Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp, and it was absolutely disgusting. The rice was COMPLETE MUSH, and the pineapple had a metallic aftertaste. I flagged it right away and asked if it could be remade with noodles. No effort was made to accommodate me. I was on a working lunch, so I tried to make the best of it. All I managed to eat was the shrimp. I left virtually the entire plate of rice. When I asked for the check, I explained again that the meal was unacceptable. The response was about10% off. Roughly a dollar and some change on a 19.47 bill, bringing it down to 17.53. Then, as she handed me the receipt, the server remarked, "I gave you 10% off since you don't like the way we cook." The tone was sarcastic and dismissive. I paid because I wasn't looking for a free meal, but I did not tip. I expected edible food and basic respect. Instead, I got bad food and attitude. Stopped by to place a to go order. Staff was polite and helpful, available to answer any questions I had. I like that this restaurant has an extensive menu with a lot to choose from. It's also vegetarian friendly because there are vegetable dishes and tofu is one of the protein choices. There were a lot of things on the menu that I wanted to try but this time I decided on the garlic eggplant with chicken and egg drop soup. Made it back and was able to order the Thai basil fried rice that I had been wanting to try. I don't make a lot of good decisions, but I think this one is among the best. The fried rice was everything I thought it would be. I love Asian places that serve enough fried rice to where the dish can be a meal on its own. I recall almost having to request for a takeout container because I was so full! As for flavor, heavenly spicy. There was a sliver of grease, but it wasn't a big deal. I got what I came for. I think I'll get it with chicken next time. Oh, I can't forget about the chicken satay. It served as a solid entree. The meat was juicy, tender and plentiful. I liked the pictures on one of the wall with the different type of noodles. Sometimes you don't know the difference. On with the food/ we ordered the summer soft roll to start, I had the Tom yum chicken soup for another dish to try, chicken curry noodle soup for my daughter and I ordered Thai basil fried rice with beef. Excellent. Came out perfectly timed and all well seasoned. I finished it all. My daughter's noodle soup was just spicy enough and not overly noodles. I don't like it when there's not enough other stuff and just noodles. Perfect mix and perfect spiced. I would've eaten all of my rice but wanted to keep some as a snack for later. They are always very attentive, welcoming, and friendly. The restaurant is always very clean. There are lots of tables for patrons. The food is always flavorful. They serve shareable portions or enough so you can eat and take the rest home. I came back to Thai Spice recently, I am glad that the service and quality of food hasn't diminished at all. The staff are wonderful, the atmosphere is family friendly, and their food is amazing. It's clean inside, there's enough space for a large family to seat in, and I love their original artwork. Thai Spice serve you some egg rolls, with the soup of the day, and a small salad on the side. The salad contains peanut dressing, so if you're allergic, you may have to eat your salad dry. Thai Spice have some of the greatest noodle bowls and curry rice dishes I've ever had. This review is for today's disappointing soup. When they say it has lemongrass, they put the whole chopped up stalk today, making it really hard to spoon my soup. I pointed it out to the waitress who didnt think anything was wrong. I had same soup a week ago and it was excellent. So it will be a russian roulette game when it comes to consistency. I just don't understand why this place doesn't have more business. I've frequented here for lunch as well as dinner and the place never seems to have more than three tables occupied. The Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Pineapple Fried Rice and Angel Wings are my go to. Always consistently great! The service here is super fast and friendly. The salad dressing was a bit off I'm consistency and it was the most basic side salad ever. The soup was a cabbage soup, which I definitely wasn't expecting and didn't enjoy. Garlic Eggplant (7/10): I love the texture of the sauteed eggplant; semi soft but yet still sturdy. The eggplant is mixed with your choice of meat (or tofu in my case) with black bean sauce. The black bean sauce is not American black bean in a puree form so don't be alarmed. The sauce is made from fermented black soybean mixed with other special seasonings. This sauce is used in a lot of Chinese dishes. My only complaint is that the sauce was too sweet for my liking. My solution was to add chili oil to this dish to balance out the sweetness. I will be coming back to try more of the items on their menu. The portion is big here so you will probably end up taking home some of your leftover. It's also BYOB!!! read more

Ordered Togo from here it was 20$ extra to get it delivered so we decided to pick it up which is no problem. I always order the same plate from every Thai place and I know the spice levels. I put in the order that I wanted a 2 they gave me a 5 went back to get it fixed they said it would be 5-10mins to make a new one. They came out with a "new" plate literally a minute after. It looked like they tried to just wash the spice off there was water everywhere in the box and the food was now soggy and dripping. The girl walked away from the truck and laughed. Next time, I'll g down to level 4. It was good, but I was sweating. I had ordered a level 3 on my entree on our first visit and wanted more. They certainly did warn me, lol.
