Chicken Garden
Stephanie D.

Pleasant calm ambience and servers with beautiful smiles. My friend and I had lunch here today for the first time. My friend ordered chicken garden and I got chicken tamarind, both with a "1" mild spice rating. So good! We each received a bowl of rice and ample servings, and brought home leftovers. Glad we ordered mild because there was a bit of spice heat but it complimented each dish nicely. Also, if you don't care for bell pepper or a vegetable item on the menu, you can request they leave it out and it's fine. For the amount of food you receive for the price, tasty menu items, and quick service, we will be returning!

We came in for a late lunch on a Saturday around 3 pm. We were the only customers, and the staff working were very nice and friendly!! Our food was absolutely outstanding, both the apps and the entrees. We got Thai rolls and cream cheese crispies, both very tasty. I got the Drunken Man with chicken, she got Shrimp Pad Thai. We both agreed our meals were some of the best Thai we've had in the area, and we both could only eat about half the serving. Highly recommend, will be back!!!

Born in Thai and eating Thai all my life, spoiled by amazing LA Thai food, this place has been the most authentic Thai place I've ever had in Ohio. The service is personal and ambiance is super pretty and authentic. Believe me when I say it's the best.

Food is good but not consistent. The pad woon sen I got tonight was more like a stir fry. Missing snap peas and was full of veggies to the point there was barely any noodles. I also got the tom kha and it has 3 pieces of tofu. Very expensive for the little you get. I'm pretty upset over the noodles.

Best Thai around. Will be back. Small place. Totally adds to the atmosphere laid back and nice staff. Food is amazing.

An absolute gem of a place. The interior is nicely decorated and the staff are friendly, polite and the service was good. I got 1. Papaya Salad (4/5) which was good and a tad bit spicy. It could use some peanuts. I also got the spicy duck (5/5)- spice level 3. An absolutely amazing dish. The best duck I have had in recent times. The aroma of fried basil, the crunchy and soft duck coupled with few veggies was perfect. I would highly recommend this dish to anyone who want to try duck. I am definitely going here again.

My friend and I met up here when we were close near by and had no dinner plans. What a find. What looked like a hole in the wall from outside (seriously they have a drive thru and I couldn't even tell if they had seating) is actually very nice! We were seated quickly despite pretty solid business for a Friday evening, and a small dining room. I ordered a ginger salad and the three flavors duck (waitress recommendation after I said I wanted duck) and my friend the pad see ee. I got mine medium spice, and she none. The ginger salad was alright, with large pieces of cucumber and hearts of romaine, a very sweet ginger dressing, and... Noknife to cut it. I managed to shovel them in with my fork but before I got halfway done our entrees were at the table. Good sized servings, though not giant by any means, lots of veggies, and these beautiful flower cut carrots for decoration (or eating in my case). My friend enjoyed her dish, and my own was fine. The fried duck was heavier than I wanted and the sauce was WAY too sweet. It completely overwhelmed the fresh, crispy veggies, and the taste of the duck itself. But again, they were quick, the food was good and I'll gladly return!

Service was very friendly and all the precautions were taken during these Covid times. Only saw one other table dining in, and many others picking up carry out. There's even a drive thru window to pick up food which stayed pretty busy. Started with an appetizer platter for two...coconut shrimp, spring rolls, cream cheese ragoon, and other tasty treats. That's where I should have stopped, cause it filled us up. I'll remember that next time. Had shrimp yellow curry for my entree. It was OK. My partner in crime had bourbon chicken and said it was good. Portions were huge...she took hers home to hubby. I left mine, cause my hubby would have turned his nose up. If you're a Thai fan, by all means give this place a try.

Enjoying a Happy Birthday dinner with wifey at one of our fave spots. Appetizers were amazing, hot and very delicious. I had Paragon shrimp and she had Hawaiian fried rice w shrimp and chicken. Food was blazing hot and full of flavor.

Hawaiian fried rice, served in half a pineapple.

Every time we eat here we wonder why we ever go anywhere else! The food is always amazing, consistently pleasant and efficient service. The atmosphere is calming and comfortable. Run, don't walk, just get here! You will not be disappointed!

I went to Penn's Thai Grille. I loved how the inside of restaurant looked. It was cool. Tried there pad Thai with combination of chicken, shrimp and beef. It was delicious. I only went with heat level 2 but after a few bites you definitely taste it! The portions you get are huge! I will be having left overs for sure. I definitely recommend this place.

I'm glad there's a solid Thai restaurant in town…read more I ordered the Khao Soi with chicken and tofu. It's a curry noodle soup featuring soft noodles in a flavorful curry broth, topped with crispy noodles. My meal also came with a plate of white rice and a small bowl of broth with rice. I enjoyed the Khao Soi overall. The curry was flavorful and buttery. However, it was a little more watery than I prefer, and while it was good, it wasn't quite as good as the best Khao Soi I've had elsewhere. I also would have preferred traditional egg noodles instead of the wider white noodles used here. One thing I would have liked to see was more vegetables. There was certainly no shortage of carbs--I ended up with both rice and noodles left over. The small bowl of broth was tasty, but I'm not used to having rice soaking in it. Personally, I would have preferred vegetables as a substitute for the rice since the dish already came with plenty of carbs. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would be happy to return when I'm craving Thai food.

When we (5 of us) first sat down we waited about 10 minutes without a server stopping by so I went to the front and asked that we get 2 crab ragoon plates. Another 10 minutes later and I again went to the front and asked if our server would stop by and take our order. (Still no crab ragoon) Once we ordered our dinner the crab ragoon came out. There was 4 to a plate, well prepared and delicious, Next the dinners. First one plate. Then more than 10 minutes later 2 more but delivered without rice. Next one more plate and the rice for the other 2. I had the red curry with tofu. A really good curry but the tofu was mushy. My SO had the red curry with chicken. We both ordered a level 4 out of 5 and it was what I would call mild. It's an independent restaurant that makes very good Thai food but it lacks in servicing.

The decor is nothing special, though the place was pretty clean. I ordered a lunch special that let me choose 2 entrees so I have more variety. For this, I got the red curry and fried rice, both with pork (because I couldn't choose 2 different proteins, apparently). The red curry did not have much spice nor flavor to it, and honestly all I really tasted was sweetness. That should not be the most prominent flavor profile when having red curry, and it totally threw me off. While the fried rice did taste decent, I was not a big fan of the big chunks of baby corn in it. I personally don't believe baby corn belongs in fried rice of any kind. The other elements of the lunch special, the spring roll and the sweet potato roll, were rather mediocre. Overall, the food was not authentic AND did not taste good, so my experience was pretty bad. The only saving grace for this place was the flavor of the fried rice. Food: 1.5/5 Price: 3.5/5 Overall: 2.25/5

Don't let the terrible I mean terrible service scare you away. The food will blow you away…read more We walked in no one in the parking lot and was wondering why since the reviews are really good. We were Also the only ones in the restaurant. Anyways she was really rude and didn't greet us, we got 0 refills and was not checked on the entire time dining in. So I am assuming that is why it could have been empty at 6pm. Worse service we have ever seen and we go out to eat often. We will try it one more time hoping for better service since the food was amazing but if the lady is working again and has a chip on her shoulder we will not go back no matter how good the food was. I hope the owner sees this and quickly trainers her. Now for the good part the food 10/10 and the prices were really good as well. Presentation was not pretty but we don't care about that. 1. Thia fried rice yes I know you see the picture and it looks so bland but it is far from being bland so many great flavors that will keep you going back for more. 2. Drunkin noodles the noodle texture was so nice thick rice noodles and the sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and salty 3. Tom yum noodle soup is my go to when I am ordering Thia. This one was pretty good, I do recommend getting a spice level since I didn't order it with any. It was a bit sweet. But still pretty good. 4. Fish cakes and the chicken dumplins they were ok but wouldn't order again. The inside was very clean and nicely decorated with plenty of seating and parking outside.

On this grand August day, my wife is chanting Kee Mow, Kee Mow, Kee Mow…read more... I am guessing she is interested in Kee Mow, and more. Thai Street Noodles is about a five minute drive with lots of parking in a "Mom and Pop" very neat Thai restaurant. Always a great greeting, and although our mission is Kee Mow, the menu must be consulted because my wife frequently changes her mind.... Excellent service in this small authentic Thai restaurant. Let's order: Steamed dumplings, veggie spring rolls, chicken Tom Yum soup, Kee Mow, roasted duck curry with rice, and sticky rice with mango. We cannot possible consume all of this food, and the server prepares the surplus togo. We both prefer spicy; spicy is a variable on a continuum - we elect 3 of 4 in spiciness (synonyms: spice, spicery. types: bite, pungency, raciness, sharpness. a strong odor or taste property. nip, piquance, piquancy, piquantness, tang, tanginess, zest....) Always a great dining experience, and we recommend. The tariff is appropriate for the fare.
