#datenight ##willflyforfood #RIfood RI is definitely a hot spot for foodies. OURS has a new head chief and is now Jamaican inspired cuisine. Its a vibe! the drinks were delicious and came out looking photoshoot ready. there was a mixup with the computer and our dinner took a long time to come out but man it was worth the wait. The oxtail was flavorful fall of the bone and on top of super cheesy mac and cheese. My Caribbean chicken pasta was amazing. The sauce had tons of onions and peppers adding flavor but not in an over powering way. the serving was huge. we had the empanadas for an appetizer and I loved the sause for them but they definitely made it so I brought more of my dinner home than usual lol. and for desert we split the best cheesecake Ive had In ages. we will definitely make the drive back down to try more of the menu.

The food was amazing and the place was decorated wonderfully. The plates were decently portioned for a great price. One thing though, our waitress never really asked for our order. She kinda just stood by our table waiting for us to speak which was a bit odd. Normally, I wouldn't care but the automatic service tip was 20%, adding an extra 14 dollars to our meal. After that, we had to pay an extra 3.99% for using our card. There were no non-alcoholic drinks on the menu, so my group had to ask for drinks without knowing the prices. I got a passionfruit lemonade and two of my friends got Shirley temples, which were reasonably priced, but another pair got virgin piña coladas unfrozen and they were a bit expensive. The drinks were delightful but I'd suggest asking for the price beforehand, because it may surprise you. My friends and I really enjoyed taking pictures, especially after 9 because that's when they turn off the lights and turn on more decorations. I'd definitely go again. I got chicken and broccoli Alfredo. Seasoned great but leaned a bit in the saltier side. The broccoli was cooked great but the chicken had little flavor. All I could really taste were the grill marks. My friends got the Cajun chicken Mac n cheese, the jerk Mac n cheese, chicken tikka, and jerk chicken pizza, and everyone enjoyed it.

Great decor and presentation on food. They are able to accommodate for large groups even 20 people or more. Would be a nice date spot. Fresh Flowers and palms everywhere. No valet. Chef and staff are helpful and friendly and even separated our large bills (included tip on each tab). I like the vibe with the music. They did not rush us and has pitchers of water for self serve. There were several people in our group that had to wait 20-30 minutes for their entree past the others. Standard mixed drinks were on the higher end. Great menu. Chef came out the greet us.

I appreciate the lively environment after a long week day, loud music is to be expected. I'm truly a sucker for any salmon accompanied with a dark ambiance, and their honey glazed salmon never disappoints. Cocktails are a hit or miss. But I plan on working my way through the menu in hopes of discovering something I actually Love! I did have the most disgusting water downed whisky sour in my entire life even asked for a extra shot of Jamo and it still couldn't be saved. Lol. So I don't recommend that. Luckily the food is absolutely divine and I look forward to my next meal. $175 for 2 courses, 1 app, 3 cocktails and a shot. Highly recommend their shrimp for starters, its mouth watering.

I had a chance to stop by OURS on Atwell Ave earlier this year for my birthday. I really appreciated the effort they made to make the occasion special for me. Unfortunately, I can't recall her name, but the waitress was fantastic and very friendly. The restaurant has a very contemporary, almost Instagram-like vibe which works for some folks but isn't really my cup of tea. It included the signature grass wall with an LED sign. The food and drinks were very good. We ordered bottomless mimosas, and I had the Allo Vodka pasta. I think this is a very solid option for brunch with the girls!

We came in on Mothers Day and Laura was a server. She was awesome and very attentive the entire time. She made sure we had a GREAT time and didn't have to search for anything extra we needed.

What a awesome experience I had for Mother's Day at " OURS" favorite place! My waiter went above and beyond. We continue to travel here from our 30 miles the dine and enjoy the ambiance here because the waiters here are amazing... previously we were here for my sister's birthday it's her favorite place and our waiter Lena was amazing as well.. This place is amazing, from the food, music and the waiters really make the experience exceptional!

I can't believe it's taken me so long to leave a review for this hidden gem of a place. OURS is on located on Atwells in Providence, RI. I still to this day find myself craving it all the time. This place is so underrated, I was truly impressed. With its hookah, food, and drinks options, they had it all . If I lived closer, I'd definately be a regular here! During my visit, I got the steak mac & cheese, while my friend opted for the shrimp mac & cheese. We also sampled some sort of bread and what appeared to be hummus, but with a delightful twist of garlic that made it so delicious. When I asked what it was they said they make it in house. I can't stop raving about the flavors I experienced at OURS! Overall, this place was so unique and just such a memorable experience. I hope to one day come back!

Athena you're a girl boss. Green tea shots were fire. Get the bird cage, maybe not a coconut mojito though. Overall great experience thank you.

Perfect date night or girls night out spot been here over a dozen times to both of their locations side by side in sections, bar, outside and table. Great hookah and very unique drinks. Their food is mostly middle eastern inspired and finger foods but still great! The service is great just super busy on weekends but that's all of federal hill! Music range is typically R&B, hip hop, rap and Latin music. Great place for photos as well it's very Instagram aestheticly pleasing for the girls and guys.

They overcharged me and my girl ...they charged us for 13 drinks and 3 hookahs no way two people can drink 13 drinks and 3 hookahs in 2 hours ....when we complained and tried to ask for camera footage they denied us ...if we drank 13 drinks we would've passed out and I'm typing this after I left don't come to this scam place they will over charge you if they think you are drunk

I seen an amazing video on instagram and decided to give OURs a try in celebration of a goal I achieved. OURS was about an hour drive. There's a-lot of street parking available outside this restaurant and several other restaurants on the same street. The aesthetics inside OURs are pretty from the colors, and chandeliers however its super small and giving bar vibes. Food: started off with the OURs Wings ($14), these wings were soooo good, marinated well, with a touch of garlic sauce and parmesan cheese, the wings were a 10 out of 10. French fries ($6) were perfect, nice and crispy 10/10. Shawarma Mac & Cheese ($24) was so delicious, the chicken was seasoned really well and the mac and cheese was creamy. 10/10 Steak Schawarma ($20) the steak was a little dry however it was good 8/10 Drinks: Shirley Temple ($3) Ours Potion ($14), with this drink, i wanted what I seen on their IG real however I was informed that the video on IG had more pink dust/glitter than they actually make it. So they did not make it the way it was advertised on social media. Although this drink was really good, I believe they should have made it the way they advertised it. It looks better in their IG video Passionata With Casamigos ($16), really good. The only reason why I am rating OURS a 4 star instead of 5 is because when I made the reservation online, I specified that I would need a highchair. They have a system where your reservation isn't set until they confirm it. So by them confirming my reservation, I would assume that they had highchairs available. That wasn't the case when we arrived to OURS which was an hour drive from where we live. Although they didn't have any highchairs, my toddler was able to sit on the big chair with me constantly holding her onto the chair. We went at a good time where OURS wasn't busy so we decided to stay (especially after the long drive) however I wouldn't think this place a kid friendly just based on them not having any high chairs. Also, towards the end while heading to the restroom, I noticed OURs had another side which had a swing and seemed a lot bigger than the side we were in. I would definitely return to Ours on a night out with friends or a date night.

Somehow, despite having lived here for years and spending plenty of time around downtown…read moreProvidence, I had never been to The Eddy. I'm honestly not sure how I missed it, because this is exactly the kind of place I like finding. It is the true definition of a small cocktail bar. The space is tiny, intimate, and has a very specific atmosphere, so if you're looking for a big place with plenty of tables, this probably isn't it. If you're looking for a great cocktail in a cozy little bar, however, you're in the right place. The cocktail menu is excellent. There are a lot of creative options that go well beyond the standard collection of Old Fashioneds, Margaritas, and Martinis you'll find at most bars. The drinks are imaginative without becoming gimmicky, and the combinations we tried were really well balanced and interesting. You can tell there is some serious thought behind the cocktail program, and it makes ordering something new a lot of fun. Our waitress was fantastic as well. My wife ordered a drink that apparently isn't something every bartender is familiar with, so our waitress went back to the bartender to ask about it. The bartender immediately knew exactly what she was talking about, which was a nice little reminder that these people actually know their drinks. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience easy without hovering over us. The music deserves a mention, too. It was fantastic and fit the atmosphere perfectly. The Eddy has that comfortable, slightly dark cocktail-bar feeling where you can sit down, have a drink, listen to good music, and actually enjoy being there rather than feeling like you're sitting in a loud restaurant waiting for someone to bring you your check. My only real warning is that this place is genuinely small. That is part of its charm, but it also means getting in and finding a seat can be difficult at times, particularly when it's busy. You probably shouldn't show up with a large group expecting to immediately find a table. For two people looking for a couple of really good cocktails, though, it's pretty much ideal. The prices are also quite reasonable for the quality of the drinks. You're obviously paying cocktail-bar prices rather than dive-bar prices, but I didn't feel like we were being taken advantage of. Considering the creativity and quality of what we were drinking, I thought the prices were perfectly fair. I'm actually a little annoyed that I went this long without knowing The Eddy existed. Providence has so many cocktail bars that you can spend years here and still keep discovering places you've somehow walked past a hundred times. The Eddy is definitely going on the list of places we need to come back to, and we will 100% be back.

Most recently, I tried the "oyster shell martini" that featured gin, dry vermouth, riesling, oyster acid, & lemon oils. I loooove a savory, weird drink. I saw it & knew I needed to try it. Unfortunately, it was seriously imbalanced. It was wine heavy, with an extremely poisonous aftertaste that lingered forever & ever & ever. I would never order this again. The smoked fish dip came with crisp nori chips that were a little intense on their own for me, but perfect with a big scoop of the creamy, smoky dip.
