Went for my niece's birthday. Place was very nice and the service was on point. The food was great and the salad bar selections were great.

They have mastered all aspects of a quality establishment: excellent execution and service by the staff, solid output of food, a clean and inviting ambiance for all groups, and at decent prices for a casual meal or even a date. The vibe is modern and contemporary, which makes this place both casual and date friendly. There is just enough seating options (indoor and outdoor) to feel spacious, yet also intimate at the same time. The bar offers a nice view of the open kitchen, and a small TV. Love the framed art pieces and the uber clean restrooms. While their woodfired oven cooked pizzas don't resemble anything from NY, they still manage to stand out on their own. The margherita looks the part, which is thankfully nothing like the nearby competition. The elote crema is a fun spin, the busy bee is a hearty option, and the banhmizza shouldn't work yet they've managed to pull it off. The consistency has been an issue in the past, with some that feel overly doughy, feature a less than cooked undercarriage, or an overly charred bubbly edge. Thankfully it hasn't deterred my visits in the slightest. Where there are pizzas, there are pastas and they are just as popular. The brie alfredo is a colorful and indulgent option, as is the 5 cheese mac with crunchy quinoa on top. Their totally baked bolognese is very tasty, but the short rib ragu has been the go-to dish overall. I would be remiss if I didn't mention their cocktails, which are simple but quite nice. The root beer old fashioned is potent and sweet, while the girlfriend is a nice blend of gin and elderflower liqueur with floral additions such as rosewater, hibiscus, finished with lemon and egg white. The lychee sour is also an easy one to love, while sweet tooths might love the bedrock cocktail and it's fruity pebbles infused vodka. Lastly, the staff is very on it from all aspects of service. I admire how professional they've been with every meal and give major kudos to the Asian ownership for a job well done. This is an excellent spot. ___________ (#1) Queens.

It's truly such a good spot for pizza and pasta and reminds of me of Jupiter & Pizza Waffles in Sugar Land in terms of atmosphere and vibe. They have plenty of unique options for pizza which I really look forward to trying them all. They also have some other unique menu items too. If I lived closer here, I'd definitely be visiting more often. We had the pickle pizza with pepperoni added on it as well as the totally baked Bolognese. Everything comes out hot and fresh, and the pizza is always as good as I remember it. I had the Bolognese for the first time this visit and it was delicious. A little on the heavy side but it's meaty and creamy with the cheese. Their house-made ranch is something else, I'm more of a bleu cheese guy but my girlfriend likes ranch better so we got that but I gotta say that ranch is reallyyyy good so I'd recommend trying that with your pizza too. Service is fast, you can choose to sit anywhere when you walk in. They get to you fairly quickly. I forget everything else I had in the past, but the service and food never disappoint!

Getting to this area from Pearland is much easier than heading into Houston so I was more than happy to come here. I've been here a couple of times and the most recent visit brought me and a party bus full of friends here on a Saturday night. The place gets busy but parking hasn't been an issue on any of my visits. It's a narrow bar that may seem tight, but it keeps going towards the back with more seating as well as a spacious patio. Customer service is always great and the bartenders know their stuff here. They have a pretty extensive drink menu here and there is something for everyone's preferences. They have a long list of cocktails and they can make you anything you want as well. The staff are experts here. They also have an impressive bourbon collections with about 200 kinds to choose from. Along with their cocktails, they have a long list of martinis. I love a good martini and here they have so many options. You can't go wrong with my favorite espresso martini, but the one that wowed me here was the Cucumber Patch. Cucumber flavor profile is not typically something I seek out, but I was in the mood for something refreshing and this was suggested to me. Get it and thank me later. As far as food goes, they have a separate BBQ business on site that sells some food. Don't sleep on the Bay Area if you are looking for a nice cocktail. This place will quickly be one of your favorites. I will surely be back.

I've driven by a countless number of times, and you'd never really know it's there. But walking in, you immediately get that local dive bar kinda vibe in the best way possible. I met up with some friends here for a chill drink after work, and to our surprise it was karaoke night! I have to applaud the regulars here because they can really SING! But don't be shy if you can't, they were welcome to everyone going up for a song. As far as drinks go, I had the Alimony. I was sold on it because it's gin, guava juice and elderflower liquor. Balanced, not too sweet, and had a little bit of sparkling effervescence. Pair that with a shot or a beer, and we were having a great time catching up with old friends. I don't remember our bartender's name, but she gave us great service. Overall 10/10 recommend the Davenport Lounge Clear Lake if you're looking for where the locals go, trust me they know best.

Ok first I am from New Orleans so when people say they are from there I ask questions!! So I can…read moresay YES they are!! The cook went to Nicholls so it's legit!! New Orleans is NOT Cajun Food it's creole!! Cajun food is spicy cause they eat from the land. The spice is needed to kill bacteria from eating stuff in the wild. New Orleans has grocery stores we aren't eating raccoon. Creole is more refined French with sauces and layered flavors. The heat is on the back of your palate not the front. But if you want it spicy they got all the hot sauce you just say make it spicy. They can. Ya hear me? The Monday catfish plate is so good, 3 pieces of big fish hush puppies and fries! This is the spot if you miss home. The daiquiris let me put you on your new spot!! Get the White Russian. Mix the flavors but if you want it made like bourdon street or old school dnc in fat city. If you want to buy only a daiquiri, you can't. You have to buy a food menu item, too, but it wasn't even Sunday when they told me this. Daiquiris: delicious and a variety to choose from. Food: The first time I came here I had hush puppies and a daiquiri. They were both good. The second time: a catfish poboy with remoulade sauce, the meaty part of the fish was so thin. I thought it was just a bad day or I received a really small fish out of the bunch, but it tasted okay the remoulade sauce saved it. The third time I ordered a catfish and shrimp platter, which had a nice amount of fries, but I couldn't really see how the catfish and shrimp looked or how many of each I received initially. That wasn't an issue, because I like French fries. But once I ate some of my French fries, that's when I realized that I had 4 shrimp, which were a good size and delicious and 3 catfish PIECES for $27. The two sauces were great. After seeing the catfish and four shrimp, I reviewed their website because the catfish was not catfishing the way that I'm accustomed. Their website says CATFISH PIECES, it's literally HALF of what a standard 3 piece catfish order would be at other places, so ONE AND HALF catfish. Absolutely ridiculous. Mind you the $27 does not include a drink, bread, or a daiquiri in the total price, just the food that you see in the picture, sans some of the fries that I ate. If I ever come back here again, it would only be for the daiquiri. I was disappointed in the catfish flavor, size and cost. I will wait until I visit home to get a better value catfish plate and eat elsewhere in the Houston area, because $27 for this is crazy. Ambiance: There's parking and the place looks clean with plenty of places to sit inside considering the size of the place.

Wow. WOW is the word to describe this place…read more Let me tell you about Bella the bartender, the BEST bartender I have ever encountered in my entire life. And listen, I'm basically a certified alcoholic (just kidding... allegedly), so trust me when I say I know a good drink when I taste one. I've sampled enough lovely liquors in my day to know what's good and what's just overpriced sadness in a glass. Bella is COMMITTED to her craft. She literally told me she studies cocktail recipes day and night. Like... how cute is that? Meanwhile I can barely commit to folding my laundry. Then she proceeds to make me the SMOOTHEST, yummiest espresso martini my tastebuds have ever had the privilege of experiencing. One sip and I was astonished, emotional, slightly turned on, all of the above. This woman has the shake hands of a goddess. I think I fell in love a little bit. Also, shoutout to the super friendly man in the Hawaiian shirt and Bob Ross-style beret. He brought immaculate vibes to the whole place and made the experience even better (for the most part). Anyways, the drinks at this place are phenomenal. 1000% give this place a try. And if you get Bella as your bartender, congratulations- you ARE one of God's favorites.

The chicharrones made quite an impression all around, and everyone raved about their meal. She also reported that it was an additional $4 not $5 for the M-F menu. I would have definitely ordered something different if this was explained at the beginning. The waitress is the one to offer the lunch menu. I don't recommend this dining establishment. There are too many excellent Mexican food places to return to this one.

I came here for my birthday on a Saturday. We had a party of 9 and I made a reservation in advance…read morebecause Saturday night just seems like a busy night to go eat anywhere... but I'm not sure my reservation was totally necessary. They had our table already prepared which was fantastic, but the restaurant was slow and not very busy. We could've just walked in and, other than having to wait for them to prepare our table, been seated right away. Our waitress, Moriah, was fantastic! She had tables on opposite sides of the restaurant, but since they weren't very busy it didn't seem to be an issue. There were a couple of times when we had to ask for drink refills, but it wasn't horrible. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good, and I appreciate that they have some options that you wouldn't find just anywhere. That's the kind of thing I look for in a restaurant. However there were a few places where they fell short. 1. There was no kids menu. This may not be a big deal for a lot of people. It wasn't a big deal for me since my toddler eats pretty much anything, so we shared. It WAS however a big deal for my 6 year-old niece who does NOT eat anything. They told my sister that they could make some butter noodles or take the harissa off of a pizza and make it a smaller size for her. She opted for the butter noodles which were bland and unseasoned. Then they have no salt or pepper on the tables so she couldn't even season them until she asked for some. It helped, but they still weren't very good. 2. The food is overpriced. It's good food, but the prices were a little steep compared to the quality. My sister and I discussed this later and we both had the same thought. We didn't understand why they weren't busy because they had the potential to be, and it just felt like they maybe were trying TOO hard. I would go back, but this wouldn't be a regular choice for me. I'd be happy to go if someone chose this as an option, and I might even choose to go back for a date night or something. I like the atmosphere of the place as well as how open it felt... I don't love a crowded space. Another thing I loved was the Smoked Caramel Bread Pudding. I'm surprised I liked it so much because I don't typically love added smoke flavor, but this worked! Listen, I LOVE bread pudding. If there's ever bread pudding on the menu, I'm going to get it. This being my birthday dinner dessert was absolutely fine by me. The edges were a little caramelized and it was absolutely delicious and everyone who tried it agreed. Give this place a try, but just know that you may pay a little more than what it's worth. It's still tasty food though! Also... try the bread pudding!
