Ordering online was a breeze but I didn't realize until we were eating our meals with zero spice that there wasn't an option to choose heat level. My Pad Thai was good and there was more pork in it than other local restaurants, but some spice would have added to it quite a bit. I would order it again, just with a note to add some heat. Don't sleep on this hidden gem! I'm so glad we decided to go here instead of some of the newer, fancy, Thai places. This place is a small mom & pop spot with a few tables for dine-in but it's clear they do most of their business as carry out. Two people working, the chef and then someone waiting tables and helping in the kitchen. We ordered the pumpkin curry and garlic pepper pork. Both were SO DELICIOUS we decided to go back next week to try something else from their huge, authentic menu. The aesthetic here isn't expensive; they are clearly in it for the food and damn did they deliver a great meal. The pumpkin curry is worth the trip all by itself. If you haven't been here please try them out! I should add that the service was not excellent as dine in, but they were slammed and the language barrier is apparent. You can see into the kitchen from the front counter (in case you feel better seeing it done). It took less than 5 minutes from placing my order. The place is spotless and had a relaxed chic vibe. I got two items; an order of Tom Sum soup with chicken and some yellow curry also with chicken. They offered spice levels of 1-4. I chose a 2, and that served me well. The food was never the great. It's a convenient location (for me) and the food is good (not great). The service was also a miss at my last visit. Had to ask for silverware and then I had to ask for the drink I ordered. The portions also seemed to have decreased and the price increased. So double whammy... I prefer paying more for the same serving size... I don't know what the sauce was, but I was spooning it off the plate after we ate all the wings, trying to figure out the flavors. For our main dish Pad Thai with peanuts @ spice level 1 from a range of 0 to 5. You know Richelle doesn't like spicy. 6 nice size shrimp, everything is cooked nicely, love the rice noodles, and the sauce taste good to us. I don't think it's the best Pad Thai I've ever had, but sometimes the past is remembered better that it was. So I will have to eat more Pad Thai to strengthen my palate so I can be a better flavor judge for you. Staff was friendly and attentive. I notice after we were done eating there is seating where you can watch the kitchen magic. Check out the bill, I think this is very affordable for the quality and portion size. From the outside it's not impressive. It's located in a small strip mall. The dining room doesn't have that much room. It has a pretty big menu. This is made not as complicated by having it organized by daily specials. It has a lunch special of two items. These are about $7 and change each weekday. I had the pad Thai and the red curry pumpkin. The pad Thai was made without eggs and had tofu. It was spicy enough. The pumpkin was good because it's not all that common in Asian cuisine to have pumpkin. I would come here again. It has great lunch specials for very cheap. "Freshy Rolls" (rice paper wrapped shrimp & veggie rolls) were almost all cabbage and were missing some the fresh veggie and herb flavor I was looking for. The Smiley Chicken (grilled chicken with zucchini, carrots, broccoli and Bok Choi in a teriyaki sauce) gave me the vegetables I was craving but the chicken was absolutely hammered, way over cooked, dried out and chewy. I really love this spot. The boba tea is amazing and the tapioca is always hot and fresh - and I always get the pumpkin curry with chicken, its my favorite!! The mango sticky rice tastes "instant/box ready" and could be a lot better, but even after moving a bit further away I still make the trip up here. You can choose your hot level from 1-4, 4 being the hottest. I usually go with a 3 and its got enough kick for me. A few dishes I'd recommend.. Thai basil chicken, pad see ew, and red curry all great. Basil fried rice was also really good as well as the bbq chicken on a stick. If you haven't had thai tea its delicious but extremely sweet. Its a small and cute restaurant. Family run i believe. Big parking lot. Its dangerous bc I love thai food and this place is down the street! Very mediocre food. It was neither great nor terrible. The lunch menu is very affordable which is great if you're on a budget. My coworker ordered the pineapple fried rice, which she said had a mix of very salty or bland bites as she ate. The crab rangoon was more cream cheese than crab. My beef pad Thai was very sweet and lacked salt and peanuts. Also, the wonton soup was very salty so I couldn't finish it.
