Not a bad little joint. At lunch, they have a daily special for $7.99 (I think) When I went the special was combo basil fried rice and sweet and sour chicken (Thai style not Chinese sweet and sour). Lunch combo came with a veggie spring roll and a small salad too. Overall value, lot of food for the price. Food quality seemed a bit iffy felt like it was just a step up from what Trader Joe's offered in the frozen food section. That being said, maybe I came in the wrong combo day. Honestly surprised by this place. I've been a huge fan of Pad See Ewe and this place did not disappoint. Great portions for such an affordable price. The Thai Tea is extremely yummy and so is the Green Tea Bubble Tea. They have extremely fast service and my husband really enjoys the red curry with vegetables. He doesn't have a huge tolerance for spice, and he really likes this place as well. If you're in Centerville and you're looking for a filling meal, go to Nida's and get yourself some great Thai food! read more

Absolutely fantastic little spot in Centerville. The Pad Thai, potato yellow curry, and coconut soup were so good that my ol' lady and I came back the next night...to get the same thing. The food is very very good (I don't claim to know what "authentic" Thai food tastes like, but I hope it tastes like Nida's), and it is very reasonably priced. They ask you to choose your level of hotness (1-4) for each entree, which is pretty awesome. The Pad Thai is the best I've ever had. Really really awesome. Lady got the yellow curry and coconut soup and both were incredible. It comes in a soup bowl with a side of white rice. We recommend soaking the rice in the coconut soup broth, then mixing in the curry. It's wonderful. Had Thai iced teas the first night we went, and they were also the best we've ever had. They come already mixed, which I guess is the only down side (I like watching the tea and cream mix together..but it's not the end of the world to have it mixed before I get it). The service is really great too. We had the same waitress both nights, and she couldn't have been nicer. She remembered us and our orders the second night we came in, and she was super nice. She was on top of our refills both nights as well--which is good in a restaurant that serves spicy food. Highly recommend. read more

I got a Yelp account just to write this review. Today was my first visit to Nida Thai Cuisine (and to a Thai restaurant in general), and let me tell you, I was nowhere near ready for the exceptional quality of the service and food that I received. I ordered the Thursday lunch special (Pad Thai, green curry, rice, spring roll, side salad), and every bite was like a symphony of flavors in my mouth. The entire meal was simply incredible. I also ordered the bubble tea per my friend's recommendation, and now I'm going to recommend that you also indulge in this unique, yet outrageously tasty tea. (Don't worry when you suck up the bubbles with your straw--they're made of tapioca, which is perfectly safe to eat.) Nida Thai Cuisine is ridiculously good. I'm already planning to go again soon. Nida Thai's chicken rice noodle soup has filled the Pho Mi-sized hole in my children's hearts. We have been searching for a replacement for our frequent pho cravings since Pho Mi was sold and the broth recipe changed. The rest of our meals were great also. read more

Delicious food and fresh ingredients. Pricing is fair. From pineapple fried rice to pad thai to mixed vegetables, we have enjoyed many entrees here. The freshy rolls are good, but we don't usually order them because you don't get a lot for the money. They do great, fast carry-out, and dine-in is pleasant for casual fare. We love Nida. Every item that we ordered was just made to perfection; the boba Thai tea, the veggie rolls, the pineapple fried rice... They know exactly how to season their food to make you fall in love with it. Had the pumpkin curry and pad Thai. Pumpkin chunks had pieces of rind still on in places. Bit of an unpleasant grainy texture. Pad Thai was very oily and I prefer mine a lot more seasoned. We tossed the rest of the food since it was obviously badly prepared. I tried this place a year ago and have never had the desire to go back after those chunks of inedible pumpkin rind. This is one of my favorite Centerville restaurants. Locally owned, super delicious. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate their flexibility in providing a vegetarian version for nearly every option on their menu. Plus, the bubble tea is fantastic. I've gotten nearly everything on the menu at this point and I've loved everything. It's super affordable, it's never crowded, and I've never had to wait too long. I really appreciate this place. Have you ever gone out to a restaurant only to find out that you ordered the wrong dish? Well that is what I did. I ordered the Thai Salad with chicken. What I did not like was that the chicken was ground meat ( yes, like ground up taco meat) and the spices in the meat were so hot that my mouth was on fire. I really could not enjoy the salad, so my husband gave me half of his meal. He ordered the smiley chicken (grilled chicken breast) w/ veggies and white rice. The teriyaki sauce that they make for this dish was excellent. We also split the crab rangoon with hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce. This appetizer was awesome!!!. My suggestion is that if you like your spicy food "med heat" like me you need to "TELL THEM THIS". If not you may get a dish that is so spicy you can't even enjoy it. Needless to say I will be going here again very soon and ordering the smiley chicken :) read more

Came here randomly driving down Franklin with my father. While there are plenty of Thai restaurants to go to in the area, this one proves the most unique in it's flavor. The red pumpkin curry was something I'd never had before and was very delicious - and the Pad See Ew's sweet soy sauce was on point. I just moved to the area and have been looking for a place to get my favorite Thai dishes. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. I ordered a basic, Pad Thai to-go, for my first try of the place and it was an awful experience. It tasted like mush. Noodles were over done and I'm pretty sure my shrimp was pre-cooked before it ever in reached the restaurant. Just gross. The tofu pad Thai and the Thai basil with the chicken had a very good flavor. The Thai basil with chicken had the chicken pieces chopped up like little bits of sausage which I appreciate it. The crab Rangoon was presented like a zucchini flower shape. The freshy roll was delicious!! The peanut sauce served with it had an excellent taste.
