My wife and I tried Thai Silver Spoon 2 evenings ago and the food was awesome! Just be informed that even 1/2 or 1 on the "warm" scale for your food is pretty spicy. My wife and I have been here 4 times, mostly with another couple. We tried it once on a Sat night. Service then was great, food was good, but they didn't have the desserts listed. Comment was chef didn't have time to make them. Other 3 visits were lunchtime. At lunch they didn't have the waitresses that work evenings. The husband of chef serves as the waiter as well as taking orders for carryout and waiting on carryout patrons. Service at lunch is at best adequate. Dishes are served piecemeal. Seems chef cannot keep up even with just 4 people in dining area. Same response from husband about desserts...wife/chef didn't take time to make them. She was busy doing other things. The food is good, but the service has been below par. On three of four trips we had to ask for items we ordered. In fact on one occasion we got the appetizers after the main meal. Same excuse that chef/wife did one dish at a time. So if they added additional cooks and got the night time staff I would rate this as a good place to visit. But either improve lunch time service or just be a dinner restaurant. There are many much better thai restaurants in area. Try one with a proven performance. read more

This place has the best curry!! My kids (ages 2,4 and 7) LOVED the pad thai because it was a little sweet. They delivered to us even though we were a little outside of the 5 miles which was really very nice of them! Will definitely be a repeat customer!! read more

Very quick service! I got the crab rangoons and they were amazing. Cooked perfectly and had plenty of red dipping sauce to cover the others. I got it as delivery so I did not see the store, but was recommended by a friend, so I'll have to go again. read more

I waited for over an hour for my food. I called in my food 30 mins ahead of time. They told me 15 minute wait time. I legit sat in the building for an hour while they served other people! I asked them how much more longer for my take out order. They said 30 mins. I told them I called my food in an hour ago. Then all of sudden they said my food will be done in 10 mins. When I set down they seem to forgot about me I was by myself so as usual everybody begins to speak in a different language wondering who has that one person that sitting by themselves as if nobody can believe that someone's eating alone finally someone comes over to give take my drink order I order spring rolls as well when they come out they seem a little dry and kind of old tasting not the vegetables inside but yet the wrapping of it it almost seems like people don't order spring rolls a whole lot and they seem to have the wrapping sitting around quite a while you know how it seems to have that hardening around the edges like cheese gets. that seem to be what the paper of the wrapping tasted like I ordered a seafood soup but not very spicy and of course came out very spicy and it was mostly mushrooms and very little Seafood like one of each Seafood item that they had maybe two of the items all in all the event cost me a little over $20 which I paid and will not be coming back read more

First and foremost there is better Thai food at several other restaurants in dayton area. One waiter the night myself and family went,he said the yellow curry sauce was the mildest so I ordered that,mildest 1 setting with meat and seafood combo. My son had the red at 21/2. Order came and my yellow was way too hot and spicy,I tried my sons red and it was pleasant . I told the waiter and he insisted they didn't mix the order up and would do nothing about it. I took most home and threw away later,three small shrimp,several pieces of chewy beef and several of chicken for 15 dollars. Few people were there this weekday eve,but in talking to several friends who have gone there with the same bad value for the food received ,I expect this place to close down soon,go somewhere else this place deserves the low rating read more

Visited there for the first time today. The ginger chicken is awesome! The Sticky Rice was very disappointing as it was congealed, hard, and inedible. I will try it again if I go in person to see if it is always that way or if it is a result of bringing it home and not eating it immediately. read more

My husband and i have been here a few times and it is always wonderful! The food is outstanding (we've tried something different each time) and the servers are very attentive. I ordered Tom Yam Soup. Taste was good but it was ice cold. Asked the waitress to heat the soup. She brought it back but it was still cold. I decided not to take the soup. Not much apologies from the waitress. When I got the bill, soup was still charged. I had to ask the waitress to take off the soup. Food was ok but service was not great. read more

I'm hoping we just caught them on a bad night! I gave them two stars because the first time we got takeout from here we liked it enough to be excited to go back. Last night's carry out, however, was not good at all. Our soup and curry were so salty we could not even eat them and had to throw them out, and the noodle dish was just okay.
