Cockroach

Food was great at Thai Smile, but the experience took a bad turn after we spotted a cockroach right beside our table. We were asked to move to a different seat, and the staff promised a 50% discount for the inconvenience but that never happened. We were still charged full price. Really disappointing overall.

**Name changed to Thai Smile & Sushi Bar, previously Happy Thai & Sushi Bar** What a wonderful restaurant. Amazing service, friendly and attentive staff, gentle relaxing ambiance, and delicious food. Portions are generous and price is reasonable. Service: Sometimes takes a minute for the server to get around to you but the wait is worth it. Great recommendations and drink service. Ambiance: Feels traditional but modern. The music consists of soft covers of pop music which weirdly works well. Food: Can't say enough good things. Get anything that looks good, you can't go wrong. Spring rolls are crisp and fall apart in your mouth. Steamed dumplings are just the right amount of chewy. Green tea is smooth, not bitter or over-steeped. Miso soup is delicious. Tuna hand roll is absolutely fantastic. Vegas and Dayton rolls are wonderful. This restaurant is absolutely worth a trip for the Thai or Japanese cuisine lovers. Some of the best sushi in the area!

They give you a bowl for the hibachi you can fill it up with as as much as you want as big as you want with any requests of noodles or rice. Once you turn the bowl in they will serve you the bowl at the table, which gives you time to roam the rest of the buffet. The options were damn near endless and the sushi bar was IMMACULATE. I don't think I've ever seen that many different sushi rolls before. We've got at least 5 different types. They also had different types of salads desserts and other sides to choose from. The hibachi was actually SURPRISINGLY good. Unfortunately we kinda ate something before we impulsively decided to go out to get buffet food. But we were not disappointed at all . 10/10 definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

I'm done with Fusian. I've gone to numerous locations these past two years and have had horrible…read moreservice and food every time. I keep giving them another chance because I love the concept - I'm very picky with sushi, so customization is soooo appreciated. Welp, too bad Fusian just can't seem to get it right. When I walked in to pick up my order there were no other customers. A few employees were huddled in the back corner and one person was making a roll. The roll making employee asked me my name and handed me my order then walked away. That was the entire conversation. No greeting, no smile, no thank you.. didn't even ask if I actually already had an order, just assumed. Not rude, just not friendly either. This honestly did not affect my review. It was a pick up order so I don't really care about the perfect customer service. For this final order, placed online for pick up, I got miso soup and a custom salmon roll with rice on the outside (at least that's what I requested). They made the roll opposite of my request, with rice on the inside, and they didn't close it???? They just rolled it a little then partially sliced it so when I picked up "one" piece, it dragged the entire roll with it and it fell apart completely. I tried to recreate little pieces and pack them together but it didn't work out and I threw it away out of frustration. The miso soup smelled bad and looked even worse. It was hard to capture in a picture but the miso was chunky and hard. I did not even taste it. It looked like it was days old or something. Trash again. I already responded to the companies email asking for me to rate the experience, so I feel comfortable leaving this here for others to be aware that you might not get the best quality here.

Cheap, fast, and ok…read more Parking can be a challenge, the inside seating is limited, and the only options for drinks are water, lemonade, or tea (very limited) The roll could have been rolled tighter where it did not fall apart. The toppings are fresh and it's pretty expensive for what you get. You may want to just go down the road to sake and pay the same price for an amazing sushi roll

The decor is nothing special, though the place was pretty clean. I ordered a lunch special that let me choose 2 entrees so I have more variety. For this, I got the red curry and fried rice, both with pork (because I couldn't choose 2 different proteins, apparently). The red curry did not have much spice nor flavor to it, and honestly all I really tasted was sweetness. That should not be the most prominent flavor profile when having red curry, and it totally threw me off. While the fried rice did taste decent, I was not a big fan of the big chunks of baby corn in it. I personally don't believe baby corn belongs in fried rice of any kind. The other elements of the lunch special, the spring roll and the sweet potato roll, were rather mediocre. Overall, the food was not authentic AND did not taste good, so my experience was pretty bad. The only saving grace for this place was the flavor of the fried rice. Food: 1.5/5 Price: 3.5/5 Overall: 2.25/5

Tasty Takeout and Worth a Return Visit…read more My wife and I tried New Young Chow in Springboro and really enjoyed our meal. She had the sweet and sour chicken, and I had the beef chow mein -- both were delicious and full of flavor. We also ordered the crab rangoon, which wasn't quite up to par compared to the rest of the meal, but not a dealbreaker. Overall, great food and solid service. We'll definitely be going back!

The inside was a bit cluttered and small but looked very clean with approximately 7 booths and 2 tables to seat 6. I did call in my order and the lady that took my order was wast to deal with and even honored with free crab racoon coupon from online with a bill over $40.00. So be sure to checkout the website to score coupons. When I called in I was on a brief hold which was expected for a Friday night. Was told thr food would be ready in 20 minutes and it was ready and bagge up for me. When I did pick up no one greeted me I believe because only 2 was working which I was fine with. Now for the good part. I am pretty disappointed in my self for driving past this place for the last 15 years. I have missed out. For $62.00 we got 1. 4 Teriyaki chicken skewers $7.55 they were pretty small and chewy but the taste was great 2. 6 Crab rangoon free with our order. Full of cream cheese and garlic dipped in sweet n sour. Probably the best take out Rangoon we have had 3. Mongolian Chicken $10.95 with white rice the container was overflowing with green onion, onions, chicken, and a sweet oniony sauce thar hit all the right taste buds. They did mix in the bamboo shots or whatever they are called which I am. Ot a fan of so will ask next time for none, but they were easy to pick out. 4. Sweet n sour chicken $10.95 another big portion and meaty with a golden breading 5. Combination lo mein $10.95 chicken, shrimp, and pork. Again big enough to feed 2 or 3 and really good 6. Pork in garlic sauce $ 9.55 one of my favorite dishes I love how crunchy the broccoli is and tender the prok was.
