Me and my boo ordered take out from here and I switched it up and got pepper steak and rice and he got sweet and sour chicken. I also ordered wonton soup for the first time but I don't know it was filled with pork so unfortunately I couldn't even eat it. The pepper steak was super good though I did wish they added more steak because it was definitely a lot of peppers. The chicken fried rice threw us off because the chicken just looked liked they tore it up and threw it in the rice. It didn't look like chicken fried rice but overall it wasn't bad. My boo ordered the sweet and sour chicken and he liked it. The fortune cookies were chocolate which I never heard of before so that was interesting. We ordered DoorDash and the order was correct and the food was still hot. I got the Hunan chicken and it was pretty darn good. My fiancée got Moo Goo Gai Pan and he loved it...personally I thought it was bland. It's a little pricey for the amount of food you get but it is good quality and deserves all four stars! read more

Ordered take out using their website. A little cumbersome when checking out, but otherwise is easy to enter food selections. I ordered the sushi deluxe and a small miso soup. The menu did not appear to indicate that the entree already came with a small miso soup and a salad with traditional ginger dressing. The freshness and size of the sushi entree was phenomenal! In fact, to my disappointment, I couldn't finish it all! The food was ready when I expected it to be and the staff was quite pleasant and helpful. I had input a special request for low sodium soy sauce. Not only did I receive regular soy sauce, but only one measly packet. Certainly insufficient for the amount of sushi - 9 pieces of Nigirizushi and one tuna roll. The selection of fish was excellent. All in all, I would order from here again! read more

TERRIBLE! Do not eat here, I've ordered chow Mein from dozens of different restaurants, in different countries. Its never been a flavorless bowl of mushy cabbage with chicken, that looks like it's already been digested. I've read other reviews and this is their standard chow Mein! It wasn't even a mistake! If somehow I am mistaken and this is how chow Mein is traditionally served, I would be shocked. I find it hard to believe anyone would find this edible let alone tasty. This is definitely one of the better Chinese and Japanese restaurant in Dayton. I believe there is another location in the city of Moraine as well. I have not visited that location but have dined at this establishment multiple times. I have dined at many Chinese and Japanese restaurants in LA and it is not the same as CJ Chan, however, this place does the job of satisfying a craving for this type of cuisine. The restaurant itself is quite small and does offer seating but can be very crowded during their lunch and dinner hours. Many people decide to order takeout. Their lunch specials are so affordable! It's about $5-$6 for a lunch sized portion meal which comes with either Egg Drop Soup or an Egg Roll. For this visit, we decided to order the Japanese Bento Box which is delicious! It comes with Chicken Tempura, Salad, Miso Soup, and California Rolls. The Chicken Tempura is fried perfectly and pairs so well with the Tempura dipping sauce. At one time I would have given this restaurant five stars! I absolutely loved their cashew chicken. The last two times I visited and ordered cashew chicken because it is my favorite and I tend to be rather mundane and boring and get the same exact thing every single time. But hey! There were actually five cashews in the entire dish and about 20 peanuts. I paid for cashew chicken. However this time I got six whole cashews and no peanuts to compensate! This is very disappointing.... When I order cashew chicken and in all honesty I would like cashew chicken with more than six cashew nuts because this is why you pay more because cashew nuts are expensive right? And the flavor is just a party in your mouth if you get your order with actual cashew nuts in it right? This last visit will be just that... My last visit! I like nuts... And when I order something with nuts... I want nuts! This entire situation IS NUTS! You guys have to do better to be better. Yes I'm completely and totally Petty about my nuts! A gal just knows! I have been searching for an awesome Chinese restaurant for a few years now. Trying different ones in the Dayton area. Unfortunately, I tried the Moraine location last year and didn't care for it so I always ruled this one out. Well tonight we decided to try the Dayton location and we were not let down! Our search is over... the egg rolls are awesome! Not super greasy like other locations. We also got General Tso and Beef with Broccoli. Both were excellent. The beef was fresh and not gummy like many other restaurants we have had in the past. It was seasoned well and the sauce wasn't overpowering. My only complaint is that I wish I would have ordered the dinner portions and not the combo so I could have it for lunch tomorrow. read more

I'm pretty apprehensive of places that combine more than Japanese food or "Japanese" Steakhouses and it didn't help that our server didn't know what Chirashi was. Good indicators of this place started off with the miso soup and salad. The salad wasn't covered in a gross creamy dressing but rather a fresh ginger dressing and the miso soup wasn't watered down like a lot of places can be. My friend who got Chinese fried rice dishes ordered the small potions and they were so generous with the helping! Wish they were able to bring the food all together, one of my friends was left out. Typically Chirashi is served in a bowl with cold rice on the bottom and fish on top so I was little thrown off by the plating but the furikake on the warm rice. Wish there was at least one slice of egg. But a very fulfilling portion especially for the price. We came for early Sunday dinner. The sushi was very good, fresh and melt in your mouth. My husband ordered shrimp and broccoli which he enjoyed. The shrimp gyoza was steamed, which was different than I am used to, but it was probably the best I have ever tried. My only complaint is that they are not closer to my house.
