Came here for an impromptu date night! We ordered a wide variety of dishes including the Pad Prik Gaeng (green beans and chicken), Goong Ob Woon Sen (glass noodles and shrimp), and the Nahm Dok Neua (beef salad). Everything came to the table quickly and was piping hot! It was all so yummy but the glass noodles were definitely our favorite, very herbaceous. The service was really good and the staff was very attentive to our needs. -1 star only because we found the portions to be small for the price. Would definitely be back, maybe for happy hour next time :)

We end up going here bc the restaurant next door had too long of a wait. The place was empty inside and I was walking out to the patio to see I whether I wanted to sit indoors or out but the unfriendly hostess came out of no where and got very snarky with us saying that we needed to wait to be seated. (Obviously, we weren't going to seat ourselves!) Our server though, was very friendly and made up for the grouchy lady. We ordered fresh rolls and goong ob woonsen. The food seemed fine to me except the woonsen was too spicy for me (a wimp!) even though the description didn't say it would be spicy. I would have preferred the fresh rolls with other than tofu which was the only option. Inside, the music was a little loud. Outside tables that were available were not covered (no parasol etc) There was also a little section between inside and outside. A lot of seat choices.

Incredibly nice staff! Clean and entertaining atmosphere. Food was full of flavor and perfect textures. Thank you so much

A solid choice for Thai in a city that has many options. A homey vibe and the staff is friendly. I had pad see iew with tofu and broccoli. My preference is for food to be spicy. I asked for five stars/Thai Hot, which is supposed to signal that I know what I am getting into. This was two stars. A tasty dish and I finished it. I usually take home half from most restaurants. Your mileage may vary. Chilis in the picture courtesy of the spice plate that Thaiku provides, Many options on the menu for all tastes. Give it a try.

Came here with a few friends and it was busy on a Friday night. Probably waited 10 minutes to be seated outside. Ordered the appetizer pictured, a pork belly curry, papaya salad, crying tiger. Crying Tiger was a smaller portion than I expected. Papaya salad was pretty standard. The pork belly curry was really good. The ambiance outside was great. Good overall was really good.

I first heard about Thaiku from a former coworker. I was hesitant at first because too many Thai places in Seattle are Americanized, and my husband never liked Thai food before. We finally went one day and found this is one of the only authentic Thai restaurants in the area. Thaiku is the first Thai restaurant my husband has ever liked. We're hooked on the crying tiger. It's too bad they no longer have happy hour pricing because of the pandemic, but we're still willing to come here despite that because of the quality and flavors. So far I've tried all of the skewers (except tofu), khao soi, crying tiger, lahb, sai oua (sausage with peanuts). I'm not a big fan of salads, especially papaya and green mango ones, so I would recommend sticking to their more saucier dishes. My husband recommends their old fashioneds, which have great flavors and pack a punch.

The noodles were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor. They do spicy on a scale through five, we opted for four out of five for the noodles, I thought we could've gone even one spice level higher. For the curry, we did three out of five, and definitely could've done a spice level higher. The spice scale is definitely catered toward people who like less spicy food, so rest assured three or four is still fairly mild in spice. The quantity of the curry was actually quite small, however, the presentation was beautiful. It was also delicious in taste. Ambience: The restaurant is very ethnic and beautifully decorated. It is a great date spot. It's very clean, and food came out quickly. Service: Our server was incredibly professional and very polite. He gave great suggestions. I really appreciated that he went out of his way and got the spice jars for us to adjust the spice level of our food. Something else that I always give credit for is that they pack up any leftover food that you have. Phenomenal service.

PHAD SEE EIW - 16.50 + chicken This is my go-to dish at Thai restaurants since it's always a reliable option. Kin Len was no different. The noodles were soft and chewy, with a nice balance of savory and sweet flavors. They also don't skimp on the chicken or Chinese broccoli, which made this a pretty satisfying portion. BATTERED CHICKEN RED CURRY - 17.75 Wow! I'm not usually a fan of fried foods, but the batter on the chicken was surprisingly light and flaky. The red curry was incredibly savory and aromatic, with a ton of flavor. Even after sitting for about half an hour, the chicken held up pretty well despite becoming a bit soggy. This was incredibly tasty, and I'd highly recommend, especially since it's one of the dishes they're known for. Between the two dishes, this was more than enough food for two people, and I know my friend can eat! We probably would've been OK ordering just the battered chicken red curry, but I'm definitely not complaining about leftovers. The portions and pricing at Kin Len are both very reasonable, and I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the Fremont area.

I ordered the Lamb Massanam with Roti. It sounded delectable on the menu, and as a lamb enthusiast, I did not hesitate to order it. It was the worst lamb dish I've had in recent memory. At least in the Washington state area. It was practically inedible and way too overcooked. My friend also ordered the same dish, and we acknowledged each other in unison, shaking our heads in sheer disappointment. The broth was nice, and it was good pairing with the roti and white rice. But the lamb was a sheer and utter disaster. Way too overcooked and the meat tasted old. So sinewy and dry, and it had no resemblance of the lamb flavor. Maybe it was a bad batch, sure. But I left the restaurant feeling so dissatisfied and angry that I paid that much for a poorly executed dish. That lamb was not good at all. 2 stars, just because I feel like the other dishes probably met expectations. But wow, what a disappointment.
