The food is consistently fresh and flavorful without hiding by being overly spicy. I usually go for the cashew chicken, and my wife's favorite is the shrimp pad Thai -- both have been reliably good. We probably order from here about few times a month, which for us is a pretty good endorsement. The staff has always been friendly and easy to deal with, whether we're dining in or picking up. The ambiance inside is nice but simple -- nothing fancy, just a comfortable, relaxed spot to enjoy a meal. However, their new paper bags are not as durable as the former ones. The former bags were much thicker, while the current ones are very thin. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao for $20 and asked for a spice level 9. After driving over 20 minutes to get there, I was really looking forward to it. Sadly, the dish fell short. It lacked flavor overall, and there wasn't even a hint of spice, which was surprising given the level I requested. They were also not generous with sauces. Considering how expensive the dishes are, receiving only one small sauce packet and a very small cup of sauce felt underwhelming and not proportional to the price. We've been here twice because it's a bit out of the way but hands down the best Thai food I've ever had!! The staff here are all super sweet as well. The restaurant is located in a spacious plaza, I've never had trouble with parking. The ambiance is dark and relaxing, perfect for a nice date night with very few people eating in the restaurant. First, clean place, good service. But the food is inconsistant and from one day to the next the same dish might taste slightly different. Example, drunken noodles. One day it has the good taste of a strong flavorful wok, another day it is bland without the "wok" sear I appreciated the first time. The food here is very good. The curry is tasty and the spring rolls were hot and crispy. The place gets busy, but the food comes out quickly. The only complaint I have is for the waitress to slow down. They get in such a hurry it really creates a negative atmosphere. The waitress was rushing around for no reason and spilled the ice water while filling the glasses. It went everywhere under our table as well as our clothes and shoes. Yes, it was just water which is no big deal and she came back and cleaned it all up which is also fine, but so much rushing and hurrying and running around like a sprayed roach is really stressful to endure while trying to enjoy a meal. Tried this place for the first time this afternoon. Fresh! Quality, Abundance. Had the pineapple curry with coconut milk and shrimp. The huge bowl had a generous amount of large shrimp (7). Also red bell peppers and basil. I asked for noodles instead of rice because, I like rice, but it doesn't love me. Also asked for it to be mild, because i am a whimp. They accommodated both requests. This is a favorite dessert of ours and this one was literally the best we've ever had. Stopped by here while going to get my tires worked on down Mission, and I'm super glad I did. I love Thai food, but this place made me into a new loyal customer. It's got a very quaint and relaxed charm to it. You certainly don't feel like you're off Mission & El Camino, and the mood inside is perfect for enjoying a nice lunch or dinner. The service and overall staff were far above average. I never felt pressured to do anything, and she was more than happy to answer any of my questions. Plus, the smile she gave when I asked for spicy level 10 made me feel right at home. Overall, I'll be doing most if not all of my Thai food here from now on. We got takeout with high hopes. However, our noodle dishes were very dry and bland. We had to add sauce at home which is not what I wanted when spending money on takeout. I ordered a 1 spice on a drunken noodle and the noodles were almost white with no flavor at all. Usually a 1 gets me some flavor with a tiny hint of spice but this was nothing. Super disappointed. The spring rolls and peanut sauce were delicious and I gave 2 stars because I do love their online ordering system.
