Really awesome place, service was fantastic, food was amazing with many options so there's a little something for everyone. A good bit of the ceiling tiles are water stained, it didn't take away from The food or service, just from the aesthetics. Freshen up the tiles and this is an A+ all day

This place is a tried and true staple. The food is consistently at the highest standard. Great flavors, awesome beer selection and an easy going atmosphere. Who could ask for more?

Decided to try this place for dinner. The menu is promising and perhaps we should have ordered different things but I was very underwhelmed. I ordered the salad with shaking beef and my husband ordered the fried rice. The fried rice was meh, I could have whipped up a better dish right in that kitchen if I had my way. The salad was better but they were very heavy handed with the onions and I literally had to pick them out coz it was just overpowering the entire dish. My husband said he's had their bahn mi for lunch and it's solid so I'm willing to give them another try but for now, it's a 3 star review from me.

I was stating to get really dissatisfied with Vietnamese food. So many low quality spots Serving low quality food. You will not find that here! I was blown away by the top notch quality and over great flavor! Chris was a top notch professional and did a great job at explaining the menu and making great suggestions for us! Food: Vietnamese chargrilled pork sandwich was great! Every single bite was full of flavor and made to absolute perfection probably the best bah mi I've ever had. The meat was so fresh and delicious. They bread was crispy and flavorful. Simply top notch. The home made egg rolls were top notch. Every crispy bite was amazing. My girl got the nobi hot dog. My god. Top notch. I will definitely come back for years to come. ****One thing you must do is fix your soda machine or offer canned or bottle sodas. Your fountain drinks or horrible! I could drop a star for that because there is no reason to serve lack luster fountain drinks. Simply fix it or offer cans or bottles. **** Other than that this is simply a 5 star spot. The food was great. Top notch customer service from Chris. I will be back soon! Thank you all for serving quality food and not cutting corners when it comes to fresh quality food like so many other Vietnamese Asian spots do in Houston Texas

Always a great dinner option. Clean, solid service. AWESOME food- love their spring rolls (and other food, of course). I will always recommend this place. **However, warning for all of those with peanut allergies. Even when you order togo and say no peanuts, CHECK in the food not just on top. I made that mistake and had an allergic reaction. Nothing against this establishment, just triple check your food.

I got Nobis to go and ordered the tofu deluxe. I always enjoy tofu bahn mi's but I think I was expecting something completely different. I assumed the sandwich would include veggies too, but the tofu one only came with tofu onions and jalapeños. I tried some of my sisters veggie ham bahn mi and hers came with carrots cilantro and the rest of the veggies I expected. Overall I'd go for their vegetarian ham sandwich. It's a bit out of our way living in Pearland but if you're ever in the area!

Today was our first visit to Nobi. We came because we had some business nearby and we have not been to this area in a long time. Rachel at the Subaru dealer recommended Nobie as a place that would be friendly for our dog. Indeed they have a patio in the front, and he has enjoyed sitting here. We of course enjoyed our delicious meal of different noodle dishes. Also got excellent service.

Came in on a Sunday late afternoon after visiting the Space Center and needed food in that awkward "linner" time, only to have one of the best banh mi's in town! Parking was easy with the big lot in the front, and the beer list was tempting although I'll have to return for that another time when I'm not driving. Fast service, clean interior, and solid prices.

Sunday Pho Special and Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls

Came here on a Sunday at 11:30 am for their Sunday Pho Special. Note that you can be seated and start ordering at 11:30, but the pho isn't served until 12! It was definitely worth the wait. The pho broth was so flavorful and came out perfectly steaming. I appreciated their take on traditional pho with the addition of fried pork bits. The only thing missing was bean sprouts! The spring rolls were also delicious. I loved that they used chargrilled pork. The peanut sauce was rather bland and could have used more Hoisin and Sriracha, which I added on the side. Overall a solid place for Vietnamese fusion!

My husband and I just went to Nobi Public House for a late lunch, the place is spacious and nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered shrimp and pork Spring rolls, this came pretty quick, the grilled flavor of the pork really stands out, great peanut sauce. We also had Entree of shaking beef, comes with fried or white rice and fried egg, the egg was cooked to perfection with runny yolk, and the meat is super tender and flavorful; have a little peanut sauce with this and thank me later ;) staff was so nice they splitted our shaking beef in 2 plates with a fried egg each. They have a great selection of beers, I like this place. Don't skip out on the spring rolls!

It's an easy place for all kinds of gatherings, especially ones with big groups and a thirsty penchant for beer. In a place like Webster where chains rule and suburban life is abundant, Saloon Door stands out as an excellent local option. It may not look like much from the outside and even the interior is minimal, but that somehow doesn't matter when groups of people are enjoying their brews together. They host all sorts of events and also allow for private use of dare venue space. Any first timer should absolutely indulge in a beer flight with some kind. The brewmasters are kind enough to let folks sample to their heart's content. Not everybody is beer savvy (#1) but they do a good job of recommending the right ones for any given palate. I appreciate their selection of stouts, ales, light brews, and IPAs. I have a fondness for their peanut butter milk stout, as well as dar dildo pickle gose. The tasty AF is also a good one, as is the lava imperial hot rock beer. The ladder has an ABV of 11%, so it is the most potent one in their lineup that I know of. Most breweries like this aren't always known for food, but there are some nice deals to be had here. Their taco Tuesday nights are popular since board games and happy hour beers are apparently a thing. The Friday deal for $15 inlcudes a burger, fries, and a beer would is very affordable in these times. Thursday nights they activate their projection screen and do a " a retro video game" night with plenty of multiplayer and beer specials. I always look forward to coming here. There is no pretense, plenty of good service, and even more good beer. __________ (#1) ::::coughs:::: me.

It was one of the first on this side of town before everyone and their mom started opening up breweries. The difference is, it has stood the test of time and is still going strong. This location is located in an industrial park close to I-45. There is plenty of parking. It anchors that particular section and is quite large inside. There is plenty of seating and they also have space available for private events. The staff here know their product and offer great advise on what to pick if you are indecisive like me. They have quite a respectable assortment of beers to choose from. They have light beers, malty beers, stouts, IPAs, and seasonal beers. I would suggest a flight if you want to try a few different things. I am not a big IPA guy, but Saloon Door has some that are pretty tasty. My favorites here at their stouts. They are heavy, but easy to sip on. Their stouts have flavor profiles that I love. My all time favorite Saloon Door beer is the Tasty AF. It is a peanut butter and chocolate milk stout. How can you go wrong with that flavor combination. It's like drinking a dessert. Some breweries name their beers with flavors but don't deliver on said flavor. Here, their beers are true to their names. Don't sleep on their other offering though! As far as food, they have rotating food trucks that you can order from. This location was my introduction to Saloon Door, but they did open their second location closer to my home. I would still without a doubt come back to this location if in the area though!

We had so many restaurant options but chose this place because of the high ratings... and I'm so glad we did. I'll be honest--when we first arrived, I wasn't impressed with the outside or the area. I was a little hesitant going in. But the moment we walked through the doors, everything changed. The place felt welcoming, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere--yes, a little loud--but in a good way. It's that lively Mexican vibe: music, micheladas, carne asada... all of it. We were just tired, so I think I noticed it more. Now let's talk about the food... I ordered the Maestro Plate but swapped the meat for short rib costillas--and OH. MY. GOSH. These were hands down some of the best costillas I've ever had. Juicy, tender, packed with flavor. I cleaned those bones completely--every single bite. The dish was served with perfectly grilled "nopales" and queso panela, que ricura! Ahhh, and of course the charro beans and rice that I barely made a dent in. The portions? HUGE. Two of us shared one plate and still had leftovers--and we can eat! Now this part says everything: my grandson, who is on the spectrum and very picky, ordered pollo asado... and he tore into it. No complaints, no hesitation--he finished his entire plate. That alone speaks volumes. My daughter had the birria (and she's a birria critic), and even she couldn't finish her plate because of how generous the portion was--but she said it was full of flavor and really good. My older grandson (big growing boy with an equally big appetite) had a birria quesadilla--again, huge portion--and even he couldn't finish it, which never happens. To top it all off, the owner surprised us with a complimentary dessert--warm, soft, pillowy sopapillas with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The kids were FULL... and still devoured every last bite. Not a crumb left. And let's talk about pricing... honey. Compared to Austin? This was a steal. I was honestly shocked at how affordable it was for the quality and portion sizes. Amazing food, generous portions, great service, and a place that turned my hesitation into loyalty. They've earned our business--100%. We will absolutely be back next time we're in town.

When we arrived, we seated ourselves outside, where there was only one other group present. Despite the patio being very small and the waitress coming in and out several times, we were never acknowledged or approached. After waiting for some time, I went inside and spoke with the owner, Adolf. He came out to our table and briefly discussed menu options with us. I asked specifically about the fish and chips, as we were told some dishes were no longer available due to an earlier rush. He said he would go check on that for me--but he never returned. Fifteen minutes later, we still had not received any service. When the waitress came back onto the patio again, I called her over and asked when we might be helped. She told me she "did not see us there," which I found difficult to believe given the size of the patio. After that interaction, she did not return to take our order. I went back inside and spoke with the owner again, this time clearly frustrated. He looked me directly in the eyes, raised both hands, and said, "You can calm down now." He repeated it in a tone that felt condescending and dismissive. I responded, "Thank you for giving me permission to calm down," and at that point, I turned around, walked out, and left with my friend to dine elsewhere. I cannot comment on the quality of the food because we were never served. I can comment on the service, which was extremely poor. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the service a zero. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to The Velvet Quarter.

Food wise, Gouda Mushroom Burger is fantastic every time. A great mix of flavors, and a hefty burger, you will not be disappointed. Every time we have come here, someone gets it. The fries are also well seasoned and tasty. Highly recommend. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken. This was absolutely fantastic. Served over a bed of sauteed serrano slaw (which was amazing, I usually don't like slaw), this delightful concoction was stuffed with cream cheese spinach artichoke and cream cheese with a balsamic glaze over the top. It comes with very good mashed potatoes. I don't like most restaurants potatoes, so that's a bonus win. Really enjoyed, would get it again. The beer! They have a really good menu that rotates. They have local craft brews, in addition to your standard domestics. They also have ciders for those that don't fancy a beer. Our last visit I had a Belgian Tripel, and a Pumpkin Stout. Delish!
