Ok, so I've been here 3 times. It was recommended to me from a family member who lives in the area. I was never WOWED by the food but also never had a horrible experience with services or quality. My last visit unfortunately was probably just that, my last. Although nothing extremely terrible, I just have other places I prefer. My typical go to dish is Panang curry and drunken noodles or pad see ew. The curry was good and veggies seemed really fresh. Thai Table Time is quickly becoming my favorite Thai spot! I've tried different spots all over North County over the past several years and TTT is one of the very few that has remained consistently excellent in food quality, price and overall experience. Located in a semi sketch-looking strip mall next to a dive bar off Oceanside Boulevard, it definitely isn't one of those places that draws you in off the street. However, I prefer it that way because it's constantly busy every time I go. The last time we dined in, every table in the already small dining area was seated and there was a line of at least 5 groups waiting to place orders at the register or be seated. My go-to dishes are the Spicy Noodle with mock duck and the Panang Curry with soft tofu. Everything else I've tried has been delicious as well. The portions are always generous however there are hardly ever any leftovers between my husband and I because we can't resist polishing off both dishes. We ordered takeout from Thai Table Time a couple of nights ago for my birthday eve dinner/I-don't-feel-like-cooking-in-quarantine-tonight and I am already craving it again. A friend brought me here for dinner, and I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next week for lunch. It's in a sketchy-looking strip mall, but don't let the exterior fool you. The food inside is delicious. I got the pad see ew on my first visit, and was delighted that it included so much broccoli and tofu. Gotta love it when restaurants are generous with the vegetables and protein. The sauce was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but overall delicious. The second time I got spicy noodles, and those were good too. The lunch special is a couple dollars less than the regular price, but the portions are much smaller. You do get a spring roll, salad, and soup, but they weren't as delicious and came in very small amounts. I think I'd rather just spring for the larger meal size. I should also add that they were great with our toddler. They brought a high chair right over, and when we asked for water for ourselves, they brought a cute plastic kid cup and straw over for him. Tasty little hole in the wall restaurant. I'd actually driven by this place a ton of times but never tried it. I'm glad I did! Staff was friendly and they answered questions about ingredients as we needed to make sure they could veganize some dishes. I had the spicy basil eggplant with mock duck which was pretty spicy and good (I asked for a level 7 but felt like it was a lot spicier than most Thai places). My hubby got the pad Thai and although he enjoyed it, he said he liked my dish better. The sauce looked a lot different than we are accustomed to. He said it wasn't his favorite place for pad Thai. We appreciated that they were able to customize for a vegan diet. It was a little warmer inside than I would have liked. I'm sure the heat from the kitchen keeps it warm plus the temps outside. Small seating are with roughly 9 tables inside. More recently, we ordered take-out. This time hubby had the spicy basil eggplant with mock duck and I had the Massaman curry with fried tofu ( consisted of peanuts, potatoes, carrots, onions, +your choice of meat). It was really good and they didn't skimp on the curry sauce, just wish it had more veggies so I wouldn't have to get rid of all that leftover sauce. I also ordered brown rice and I will say it is unlike the traditional brown rice I've had. Not sure if it's sprouted brown rice or what, but it certainly is more textured and filling than traditional brown rice. We'll definitely be back. When we arrived we were treated by a gentlemen named Greg! To be honest this guy probably has the best service I have ever been to. Even at these Michelin Star restaurants. Ordered a couple dishes pad see ew, beef jerky, Tom yum soup, and pad prick khing. All dishes was phenomenal and so tasty. But when it came down to pad prick khing you get to choose your spicy level. A lot of places I went to always let's me down when I ask for the spicy they can make it. But when I asked Greg to make a spicy he was like, "I got you, I'll make it a level 15. Just the way my mom makes it for me. Now this dish would be made by someone that knows how to cook. (His mom)." When the dishes came out my mouth started drooling none stop. I didn't hesitate to find what to order, because at any Thai restaurant I would start with a "Pad See Ew". Thai Table didn't disappoint me with my favorite dish. It costs around $10. The egg noodles were chewy and the chicken pieces were meaty. Also it's topped with broccoli and carrots. The servings on the plate was decent. Overall, this choice was tastiness to the T, it was flavorful, especially the addition of the crispy garlic chips on them. Tastiness did not end there when we got their "Tiger Cry" ($10.95). It's marinated bbq beef steak. Along with its flavorful taste the sauce it did have a peppered kick. The meats were neatly cut, which makes them easier to eat. This is a must try in their menu. We really like the customer service here. The staff member who helped us was accommodating. She help set up our son's car seat to make room prior to seating. And throughout the experience our server was attentive making sure that everything was okay. She even gave us a thank you as we walked out.
