Came here for lunch with my family who was visiting from out of town, and we ordered a bunch of dishes to eat family style. It was absolutely delicious! I felt like the food was flavorful without being "heavy", which can be a struggle at some other Thai restaurants. The service was fast and attentive - all of these dishes came out within 10 minutes of us ordering them!

Panang Curry - Chicken

Mike & Rox: meh. Asked for highest level of spice and it was barely spicy. Little too sweet as well.

Probably my favorite Thai restaurant in League City! We frequent both locations and both have great food and reasonable prices. Our usual go to dishes are the panang curry, drunken noodles, and Thai basil dishes. Sit down service is very timely for a quick lunch as well.

This hidden gem is tucked away in a quiet shopping center off NASA parkway. I was very impressed with the portions of their dishes. The inside is pretty dark, decorated well and the staff is attentive to your table. It's a small restaurant that gets packed pretty quickly on weekends. This is going to be a to go for quick Thai food now'

This is a beautiful Thai restaurant that serves fresh food and house made noodles. We had extremely friendly and quick service this evening. I always recommend Thai Stellar to my friends.

Tom Yum soup

We brought my sister-in-law here for her birthday. We ordered the Peany Curry, Pad Thai, and Drunken Noodles & all were served with Tom Yum soup and crispy wonton skins with a sauce drizzled over them. Each item was delicious, fresh tasting ingredients and beautifully balanced flavors. The service was courteous and efficient. The decor was pleasant. I was only dismayed by the two large fans in the dining room that were very noisy and made conversation a bit strained. My SIL was delighted with the meal and service, as we were, too.

What a fitting name because Thai stellar is quite stellar. We found an amazing restaurant today and we will definitely be back here for many more meals. They have quite the menu and we are looking forward to trying this place ASAP again. Food: we started off with some egg rolls and let me tell you what, they're cooked fresh to order. Full of flavor and very tasty. The sauce that came with them was so good. Next main course. I went with the drunken noodle and it was absolutely amazing. The beef was tender and had so much flavor. So many vegetables with flavor oh my God it was an amazing meal. My girlfriend had the sweet-and-sour chicken and let me tell you what it was absolutely amazing. I've never seen that dish on any other time menu before. The sauce was exceptionally good. We also got some dessert which was the deep-fried banana with ice cream. Oh my God absolutely amazing. This place is a true hidden gem. I cannot wait to come back and try more things off their menu. The customer service is exceptionally good as well. Also, we really like the interior decor. All of these different movie posters and differentthings of Thailand. This is a very unique great restaurant. We will continue to come here for many years. I am very pleased with this restaurant. Thanks again for an amazing experience.

Man the food here is so good and so is the service. Whenever I'm feeling down Thai food, this is where I will be. The food is always perfection. The service can't be beat. Parking is plentiful. And when you're sitting there eating, you will see a ton of to go orders too. I haven't had a bad meal here and I've been here a lot!!

Arrive in Houston late and with only a few minutes before closing ordered take out from Thai Stellar. They quickly took my order and it was ready by the time I arrived from the airport. They were closing at the time but I'm sure during regular hours the restaurant has a cozy ambiance. Now the food - pad Thai (chef's kiss), papaya salad (outstanding), dumplings (superb) and steamed veggies. Everything, everything was great. I even recommended this spot to my colleagues during my travel. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

Beef Pad Thai, Pineapple Curry

Service was outstanding and restaurant was very clean. We ordered the lunch beef Pad Thai and Pineapple Curry and it was absolutely phenomenal. They brought out soup and won tons as an appetizer on the house. 10/10 recommend!

I enjoyed this place. It is close to home for me. My son and I got the pad Thai. He had shrimp and I had chicken and they were both really good. I asked for my food to be a little spicy but not too spicy and the server recommended a 2. I thought I can handle more than that but I'm glad I got a 2. It was still with a nice spice. My dad got the seafood salad and didn't care for the octopus in it. My bestie got the drunken noodles and liked hers. We also got the Thai dumplings and those were good. All of our meals minus the salad came with a little soup and some fried wontons with sweet chili sauce on them. I really liked those. I love that they had unsweetened Thai tea and I enjoyed the mango and sticky rice. I will definitely be back here to try some of their other menu items. The menu was a good size, with lots of options. Restaurant is in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Ambiance was kinda basic, there weren't that many people inside but they were closing soon.

Smells amazin !!

Ask the Community - Thai Stellar

This location is closed 3-5 weekdays fyi.?

Yes. Starting 12/21/21.

Hello, I wonder if you do party order. For example I want to order a large portion of Pad Thai for my party, about $100 worth?

These are quite entrepreneurial, customercentric folks...I am quite confident they will accommodate such a proposal.

Does anyone know if they have gift cards/gift certificates? It's not mentioned on their web site.

Yes they do.

Merlion was super busy yet the service was surprisingly attentive from the entire staff despite having to park several blocks over due to the crowd! I actually came back to update this review to give a shout out to our waiter Bryan. He's been our waiter the last 5 or so visits regardless of when we come or what part of the restaurant we sit in, and he somehow manages to elevate the already fantastic experience we have. He's insightful on the menu without being pushy, remembers our unique requests, checks in on us without being too much, and strikes a great balance on engagement without intruding. My husband ordered the Drunken Noodles with no eggs level 6 and I ordered a Pad Thai with a level 5 spice. Food: 3.5/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 Food- Wide selection of dishes, with very differing qualities of taste. Here's my thoughts on each dish we ordered: 1. Roti- Tasted good, and the curry served with it was light yet flavorful, but the Roti was NOT Roti, being deep fried for way too long, resulting in a crispy almost fall apart texture that still tasted good, but didn't satisfy the craving for Roti 2. Chicken Wings- Enjoyable, but felt too salty to eat any more than two pieces per person. 3. Pad Thai- Really saucy for a pad Thai and leaned way too hard on fish sauce for the flavor, resulting in a smell that was strong and not reminiscent of what pad Thai should smell like. 4. Avocado Curry- Solid dish with great depth of flavor, could've had more beef though 5. Shrimp Fried Rice- Standout of the night. Great flavor that is unlike any other rice that I've had before. 6. Khao Soi- Really enjoyed this one too! The fried noodles taste almost pretzel-like to me, and the overall balance of flavors were great. 7. Mango Sticky Rice- A little bit pricy, but was incredibly refreshing and flavorful. There were quite a few misses this time around, with the appetizers we ordered and the Pad Thai either being middle-of-the-road or lower, but the fried rice, Khao Soi, Avocado Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice being great. Service/Ambiance- Great! No complaints on this visit. The interior still feels modern and casual, and our waitress was very kind to us whenever taking our orders. I do miss the old establishment that was here (Thai Cottage) but Eat Thai still serves up a good experience that encapsulates the staples of Thai food with some nice surprises.

The experience was --- interesting. As is common with tasting menu restaurants, there was a story to go with each dish presented. Also as common with this sort of thing, some dishes were better than others, and many were just okay. At $150 per person, it was on the expensive side, and I question whether it was worth that. Perhaps $100 would have been appropriate. A wine/cocktail option was offered for something like an additional $125, but everyone declined. We were filled to excess by the food, and found it difficult to imagine having space for drinks on top of that. An interesting experience, but we are unlikely to return at this price point. I think that I have decided that tasting menus just aren't my cup of tea, and I really prefer to go to a place where I can select exactly what I want.
