I paid $46 for tinny portions of food it is a complete rip and the food isn't that great.

Made it back and was able to order the Thai basil fried rice that I had been wanting to try. I don't make a lot of good decisions, but I think this one is among the best. The fried rice was everything I thought it would be. I love Asian places that serve enough fried rice to where the dish can be a meal on its own. I recall almost having to request for a takeout container because I was so full! As for flavor, heavenly spicy. There was a sliver of grease, but it wasn't a big deal. I got what I came for. I think I'll get it with chicken next time. Oh, I can't forget about the chicken satay. It served as a solid entree. The meat was juicy, tender and plentiful. Of course, the great taste was augmented by the peanut sauce on the side. My previous rating for TS was a four, with a likelihood of being bumped to five. So here we are!

We wanted a quick lunch and we got it. We were the first patrons since they opened at 11a. Place was clean and didn't have a bad smell to it. I liked the pictures on one of the wall with the different type of noodles. Sometimes you don't know the difference. On with the food/ we ordered the summer soft roll to start, I had the Tom yum chicken soup for another dish to try, chicken curry noodle soup for my daughter and I ordered Thai basil fried rice with beef. Excellent. Came out perfectly timed and all well seasoned. I finished it all. My daughter's noodle soup was just spicy enough and not overly noodles. I don't like it when there's not enough other stuff and just noodles. Perfect mix and perfect spiced. I would've eaten all of my rice but wanted to keep some as a snack for later. The soup was the best and the yummiest. Def recommend if you are in town and enjoy Thai food. Price is good and not expensive at all.

I came back to Thai Spice recently, I am glad that the service and quality of food hasn't diminished at all. The staff are wonderful, the atmosphere is family friendly, and their food is amazing. It's clean inside, there's enough space for a large family to seat in, and I love their original artwork. Thai Spice serve you some egg rolls, with the soup of the day, and a small salad on the side. The salad contains peanut dressing, so if you're allergic, you may have to eat your salad dry. Thai Spice have some of the greatest noodle bowls and curry rice dishes I've ever had. Everything was served hot and the presentation was spot on. I'd come back here anytime.

I just don't understand why this place doesn't have more business. I've frequented here for lunch as well as dinner and the place never seems to have more than three tables occupied. The Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Pineapple Fried Rice and Angel Wings are my go to. Always consistently great! The service here is super fast and friendly. I'm always greeted immediately upon arriving and seated promptly. The food comes out very quickly. The Angel Wings (appetizer) have this awesome sauce that I keep to put on my Pad Thai or Rice. The Pad Thai at Level 3 spicy is perfect. I usually opt for the chicken. Always tender.

Chicken pad Thai (I ate one egg roll already - it was good, but cold)

I had pad see ew. It was solid, and a good portion of food. The tables are nice, they seem like real wood. No complaints from me.

Merlion was super busy yet the service was surprisingly attentive from the entire staff despite having to park several blocks over due to the crowd! I actually came back to update this review to give a shout out to our waiter Bryan. He's been our waiter the last 5 or so visits regardless of when we come or what part of the restaurant we sit in, and he somehow manages to elevate the already fantastic experience we have. He's insightful on the menu without being pushy, remembers our unique requests, checks in on us without being too much, and strikes a great balance on engagement without intruding. I haven't been writing as many reviews as of late but Bryan's service had me dusting off the old digital keyboard. All that to say thanks Merlion, I'd say never change but over the years every change yall have made has been for the better!

We are celebrating an anniversary and when we arrived there was fresh rose pedals and once again, our server/bartender Mj asked us some simple Questions and managed to serve us one of the most incredible cocktails I have ever had. I can't believe it took me this long to get here. 10/10 will be back. Honestly thinking about extending our trip just to hit this gem of a spot - especially if Monique Juliet is there. - that's a solid service folk right there. 10/10 will be back Merlion, you've done great in hitting competent staff. Highly recommend

My husband ordered the Drunken Noodles with no eggs level 6 and I ordered a Pad Thai with a level 5 spice. Our orders came and whoa, their level 5 is no joke! the server warned me but I tend to go middle of the road at most places. The food was delicious and even my husband who never says things are more than "good" said it was delicious and it was his first Thai experience. We'd definitely be back!

Food: 3.5/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 Food- Wide selection of dishes, with very differing qualities of taste. Here's my thoughts on each dish we ordered: 1. Roti- Tasted good, and the curry served with it was light yet flavorful, but the Roti was NOT Roti, being deep fried for way too long, resulting in a crispy almost fall apart texture that still tasted good, but didn't satisfy the craving for Roti 2. Chicken Wings- Enjoyable, but felt too salty to eat any more than two pieces per person. 3. Pad Thai- Really saucy for a pad Thai and leaned way too hard on fish sauce for the flavor, resulting in a smell that was strong and not reminiscent of what pad Thai should smell like. 4. Avocado Curry- Solid dish with great depth of flavor, could've had more beef though 5. Shrimp Fried Rice- Standout of the night. Great flavor that is unlike any other rice that I've had before. 6. Khao Soi- Really enjoyed this one too! The fried noodles taste almost pretzel-like to me, and the overall balance of flavors were great. 7. Mango Sticky Rice- A little bit pricy, but was incredibly refreshing and flavorful. There were quite a few misses this time around, with the appetizers we ordered and the Pad Thai either being middle-of-the-road or lower, but the fried rice, Khao Soi, Avocado Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice being great. Service/Ambiance- Great! No complaints on this visit. The interior still feels modern and casual, and our waitress was very kind to us whenever taking our orders. I do miss the old establishment that was here (Thai Cottage) but Eat Thai still serves up a good experience that encapsulates the staples of Thai food with some nice surprises.

I ordered hot Thai tea a little spicy I think because of ginger but still yummm and my husband ordered the jasmine cold tea! We didn't order appetizers because I see dishes are big so let's try the food and than a dessert!! Let's leave space for a crepe cake!!!! The pad Thai level 5 is spicy! I would choose #3 next time!! Big dishes so it would be best to share next time! The flavor is authentic and very savory!!! The teriyaki shrimp and noodles also a level 5 which was spicy! But savory!!! Customer service is great! Very attentive and very courteous, I loved the attention to us the customer!! They have a gold cage appetizer sampler that I saw at other tables and I saw people enjoy it very much!!! The wall decor and painting is beautiful!! And now for the coffee crepe!! Excited about this one because I have ate crepe cakes in Mexico and omg from barbas coffee shop and they are the best so let's see here!!! Very delicious crepe coffee cake! Just perfect addition to my warm creamy Thai tea!!! Crepe cake has roasted almond shavings on top with caramel drizzled and a white cream mousse that melts in your mouth! The experience was --- interesting. As is common with tasting menu restaurants, there was a story to go with each dish presented. Also as common with this sort of thing, some dishes were better than others, and many were just okay. At $150 per person, it was on the expensive side, and I question whether it was worth that. Perhaps $100 would have been appropriate. A wine/cocktail option was offered for something like an additional $125, but everyone declined. We were filled to excess by the food, and found it difficult to imagine having space for drinks on top of that. An interesting experience, but we are unlikely to return at this price point. I think that I have decided that tasting menus just aren't my cup of tea, and I really prefer to go to a place where I can select exactly what I want.
