I have been to the original McIntyre's in The Heights and their second location in Downtown. I checked out their newest location, in Webster, for the second half of the UT and A&M football game. Despite having a large parking lot, their parking lot was completely full. I circled around multiple times before parking illegally. It was a busy night but part of the problem is a section of the parking lot is valet only. For regular parking. I really hate when places do this. Two thumbs down for the parking set-up. Luckily, once I made my way inside, things got better. McIntyre's is a huge bar. They have a spacious patio but we sat inside. There are plenty of TVs which make it a great spot to watch sports. And they even have a mini food court! I didn't eat but I noticed that one of the two spots serves Mexican fare. My buddy had some loaded fries with al pastor that looked incredible. He said it was good. I stuck with some beers. You'll find your usual assortments of cocktails, beer, and wine here. It's a full bar. Another pet peeve of mine? Cops are the door. It just kind of kills the vibe a little bit when there's a police officer staring at people. Not that anyone was up to no good but it's kind of like drinking while your grandma is watching. Just a little awkward. McIntyre's is comparable to Little Woodrows in the area. They're both huge sports bars with spacious patios. With that being said, I think Little Woodrows offers the better overall experience. read more

The staff is incredibly nice and professional. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks from the waitress. Not that big of a deal. My next two orders of Diet Coke were both served as Rum and Cokes. I went here with some coworkers and was so pleasantly surprised with how much I liked it! I don't usually go to sports bars but this place is so fun. Both the inside and outside are very spacious with many different options for sitting areas. The swings were my favourite, saw them on the way out and definitely will take advantage of that spot next time. The "it's always sunny in Webster" cocktail was delicious; refreshing and not too sweet. Best part was that they had samples since it's pre-made and on draft. Brilliant idea. The service all over was great... genuine friendliness, helpful, welcoming... from employees walking by to the table bussers to the bartenders. They have a couple places to eat in the next room over from the bar area. I got the chicken garlic fried rice dish at Paperbag and it's one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. They top it with a fried egg! I also have to mention how lovely the bathrooms were. Super clean and even that area was wonderfully spacious. Their whole McPup thing is too cute and I'm so excited to go back with my Frenchie for a photoshoot. **Edit: I originally gave 4 stars but I just found out that they're 21+ so that earns them their fifth. THANK YOU MCINTYRE'S!! Way more places need to be this way, especially when it's a BAR. Their main menu item here is alcohol. Anyone upset that it's not family friendly has plenty other (too many in my opinion) options to take their crotch goblins to. Let those of us who hate kids have happy places to relax in. read more

A large indoor outdoor bar with lots of TVs and games. There are 2 options for food inside to choose from. One a taco stand and the other that serves wings. Use either pick up window you want and take it to a table and enjoy. There is plenty of servers walking around taking orders from the bar. Large screens in the back to watch whatever is happening at the time. TVs are everywhere so you don't miss the action. Plenty of places to sit outside at tables or couches. Even have a row of swings to enjoy. Only 2 slightly negative things I see that could be a problem is the parking for one. Might need more space when crowded and the music was a little loud inside. But to fix that we went outside and sat under a heater and was much easier to hear each other. Good spot to met friends and relax. read more

Ok so I walk in, and walk to the bar and the first thing I get bitch about my sun glasses they are prescription these are my only glasses I have and she just told me as a manager herself she told me I can't wear them in the bar. I had too much fun here. I love the patio and will be back with my pups. I like that they had games to play. Bathrooms are big and clean and they had some food I wanted to try but forgot in all the fun. Went for my birthday weekend. Our bartender was nice and joked with us. At the UT game and literally all the people inside are having to wear their coats because the young "manager" that we asked if we could close the door said that he couldn't close the door. When I asked him if he could address the situation. He was INSTANTLY combative, instead of inquisitive. I guess I messed up his "game" by interrupting him chatting up the girls. Literally EVERYONE is wearing their coats. I pointed to the table by the door all wearing their coats still and shivering and he couldn't have cared less. I asked him if we could at least close it and when people need to go in and out, and at that point they could open the door but not to leave it just propped open. He was not walking around checking on guests. Just sitting at the front flirting with the staff at a table that they were sitting at. Super service. listen, I know how it goes. The staff is hot bc they are working so they let it get to cold for guest so they could get cooler. Also, when we came in they said that the front was for valet only, but two people that work here were parking in the front. Soooooo ‍ maybe the owner needs to talk to their staff. read more

The ambiance is good the food I didn't try. There were issues with my bill. And another issues with which card to charge. One of the manager reach out quickly after hearing about the issues. She offer to resolve it with the GM . And I respectfully decline stating that it wasn't worth the time or effort. But that I wouldn't be back. This is what cause me to write this. The place itself is nice, however be careful, as with other places where orders are done with hand-held devices, you really don't ever see the cost of item unless you ask for a detailed receipt. We had 3 different servers who took our orders, and looking back at the credit card charge for 2 beers and 1 cocktail, it was $84 dollars. Lesson learned, ask for a detailed receipt! The food is sub par. Don't expect it to be anymore than a sporting event location. Food prices are high. The service in the floor is incredible but the drinks are expensive. Tonight was a huge failure and I will not be back. Valet cars were parked anywhere possible blocking everyone in. There was a line of angry people including myself who could not leave due to the cars being parked like they were.
