    Wedge salad
    Kristina G.

Food was so good...wow! We ordered an app next door and brought over then ordered mushroom pizza and wedge salad with added shrimp. Pizza was amazing...had that slight burnt edges we've been looking for! Finally! Ingredients were fresh...subbed marinara instead of mushroom sauce, and was so good. Wedge salad was fresh, tasty...yumm! Ordered toasted coconut old fashioned...needed to let the ice settle in but was good. Service was fast, friendly, helpful with suggestions. Ambiance honestly was chic, inviting, chairs were uncomfortable not gonna lie, high top table. Nice to be able to hear each other. Will definitely be back soon!

We enjoy wood fired pizza and were looking forward to our lunch at Hyde Park. We were a little disappointed. There is seating out front. I think it's all picnic table seating. The seating inside is comfortable, but there were a few distractions. The tables with the aluminum-type chairs were pock marked, as if they'd been water damaged. There appeared to be a few newer tables and chairs for larger groups and there was a nice couch and coffee table setup at the front of the restaurant. The ceiling, which was black, also appeared to have water damage. Our server came to the table with a smile. She was helpful and took great care of us. We started with a Chop Salad. When we were finished our server cleared the table and brought us clean plates before the pizza arrived. Top notch service. The Chop Salad was easily enough for us to share. The lettuce was fresh and the blue cheese dressing was good. There was a lot of real crumbled bacon. It wasn't outstanding, but it was a tasty start to our meal. We ordered the Busy Bee pizza // house red sauce, fresh mozzarella, soppresatta, basil, chili, goat cheese, hot honey. The pizza was not cut well. There were steak knives on the table and we did our best to finish the cutting that was started in the kitchen area. The crust was thin, which left more room for the flavor of the toppings. Unfortunately, the pizza was dry because there was very little sauce. There was not much mozzarella, but there was a ton of goat cheese. Each of the eight pieces had one and sometimes two pieces of the soppresatta. The basil flavor was nice and I enjoyed the hot honey. Mark thought the pizza was too sweet. The overwhelming flavor of the pizza was goat cheese and honey. It was just okay overall. I did enjoy the crust ends, which captured the wood fired flavor. It was tender and delicious. We don't live in Texas, but visit often to see family. We most likely won't recommend dining here with our Texas family.

We've been meaning to try Hyde Park for such a long time now, but always went in another direction. They have a great menu with lots of options to choose from, but we came for the pizza! And oh my god! What a great pizza! They ferment their dough, giving the crust this airy soft annnd crunchy cornicione, it has a good flavor and doesn't leave you feeling bloated. The place is beautiful, with nice ambiance, and service was so quick! They have wonderful combinations, but we went with half pepper pepperoni amazing!!! With their fantastic house made sauce, acidic Calabrian chilis and great greasy toasty pepperoni, 100% recommended! And half busy bee, with house red sauce, great mozzarella cheese, soppresatta, basil, chili, goat cheese, and to top it off some hot honey, this was my husband's favorite, it was really good!! We are very happy we came to try Hyde park, we will be back!

Half Blanche Devereaux Half Fungi Pizza
    Brett N.

Why 4 stars? Because the pizza was exactly what I was hoping it would be. --- --- --- After a long day visiting my family, I was a starvin' Marvin. I looked on my bookmarks to see what was nearby and Hyde Park Kitchen was a pretty easy choice for my destination. I couldn't resist ordering a pizza... it was just too hard to pick one, so I opted for a Half Blanche Devereaux and Half Fungi. The fungi was excellent, the Blanche Deveraux was solid. In retrospect, I should have asked for no artichoke, but I did enjoy it, overall. I would not hesitate to come back here to try many of the other pizzas. But we also ordered the octopus and upgraded it to come with brussels sprouts. I am not one to exaggerate for the sake of shock value... so please believe me when I tell you that this was one of the worst dishes I have had in 2024. I do not have it in me to do this, but my Mom asked the waiter to please send it back. I'm happy to say that he did and he removed it from the bill, but I just cannot believe how poorly done it was. Nothing had any flavor to it. Because they took it back, I'm treating my rating like I never had it. I'm only mentioning it for future Yelpers to avoid!

Cool restaurant with interesting pizza flavors! The Elote Pizza of the month was delicious and had all the flavors you'd find in your traditional corn in a cup!

Love getting the pizza here! They also have the best ranch! The staff is attentive and if you want to order from Nobi next door you can!

    Ryna D.

Noticed this place after dining at Nobi which is next door. We decided to have lunch here later in the week and it was a great choice! We shared the montano sandwich, the shorty, and some corn ribs to start. All three were delicious. The short rib is a small plate so given the price point, might not be worth it but the meat is succulent and perfectly tender. I would love to go back and try their pizzas and other offerings if I'm back in town.

    The Purple One
    Janet M.

Nobi House is one of my favorite places to eat in the area so I decided to try Hyde Park just next door. I ordered The Purple One minus the mozzarella. It was so flavorful. I think the bread was a pizza crust which was such a great idea; it was light and thin, not a lot of bread. Staff were friendly and attentive.

    Mechila B.

YUMM 100/10 Corn ribs- MUST I don't remember what the pasta was called that we ordered but both were phenomenallll and came with yummy garlic bread. We got a couple drinks- our first round were daiquiris I believe and then my friend got a fruit pebble drink. The fruit pebble was our favorite. The atmosphere and service was amazing everyone was so nice and things were really clean. They have two places next door that I think is owned or run by the same peeps- I haven't tried the gelato but the place next to it is great as well. Can't wait to come back!

My friend and I visited the Space Center near by, and were looking for a place to eat after. YELP led us to this place! We first walked to Nobi next door, took a look at the menu. Then came to Hyde, and it was a good crowd and vibe, so we stayed. We didn't need a resy, but they have couches at the entrance if in case you need to wait for a table. We were quickly seated. They were about 70% full, good sign. I liked their open kitchen and the cozy looking bar. Service - I can't remember our server's name, but she was great. I didn't get the receipt, so I can't even look back on it. But she was young, bubbly, and full of suggestions. Food - we ordered the pasta and a pizza to split. And the pizza was very yum. We ordered half Blanche Devereaux and half pickle pizza, after consulting with our server. Both sides were very tasty, I would order this combo again. But the pickel pizza was my favorite. The idea sounds weird but so tasty. Would definitely come back for pickle pizza. My friend was already planning her next trip to come down here again midway through her meal, lol. The brie alfredo pasta was interesting & good. My friend thought it was delicious. You be the judge and try it. We realized later on in the evening that Nobi, Hyde, and Gelato are all the same owners. The business seems to be doing well, and their pizza game is strong.

Hyde Park is amazing! The staff is always so friendly, the vibes are always great, and the pizza is easily my favorite in the area. The only critic i have is that the brussels sprouts could be cooked for longer (but maybe that's just a personal preference). Besides that I definitely recommend their busy bee or anything with pepperoni

    Alison J.

Got the pickle pizza, their "cool beans" take on an espresso martini, and their root beer old fashioned, between my boyfriend and I. Everything was lovely and reasonably priced. Server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. I absolutely loved the ambiance of the building, both outside and inside were super charming.

    Ordered meals.

Ordered the Shorty, meat tender and flavored ginger chili sauce with potatoes, good. Wife ordered Steak#2, sauce good but meat was tough. I would go back try pizzas.

Getting to this area from Pearland is much easier than heading into Houston so I was more than happy to come here. I've been here a couple of times and the most recent visit brought me and a party bus full of friends here on a Saturday night. The place gets busy but parking hasn't been an issue on any of my visits. It's a narrow bar that may seem tight, but it keeps going towards the back with more seating as well as a spacious patio. Customer service is always great and the bartenders know their stuff here. They have a pretty extensive drink menu here and there is something for everyone's preferences. They have a long list of cocktails and they can make you anything you want as well. The staff are experts here. They also have an impressive bourbon collections with about 200 kinds to choose from. Along with their cocktails, they have a long list of martinis. I love a good martini and here they have so many options. You can't go wrong with my favorite espresso martini, but the one that wowed me here was the Cucumber Patch. Cucumber flavor profile is not typically something I seek out, but I was in the mood for something refreshing and this was suggested to me. Get it and thank me later. As far as food goes, they have a separate BBQ business on site that sells some food. Don't sleep on the Bay Area if you are looking for a nice cocktail. This place will quickly be one of your favorites. I will surely be back.

I've driven by a countless number of times, and you'd never really know it's there. But walking in, you immediately get that local dive bar kinda vibe in the best way possible. I met up with some friends here for a chill drink after work, and to our surprise it was karaoke night! I have to applaud the regulars here because they can really SING! But don't be shy if you can't, they were welcome to everyone going up for a song. As far as drinks go, I had the Alimony. I was sold on it because it's gin, guava juice and elderflower liquor. Balanced, not too sweet, and had a little bit of sparkling effervescence. Pair that with a shot or a beer, and we were having a great time catching up with old friends. I don't remember our bartender's name, but she gave us great service. Overall 10/10 recommend the Davenport Lounge Clear Lake if you're looking for where the locals go, trust me they know best.

And listen, I'm basically a certified alcoholic (just kidding... allegedly), so trust me when I say I know a good drink when I taste one. She literally told me she studies cocktail recipes day and night. Like... how cute is that? Meanwhile I can barely commit to folding my laundry. Then she proceeds to make me the SMOOTHEST, yummiest espresso martini my tastebuds have ever had the privilege of experiencing. One sip and I was astonished, emotional, slightly turned on, all of the above. This woman has the shake hands of a goddess. I think I fell in love a little bit. Also, shoutout to the super friendly man in the Hawaiian shirt and Bob Ross-style beret. He brought immaculate vibes to the whole place and made the experience even better (for the most part). Anyways, the drinks at this place are phenomenal. 1000% give this place a try. And if you get Bella as your bartender, congratulations- you ARE one of God's favorites.

What's cool about The Great Kanakas Atomic Tiki Bar, outside of their excellent name, is that they're indoors but the bar makes you feel like you're actually outside. I liked the concept. You'll know it when you see the menu. It's a long name, sounds very Hawaiian, and you'll have difficulty pronouncing it. You'll get a kick out of it. I really hate when places do this. Two thumbs down for the parking set-up. Luckily, once I made my way inside, things got better. McIntyre's is a huge bar. They have a spacious patio but we sat inside. There are plenty of TVs which make it a great spot to watch sports. And they even have a mini food court! I didn't eat but I noticed that one of the two spots serves Mexican fare. My buddy had some loaded fries with al pastor that looked incredible. He said it was good. I stuck with some beers. You'll find your usual assortments of cocktails, beer, and wine here. It's a full bar. Another pet peeve of mine? Cops are the door. It just kind of kills the vibe a little bit when there's a police officer staring at people. Not that anyone was up to no good but it's kind of like drinking while your grandma is watching. Just a little awkward. McIntyre's is comparable to Little Woodrows in the area. They're both huge sports bars with spacious patios. With that being said, I think Little Woodrows offers the better overall experience.

They had our table already prepared which was fantastic, but the restaurant was slow and not very busy. We could've just walked in and, other than having to wait for them to prepare our table, been seated right away. Our waitress, Moriah, was fantastic! She had tables on opposite sides of the restaurant, but since they weren't very busy it didn't seem to be an issue. There were a couple of times when we had to ask for drink refills, but it wasn't horrible. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good, and I appreciate that they have some options that you wouldn't find just anywhere. That's the kind of thing I look for in a restaurant. However there were a few places where they fell short. 1. There was no kids menu. This may not be a big deal for a lot of people. It wasn't a big deal for me since my toddler eats pretty much anything, so we shared. It WAS however a big deal for my 6 year-old niece who does NOT eat anything. They told my sister that they could make some butter noodles or take the harissa off of a pizza and make it a smaller size for her. She opted for the butter noodles which were bland and unseasoned. Then they have no salt or pepper on the tables so she couldn't even season them until she asked for some. It helped, but they still weren't very good. 2. The food is overpriced. It's good food, but the prices were a little steep compared to the quality. My sister and I discussed this later and we both had the same thought. We didn't understand why they weren't busy because they had the potential to be, and it just felt like they maybe were trying TOO hard. I would go back, but this wouldn't be a regular choice for me. I'd be happy to go if someone chose this as an option, and I might even choose to go back for a date night or something. I like the atmosphere of the place as well as how open it felt... I don't love a crowded space. Another thing I loved was the Smoked Caramel Bread Pudding. I'm surprised I liked it so much because I don't typically love added smoke flavor, but this worked! Listen, I LOVE bread pudding. If there's ever bread pudding on the menu, I'm going to get it. This being my birthday dinner dessert was absolutely fine by me. The edges were a little caramelized and it was absolutely delicious and everyone who tried it agreed. Give this place a try, but just know that you may pay a little more than what it's worth. It's still tasty food though! Also... try the bread pudding!

The garlic parmesan Brussels sprouts were a standout appetizer! They were crispy, flavorful, and the perfect balance of flavors. The French onion burger was incredible, packed with rich onion flavor, melty cheese, and cooked perfectly. And the whiskey cake was the perfect way to end the meal.. it's a dessert you definitely don't want to skip. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service made for an all-around fantastic experience. We'll definitely be back!

Food - 4.5/5 Service - 4/5…read moreAmbiance - 3.5/5 I had only heard mixed reviews regarding this place going in, so I figured my experience was going to be the same, but it was an overall very positive one. The ambiance was nice as we walked in, and after being quickly seated next to a window, the atmosphere was nice. They did end up covering the window before we started eating, and the little bulb way above us and candle did not really provide light enough for us to eat (I get it is mood lighting, but I like seeing what I eat). The food was really solid, though. A few times I've been in the past it was all too salty, but this time around it was much better. I got the Farm Bird, and it was very juicy and had a very nice crunch. The Fish and Chips were nice and flaky, while the Pork Chop was extremely juicy and rich. The shrimp in the rigatoni was definitely oversalted, as well as the broccolini greens in the pork chop dish. The appetizers we got (Brussels Sprouts and Spinach Artichoke Dip) were both okay, though I prefer garlic bread to the chip for the dip and the sprouts were a little one note. The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Overall a very surprising experience, and while it carries a heavy price tag, it is absolutely a good choice if you're looking for a nicer meal out here.
