We came here after a recommendation from a friend and WOW. Nestled between a vape shop and a bar, this little gem of a Thai place is the definition of hole in the wall. Let's just say we were hangry and ate too fast and forgot to take pics of the food. We ordered the papaya salad, one of the noodles dishes, tom kha soup, and a veggie beef rice dish. All of it was delicious and we had leftovers for breakfast! It's family operated and they were all really nice. Great service and authentic Thai vibes. My god this place does food so well, the portions are so generous and the flavor is out of this world. Owned by the cutest family and someone's aunty/ uncle is in that kitchen throwing down some absolute fire! This is a great little Thai restaurant with some pretty good dishes. We ordered the following dishes: 1) Glass Noodle Salad was super flavorful and it really hit my Thai salad craving. A great dish to share! 2) Pad Prink Khing. My cousin chose this dish bcs she's had it before at the restaurant and thinks it's pretty authentic. It was my first time having this dish and I loved it! I will definitely be looking for this dish at other Thai restaurants in the future. 3) Pork with Basil. Not what I'm use to so it was disappointing. Too much random vegetables made it more like a "chop suey" and you couldn't taste much of the basil. The pork was well cooked and vegetables were fresh. 4) Pad Thai. I liked that they used the skinnier noodles bcs usually it's the thicker noodles. It saucier than I prefer and bcs of that the noodles weren't as "al dente". The flavor and taste was still good though. 5) Duck curry. No picture bcs they forgot about this dish & when they brought it out, we just tried it and forgot to take a photo. I thought it was ok. I felt like there was no strong curry or coconut flavor that I was expecting. I felt like the duck was not fresh but like day old or something. I wouldn't order it again but my cousin's husband loved it. 6) Thai ice coffee is bigger than most restaurants and stronger (ie. Less evaporated milk). I had to have them add more milk but still could've used more. I enjoyed it nonetheless and next time would really like to try the Thai Ice tea. I AM ONLY REVIEWING ONE DISH AND THIS ONE EXPERIENCE I was really hoping to find this Thai restaurant to be great. The people were very nice. I ordered two orders of Kua Gai. I've had this dish from many places in Los Angeles area and from another Thai restaurant in the San Luis Rey valley. To me, the wide rice noodles and tender chicken are the stars of this savory dish. As it turned out, there was more than enough chicken. In fact my brother came to me and said "It's all chicken." The problems for me were the chicken was dry and not tender. I actually picked it all out and threw it ALL away. Not one tender piece in the bunch. The noodles were overcooked to the point of being mush. The flavor was okay but it didn't make up for these deficiencies. I told them I didn't want it overly spicy and requested sweet and sour sauce on the side. I think they took that as instruction to make it sweet when they made it. It turned out too sweet without added sweet and sour sauce. I like the sweet and sour sauce to balance the savory. There was no savory. PS My brother came in this morning to reimburse me and I told him I couldn't take his money because the food was so lousy. He agreed on all the same points. PS I just reaheated it and it is much tastier the next daY WITHOUT THE CHICKEN. read more

My favorite Thai restaurant has to be Thai Table Time in Oceanside. They are always so hospitable, the place is clean as can be and the food is great. My husband loves their Spicy Eggplant with Shrimp, and Tofu Pad Thai is so flavorful and on the lunch menu I got soup, an eggroll, a peanut sauce dressed salad and a juicy orange segment. An unassuming location which isn't my favorite for those going out nights (kinda sketch), BUT the food is amazingly delicious across the board. Family owed and run. Always the best in Oceanside! They use fresh vegetables instead of frozen that other Restaurants use. Their flavor points are right on with lots of depth and layering. What a wonderful surprise to find this little restaurant in the most unassuming strip mall just off the 5 fwy in Oceanside. A little Gem indeed! Probably ranks as one of the best Thai restaurant's I've ever been to. Shortly after we arrived all tables were occupied. Was hoping my hunch was correct, that we would be in for a treat and was I pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Our meal started off with the delicious spring rolls. Crispy lettuce, fresh shrimp, noodles and tofu presented with both peanut and sweet sauce. Delicious! Then the fried tofu. I didn't sample this dish although my hubby and grandson highly approved. The chicken satay was devoured before I snapped a pic, so that about describes flavor in the dish. The pad Thai noodles were a delightful combination of sweet and sour with a delicious vegan mock duck, a lime wedge added just the right touch. The pad See ewe with veggies and requested steamed tofu was so flavorful, the broccoli tender crisp and the carrots just right. We ordered sticky rice and mango for dessert which was equally yummy. They have the regular Thai food entrees but also have other entrees too. Each bite is savory and full of flavor. The Thai tea is also super delicious as they make it for you when you arrive. The taste and portions are spot on for the price. The wait times for ordering take out is about 15-20 mins. Customer service is also friendly, patient, and polite. Parking is shared with the rest of the shopping strip/center and overall, the restaurant can be easy to miss if you are not looking hard enough. The interior is clean and small. It has Asian decor sprinkled around the indoor seating area. Yes, there is indoor seating (with mask) but there are no outdoor seating.
