I paid $46 for tinny portions of food it is a complete rip and the food isn't that great.

Made it back and was able to order the Thai basil fried rice that I had been wanting to try. I don't make a lot of good decisions, but I think this one is among the best. The fried rice was everything I thought it would be. I love Asian places that serve enough fried rice to where the dish can be a meal on its own. I recall almost having to request for a takeout container because I was so full! As for flavor, heavenly spicy. There was a sliver of grease, but it wasn't a big deal. I got what I came for. I think I'll get it with chicken next time. Oh, I can't forget about the chicken satay. It served as a solid entree. The meat was juicy, tender and plentiful. Of course, the great taste was augmented by the peanut sauce on the side. My previous rating for TS was a four, with a likelihood of being bumped to five. So here we are!

We wanted a quick lunch and we got it. We were the first patrons since they opened at 11a. Place was clean and didn't have a bad smell to it. I liked the pictures on one of the wall with the different type of noodles. Sometimes you don't know the difference. On with the food/ we ordered the summer soft roll to start, I had the Tom yum chicken soup for another dish to try, chicken curry noodle soup for my daughter and I ordered Thai basil fried rice with beef. Excellent. Came out perfectly timed and all well seasoned. I finished it all. My daughter's noodle soup was just spicy enough and not overly noodles. I don't like it when there's not enough other stuff and just noodles. Perfect mix and perfect spiced. I would've eaten all of my rice but wanted to keep some as a snack for later. The soup was the best and the yummiest. Def recommend if you are in town and enjoy Thai food. Price is good and not expensive at all.

I came back to Thai Spice recently, I am glad that the service and quality of food hasn't diminished at all. The staff are wonderful, the atmosphere is family friendly, and their food is amazing. It's clean inside, there's enough space for a large family to seat in, and I love their original artwork. Thai Spice serve you some egg rolls, with the soup of the day, and a small salad on the side. The salad contains peanut dressing, so if you're allergic, you may have to eat your salad dry. Thai Spice have some of the greatest noodle bowls and curry rice dishes I've ever had. Everything was served hot and the presentation was spot on. I'd come back here anytime.

I just don't understand why this place doesn't have more business. I've frequented here for lunch as well as dinner and the place never seems to have more than three tables occupied. The Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Pineapple Fried Rice and Angel Wings are my go to. Always consistently great! The service here is super fast and friendly. I'm always greeted immediately upon arriving and seated promptly. The food comes out very quickly. The Angel Wings (appetizer) have this awesome sauce that I keep to put on my Pad Thai or Rice. The Pad Thai at Level 3 spicy is perfect. I usually opt for the chicken. Always tender.

I had the lo mein lunch special. The food was unattractive and tasteless. The mini egg rolls were hard to chew. Very disappointed!

This is one of my favorites as far as the big chain ramen bars go. When it comes to tonkotsu ramen,…read morethe broth is the star of the show, and Jinya comes in swinging with a rich, flavorful pork broth that's hard to beat. They also have different spice levels, which I'm always glad to turn up the heat on. While the broth is up there near my favorites, it would be nice if they were more generous with the toppings. This particular restaurant itself is a bit on the small side though. Only 3 or 4 normal tables before they'll have to put you at the bar. Even then, there's not a lot of space, and things will get very crowded during peak hours.

What once started out as a gem within the Nasa area is now a mere shadow of itself. Service was…read morefine, but I'm just not impressed with what should be the staple of a ramen restaurant--the ramen. Let's clap our hands for the pretty solid appetizers. Not at all mad about the gigantic, juicy, crunchy pieces of karaage or the reheated and dressed takoyaki (yes, wisdom teaches you things, and there's no way a restaurant can reproduce takoyaki [from scratch] that perfectly when they cant even maintain quality on their staple), but as happy as I am with the chicken, I will make the suggestion to bring back the spicy mayo and to keep the lemons on the plate. Although my partner didn't show it and said it was fine, it was obvious she was disappointed that she didn't receive a Demon Slayer soup spoon from ordering the monthly special since they were out of stock (waiter says there is no guarantee the spoons will restock). The promotion is set to end sometime in February, but I might take another long break from Jinya, again. I got the tried and true Jinya tonkotsu black, which was served with chewy (yes, chewy) pieces of pork chashu. I also noticed the wife only ate her toppings from her chicken yatai ramen and offered to trade her since I was mostly happy with mine. Wow, the monthly special, chicken yatai was super bland. I voiced my complaints about the yatai that was barely eaten and that the chashu was not rendered enough. He said he would let the manager know, who offered a complimentary ice cream mochi (ok, these werent bad). Ambiance: casual, loud with my type of music (pops, edm). The hard truth: not a place I could recommend to friends at this moment. Glad the owner is doing so well in this area and would highly recommend sister restaurants, but there's a glaring need for quality control here and maybe a bit more accountability is needed. Looks like I have some old pictures still uploaded, so I'll just go ahead and leave them in the post, but just take my word that the tonkotsu black still looks the same and the chicken and takoyaki are indeed as pretty as they are scrumptious.

The Bún Bò Huế lacked the traditional rich flavor I'm used to, but it tasted clean and wasn't oily. It also didn't include the traditional pork blood, but mixing in shrimp paste, lime, fish sauce, and chili helped bring it closer to the authentic flavor. The food stayed hot in the metal bowl which was nice. The Bò Lúc Lắc arrived hot and sizzling, just as advertised. The beef was flavorful and cooked well. One thing to note is that it came with white rice rather than the fried rice shown on the menu description. The food was good, and I'd probably come back, but I'd try a different location because the service at this one was disappointing and ruined the experience. Andrew was very helpful, but the other two employees spent most of the time on their phones with their backs turned toward the dining room, making it difficult to get their attention. We had to get up ourselves to ask for a water refill. While in the middle of eating, one of the girls brought our check and said, "Whenever you're ready, no rush." It felt like we were being rushed out while I was still actively eating and it wasn't busy. What was especially disappointing was that she never asked how our food was or whether we wanted to order anything else before closing out our tab. I had planned on ordering a drink after my meal, but after that experience, I decided I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service left a lot to be desired. Better hospitality would have made a big difference.

This place continues to be my family's top hot pot spot, even after going to many locations in the greater Houston area simply due to the soup bases being so incredibly strong and the selection of ingredients always being top notch. The only things I have food-wise about this place are the following: 1. I think the meat selection is often inconsistent. Sometimes I will order the number 3 and 4 and it'll be really good, and other times it will be hard to eat. 2. I think that the noodle selection is missing like a handmade and hand pulled noodle. The closest thing currently is the lo mein, which I really like, but I'm still wanting more options. 3. Often, the sauce stations will have some empty bottles on the side, which is often inconvenient since I tend to add most if not all to my sauce. Other than that, the service this time was much better and much more on top of it. I will most definitely head back here again and again. Like I said in the beginning, WE ARE SO BACK!
