Steak Stroganoff, Brick Chicken, seasonal margaritas
    Neha S.

Would definitely come back here. Went on a cute girls night with my friend, and we got there just in time for one round of happy hour. We both got the seasonal margarita, which was like a raspberry version of a house margarita, and it was so good. Not too sweet either, which was appreciated. Our waiter was super nice and patient because we were there chatting for at least 2.5 hrs. The food was 10/10 on quality. We got the steak stroganoff, and the steak was medium rare and cooked to perfection. The pasta was so rich and creamy, and even the little piece of bread on the side was soft and warm. The brick chicken dish was good, but the chicken skin could have been more crunchy and crispy rather than hard as the ends were a little tough to get through. However, the polenta was the highlight of that dish, and I could eat a bowl of just that with the sauce. I'll be back!!

We really enjoyed this fancier sit down spot in league city. The interior was very modern and it looked like a great spot for a date night or professional dinner. We ordered the Peri Peri chicken, lobster beignets, crispy Okra, and chicken fried rockfish with broccolini. The dishes were very flavorful with unique sauces and sides. We enjoyed the lobster beignet appetizer the most and it would be worth visiting just for this. We overall loved this spot and it serves as a nice change of pace from all of the chains and usual American spots in our area.

Chef Jason's creations are absolutely delicious. Nicole and Crystal are the best, very attentive and friendly.

My husband and I just visited Slate Table + Bar for lunch, the place is beautiful, tastefully decorated. The menu is small but very interesting. We were in a bit of a rush, so this time we didn't order appetizers. The staff is very helpful and friendly, service was very quick. I ordered the fish tacos and my husband the hot honey chicken sandwich, both with potato chips. Both dishes were nicely plated, very appealing and inviting. The tacos were delicious, the blue tortilla definitely elevates this dish, the morita sauce made the fish stand out, and the blanco sauce brings everything together, the chips are fantastic, quite addictive, I must say. The sandwich was also really good, the bun is pillowy, delicious breaded chicken breast, the peri peri sauce is very flavorful, and the salt and vinegar crisp adds that interesting crunchy texture, overall great sandwich. We probably picked the most simple dishes, but we were impressed by how they combine flavors, textures, they keep it interesting. We'll definitely be back to try other items in their menu, great experience at Slate Table + Bar!

First time here. I've been wanting g to come and eat their delicious food. These refs and bartenders are really nice. It's has an intimate atmosphere.

    Nice whiskey and paloma!

Our first visit, and it was excellent! Great drinks, food and service. Everybody there was friendly and helpful

Found Slate Table while driving from the airport to Galveston. I was a little worried when the place was a ghost town but service and the food were both excellent. I had a cold and didn't feel like drinking but the drinks looked good too. The bathroom was adorably decorated! I would stop in again when in the area!

Once again Slate doesn't disappoint. Paula and I had dinner here tonight with a great bottle of wine and one of their amazing Christmas drinks. We had the Ceviche and pizza - everything was exceptional. Ask for Lane when you get here.

I'm part of a Bay Area foodie group and have seen a lot of recommendations about this place. I was eager to try out this restaurant. I walked in and knew I was going to love the place. The decor of the place was very cutesy and there was a DJ playing. The waitress let me know it was ladies' night and the specials that went along. I was excited when I heard the martinis were $5! That excitement quickly changed when the drinks were brought out. They were sooooo small! I think the size needs to mentioned at ordering, or possibly made into a cute martini flight with special pricing instead. The food was pretty good. I ordered the elote ravioli and it was interesting. I tried my friend's Goddess Pasta and the chicken was perfect, but the pasta was a little too spicy for me. Then on to dessert we went! The cookies and milk was delish. I'd come back!

Love that there is a swanky & vibey new restaurant right in League City! Great place to bring people visiting from out of town, catching up with friends, a nice date night, or even a solo date. Creative dishes and drinks, quick but not rushed service, and awesome DJ which enhances the experience.

This place just opened so I'm giving them grace but it wasn't super impressive to me. Service was very slow, but it seemed like they were understaffed. Their menu has some odd options (birria pizza?). Everyone thought their food was mediocre except me. I had the chicken fried redfish and it was actually really good. We all were kinda hungry after our meal. It seemed like everyone else got the charcuterie board so I think the thing to do here is grab apps and drinks. The drinks were all very decadent. The seats were really nice and plush. Order the shrimp for a fun surprise!

Our first time here. We were in town for a wedding and decided to do by. The ambiance is nice, service was great, and food was amazing. I also had the Paloma in Italy and it was the best Paloma I've ever had. If ever we're back in town, we will come back

If I could give this place more stars I would. Came here on a whim to celebrate my nieces 35th birthday and from the greeting to the food/drinks to our awesome waitress Crystal, it was amazing!! I've already told my family we will be going back for my birthday next month.

Is there gluten and vegan options ? I am allergic to both dairy and gluten so it becomes very hard to have a nice meal at a restaurant.

Jen, as a celiac, i can tell you there are great gluten free options like the Brick Chicken, pizzas with cauliflower crust, the steak, the fish tacos and a few others. The servers and the chef can help you with dairy. Hope that helps.

They order it from Mostly Chocolate in The Heights and they're $3.5 each when sold here. They had about 10 flavors when I went so a lot to choose from like espresso, smores, salted caramel, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, rosemary olives oil and more. The salted caramel: I loved it. I thought 4/5! My girlfriend through it was a little too salty but I thought it was perfect. She would rate closer to 3-3.5 Toffee something: interesting texture it had bits inside that were really nice and the filling was super smooth. The shell was delicious. My girlfriend would rate 4-5/5! Espresso: my girlfriend loveddddd it!! She would do 4-5/5 and I would say around 3-3.5. I wish it were chocolaty-er but my gf wouldn't change a thing. I would come back for the service alone; nothing beats that! Can't wait to try the hazelnut pop rock and smores.

TL;DR: Pearland has a wine bar, y'all! Support local!…read more The name is an attention grabber! I first learned of TBTBTCBM during HRW last summer. I was immediately intrigued, especially since they're located in Pearland. It took a few months after HRW before I was finally able to try them out. Take Out: I've done take out a few times. The first time, I ordered at the restaurant. It took about 20-30 minutes for the food to be prepared. Miranda was so nice and offered me water while I waited. She was very friendly and personable. The next two times, I ordered online. My order was ready when I arrived both times, however the second time I arrived, service was extremely slow. I was in a hurry and didn't feel well so I left a little annoyed. Food: Cucumber Shooters - Really tasty! I enjoyed the walnuts and cream cheese. Deviled Eggs - The flavor changes monthly. The first time I had it, the flavor was olive and I didn't care for it. Nutella Board - I ordered a catering size for a party and it was a hit with the party goers. Smoked Salmon - I loved it! It came with an everything bagel, cream cheese, and an assortment of veggies. I had enough food for three days. Dine In: We were the only patrons in the restaurant. It's not a large place, but it was a little awkward because our server could hear our entire conversation. There was a music playlist going, but the volume was low. Our server Cassundra was very nice. She made great suggestions on food and wine and assured us that the amount of food we ordered would be plenty. Wine: We ordered a bottle of Pratello Catulliano. This was our first time trying Lugana wine. You could taste the lime and apple, and it was on the drier side. Cassundra told us that they did a wine and Girl Scout cookie pairing and the Pratello Catulliano paired nicely with the Shortbread cookie. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying a bottle to go. We also had a glass of the house white wine which we enjoyed. Food: Butter Board - This was extremely tasty! It's whipped butter with hot honey, garlic cloves, rosemary, and sea salt. The contrast of sweet, salty, and savory was excellent and I loved the flavor of the rosemary! It came with focaccia bread. Deviled Eggs - The flavor this month is dill pickle. They were much better than the olive ones I had a few months prior and I would definitely order this flavor again! The Pearland - This charcuterie board is one of their most popular. There was a nice assortment of meat, cheese, crackers, and fruit. I actually liked the beet crackers with the salami and sharp cheddar. TBTBTCBM never seems to be busy when I visit. It is hidden in the same shopping strip as the discount movie theater. Part of me likes that it's sort of a secret, but I want this business to do well. It's nice to have a wine bar in town and not have to drive to Friendswood, Houston, or Missouri City.

On a recent trip to Galveston, it was the same. We found D'Vine Wine listed in our search and got giddy. We came up on and were as happy as pigs in...well you know. There was a guy out front playing guitar, the patio and backyard looked inviting and slightly rustic, and a decent breeze was in the air. We were ready to camp out with a bottle of wine for a little while. Until... We get inside and see the tastings are pretty pricey. Prices range depending on the type of wine you sample, but I think we paid middle of the road 2 bucks for a plastic, thimble-sized sample. We ask for the sample. The woman behind the bar pours it in the tiny plastic cup and hands it over. And stares at us. So...nothing to say about this one? Must be a real winner. And as expected, it was not very good. We then sample another*, and she pours with no description whatsoever, and we cringe as we sip on this second sample. At this point, we know we'll be moving on, but we browsed anyways as we nursed this second, tiny sample. To our astonishment, they actually have some of the priciest wine we've ever seen at a Texas winery. As we circle back to the bar area, we're greeted with the following: "So, y'all want another sample or something?" ...thanks...but no thanks! *If so bad, why the second sample? 1. We're gluttons for wine/beer/punishment. 2. You got one free sample for "liking" them on facebook. We felt guilty about wanting to leave after having just one free sample. I did not, however, feel guilty about "unliking" them later that night.
