery, flavorless, and far from creamy. It was so bad that I ended up throwing it away. For the amount I spent and what I received, I don't recommend coming here. It also took nearly an hour to prepare two food items and two drinks, and the restaurant wasn't even busy--only a few tables were occupied. I don't understand why the wait was so long. I don't think I'd return, unless I happened to be in the area and only wanted the chicken. But with the long wait times, high prices, and disappointing food quality, I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more

When walking around downtown Providence, I've always passed by 110 Grill so I was looking forward to finally trying the restaurant. This location on 111 Fountain Street is the only location in Rhode Island. There are other locations in MA, NH, NY, and CT. When I was reviewing the menu prior to my visit, I was very excited to try 110 Grill Providence because there were so many options I was interested in. I came to 110 Grill Providence for my first time on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. Our waitress, Yaslin, greeted us and asked if we wanted any drinks. I asked if there were any holiday drinks cuz tis the season, but she said she wasn't sure and would check on it. She came back and informed me that they do not have any holiday drinks, but the bartender would be happy to make something. On the table, I noticed a drink menu with seasonal drinks tucked behind the salt and pepper shakers, so I chose the Blackberry Peach Smash. I thought it was strange that Yaslin didn't point me in the direction of the separate drink menu when I asked initially. The Blackberry Peach Smash was very good and I enjoyed the taste of Bird Dog Peach Whiskey, honey simple, muddled mint, blackberries, and lime with club soda. For appetizer, we ordered a cup of the clam chowder. The clam chowder was a blend of chopped clams, potatoes and spices, but a little watered down and not as creamy as other clam chowders. For entrees, I ordered the prosciutto wrapped cod and my husband ordered the swordfish with 2 sides (brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes.) When my entree came, I asked the waitress about my order since it was not prosciutto wrapped cod and there was no risotto. She said she would check on it. A few moments later, the manager came by and said the waitress thought I wanted the baked cod but I know she heard prosciutto wrapped cod since she repeated that back to me. The manager said he'll put in the prosciutto wrapped cod order and we will not be charged for it. That was great service. While waiting for the new dish, I dug into the baked cod with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The baked cod was topped with crumbled herbed potato chips and the cod was smooth, but it didn't have too much flavor. The mashed potatoes was good and creamy. The Prosciutto Wrapped Cod came and it was okay. The parmesan risotto was a bit al dente and it was watery. We took half of it to have at home. My husband's swordfish didn't have too much flavor and the brussel sprouts were salty, so that balanced each other out but still. Lastly, we ordered the Oreo Brownie Sundae for dessert. It was a warmed fudge brownie topped with vanilla bean ice cream and housemade hot fudge finished with whipped cream and crushed oreo. This was very good and a sweet way to end the meal. I handed Yasmin a card to redeem a free appetizer or dessert with a purchase of an entree prior to 12/31/24 that I received at Comic Con. When the check came, I noticed we were charged for both the appetizer and dessert though I gave Yaslin the card for a free appetizer or dessert. I waited for Yaslin to return to the table so I can inquire about the check, but when she came back she gave us the updated receipt without me mentioning it. It was very nice that the manager offered to give us the correct order for free despite the waitress putting in my incorrect order. I'm not sure if Yaslin was a new waitress or just didn't care since there were so many mishaps, but I feel other waitresses serving other tables got the orders correct and food came out faster. Nevertheless, I do not think I would return to 110 Grill Providence. It is a convenient location, but the food was okay and there are many other options in downtown. The check also includes a pilot fee because 110 Grill Providence uses a Providence-based restaurant management platform called Upserve. Upserve adds on a 5 percent fee to all restaurant orders processed with its software. If the fee was to go to the kitchen staff or for service, then I would think it is acceptable but it is just going to a third-party company. read more

Came here before we went to a Providence Bruins game, I truly believe this place was understaffed sat at the bar. There was plenty of room bartender was amazing, made sure that we had drinks quickly made sure that we were taking care of a communicated very effectively, however, extremely long wait times for food. I just think that they were short, but the bartender was amazing and moved everybody in a very effective manner to the best of her ability, she needs a raise. read more

I was in yesterday with my husband, we sat at the bar. There was a P bruins game, so it was expectedly busy. I have been before, and have always had a good experience. This time i sat for 15 minutes with dirty glass in front of me, and no one acknowledged we sat down- which i chalk up to being busy. We were there for one hour and had to get our own menus and was never asked if we wanted to order food. My frustration is that this was not the case for the entire bar. It appears there were a selected few, were being served numerous drinks, given food and cashed out all within this hour. I get a busy bar, but please be consistent. My manager has a gluten allergy, and 110 Grill's Award-Winning Allergy Commitment gave us full confidence in their menu. The first night, I had the Thai Sesame Salmon, which was perfectly grilled and served with jasmine rice and a fresh broccoli slaw topped with a delicious bang bang sauce. The next night, I enjoyed a perfectly cooked 12 oz NY Strip, aged 28 days and brushed with their rich bone marrow butter. We've now tried 110 Grill at this location twice, and unfortunately both visits were disappointing. Both times we waited over an hour for our food. On our second visit, it had been nearly an hour with no food, and we ultimately had to cancel our order because we needed to leave. During our first visit, when the food finally arrived, it was cold and tasteless. The service was also concerning. The bartender was surly and inattentive -- the gentleman next to us decided not to order food at all because he just wanted to get a beer and leave. The greeter didn't seem interested in helping guests either. He ignored us twice and chose to answer the phone before acknowledging us. It's especially frustrating because we have another 110 Grill location near us where we've never experienced these kinds of issues. I never write reviews but this place pissed me off. Went to dinner with a group of 5 on a Sunday evening. We were 5 of the 9 patrons in this place. For no one in there the service was still terrible. Had to go back and ask them for multiple items. Like a steak knife for a steak. Water refills etc. So 40 mins after ordering the waitress came to the table and informed me they did not have the dish I ordered. So I just said I'll skip my meal but please bring the other food right away as we didn't planning on this taking this long. So 15 minutes later 2 salads with steak were brought out. We told them just to start eating. 10 mins later a 3rd plate arrived. 5 mins later we heard someone ask if the ETA was on the fourth dish. At that point I had to go back to the kitchen and ask for that entree by made to go. 10 mins later went to check and she said they made it without shrimp as they thought there was a shellfish allergy. Like what? Would someone with a shellfish allergy order shrimp scampi? So finally we get the to go bag and a check for everything minus the meal the realized they couldn't make. I asked to speak to the manager and 5 minutes later the waitress came back and said he was busy (keep in mind we are the only people in the restaurant at 8pm) but would comp the meal. I was staying in town for a conference and stopped here for dinner. It was less-than-great. My friend and I ordered two old fashioneds for our drinks. When they came to the table, they looked like apple juice, had so much ice in them, a maraschino cherry, and no orange peel. I took a sip and it literally tasted like maple syrup. I sent mine back and decided I'd order a beer (more on that later). My friend asked if she could just have a bit more bourbon in hers and that would fix it. The waitress brought it back to the bartender, who informed us that adding more bourbon would count as a double and she'd have to charge us for it. Um... you made the drink really poorly and now you want to charge us extra to fix it? I asked what kind of beers they had, and saw they had a seasonal Sam Adams. I asked which one it was. The waitress said "I'm not really good at the menu." We asked if she could go find out. She came back and said "It's basically kind of like an ale. Or.. and ALL? I'm not sure how to say it." I was wondering if it was Cold Snap, Winter Lager, etc. I wanted to know the name of the beer. Whatever. I ordered it anyway. I got a salad with steak on it and asked for the steak to be medium rare. When it came out, it was VERY well done. I had to send it back, and then they brought me a new steak that was rare. Fine. The whole night was just awkward. Our waitress was VERY awkward, not knowledgeable about the menu, or basic service etiquette. Attended a conference across the street. Brought our team to dinner here after a day of learning. One of the worst experiences we've ever had. After sitting for 30 minutes we asked for waters. Manager never helped the wait staff with orders. Our server took our order after being there 45 minutes - honestly at this point we should have left because it was all down hill from here. Our food came out separately. Two people ordered fries that came out after the burgers and salad. Our appetizer came after our meal. The table next to us had the same experience. None of the employees look our way until we asked for our initial water service. The manager stayed in the kitchen area checking the orders and her phone. She should have helped ferry food and drinks to tables or at the onset of the delay at least let us know to expect delayed service. To make amends after being there two hours they offered free dessert which seemed Like a redemption until that also took 30 minutes. At that point the manager came over to deliver the dessert and we asked for the check. When she brought it back she made a point to highlight what she did for us by comping the desserts. Well, with reservations we've been sitting for an hour at the table. No dinner yet. The bread dishes are a nice touch. No bread though. Place is overwhelmed and under prepared. Lots of things going on in the city, and they could have been ready. Chowder was delicious, but tepid. When the food finally arrived (after asking for help in making it happen), it had clearly been sitting waiting for someone to pick it up. Additionally, the check was incorrect (in their favor), but we were already late for the game, so we ate it. C'est la vie. We have season tickets for both basketball and PPAC. we had a positive experience the first time we were here, but with this recent episode, we'll think long and hard before returning. *Their response* Good morning William, Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback about your most recent visit to our Providence location. The service is very good. Isabella was friendly and attentive. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday night. I would come back for the service and the fact they kept my kiddo safe. The food was mid. My son has a food allergy so I'm assuming they probably played our food first and his last so ours was lukewarm. I didn't complain but my husband did and I was too embarrassed to. My fish tacos had a ton more avocado and cole slaw than fish which was pretty disappointing. You can see in photo. My husband ordered the pulled pork Mac n cheese. Huge portion but came back lukewarm so he sent it back and they microwaved it. I would have eaten it anyway but my husband is a pest. So they made him a Reuben instead but the corn beef was cut thick and one side was empty. Just cheese and sauerkraut. He should have just eaten the microwaved Mac n cheese to be honest. Isabella asked how the Rueben was and in true Mike fashion he was honest. So they gave us free dessert. One thing I can say is they try really hard to make customers happy. They probably just had a bad night and I would absolutely try them again. My son liked his turkey burger and it didn't kill him so that was a win. We had a 545 reservation. We arrived at 535 and waited until 559 for the host/hostess to come back to the podium(after another couple in front of us stated they were there 10 minutes before we were). The hostess only acknowledged the couple ahead of us then walked away again. We decided to just leave at that point as it was already almost half an hour after our reservation time. Parking is not good so please prepare yourself. It's a nice space but on a game night the crowd is mixed and it loses its fancy touch. Our waiter was great and so were the drinks but the food was not. The spinach artichoke bread bowl was not good. It wasn't hot nor was it creamy, it was actually pretty stiff. The calamari was nice but the menu makes it sound fancier than it is. It's some bland sauce on the side. The salmon was okay, but there was hair in my food so that quickly ended my dinner. The manager was sweet and offered me something else very quickly hut I declined. The experience was a bit of a let down. read more

In town for a wedding and walked a few blocks to this location came during a slow period and sat at the bar. Had cider on tap and a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled pepper tuna sashimi appetizer. Initial service was prompt and food came out quickly. Soup was tasty but shedded cheese was clumped up in it (not a big deal) and the tuna was tasty as well, slightly chewy but decent portion. 4 stars because once I was done I sat there for maybe 20-30 mins waiting for someone to check in on me to close out. Someone other than the bartender did ask if I was ok. I told her check please but it never made it to the bartender who wasn't covering the bar full time at that point. So. Sat quickly as a walk in. Got decent food quickly but took a bit to get out when done. Will try them again. read more

I stopped by 110 Grill because it was close to my hotel and it turned out to be a good choice. My meal started off with a cup of clam chowder. I was quickly reminded that clam chowder is best in New England! I can't get chowder that good in Philly. My entrée was the prosciutto wrapped cod over a bed of cheesy risotto and broccoli with a lemon butter sauce. A delectable entrée that was a first for me. The cod was perfectly cooked and wrapping it in prosciutto was a great idea. Plus, you can't go wrong finishing it off with a butter sauce. It might be too buttery for some, but you can't have too much butter in my book. For dessert I had the apple crisp, which was just OK. Not worth all the calories so I only ate maybe half of it. My cocktail was a ginger mule, which was perfectly balanced the first time. When I asked for a 2nd drink it wasn't balanced at all. So the consistency is not there with the cocktails. The bartender actually seemed a bit bored and uninterested at times, which is probably why. There is room for improvement at 110 Grill, but it is still a solid choice for a meal in Providence.
