Katsu don and chicken teriyaki

The food here is excellent! Service was friendly but a bit slow despite the restaurant being near empty. Decor was sparse, but the place was clean overall just dated.

Came back to Song's and wanted to try their beef short ribs. They offer dinner and lunch serving options. I ordered the lunch portion and got a boxed lunch with my short ribs. Everything tasted delicious! The short ribs were tasty and tender, the fried squash was sooo crispy, you could hear a loud crunch in each bite, and the diced apples and cucumbers were a nice refreshing sampler to the savory food. The whole plate was a great sampler of different food and left me stuffed. Definitely my go-to meal here.

Amazing sushi and appetizers, plus so many Japanese and Korean entrees that I still need to try. The chef (aka mom!) is so talented and her son who is one of the servers is the sweetest Ambiance is on point for a sushi restaurant, with traditional decor that is simple and cozy.

This review is not about the food as I did not get the chance to try it. I needed to go to the restroom before ordering. The smell as you're approaching the restrooms is disgusting. Upon my entering the restroom, there were two oriental cockroaches. They were on their back indicating they had come into contact with some sort of poison. Shows the restaurant is trying to treat them. However, after the smell and seeing the roaches, I was less than interested in dining in.

Under new Management and all I can say is AMAZING!!! The food is fresh and so flavorful. I come in as often as I can to get some authentic Korean dishes.

Nice little place my brother and me found on the way to a Jackson Browne concert. It's a small place and we had to wait awhile because they were under staffed, one waitress and two prepping all of the food. But, the food was worth the wait! You start with a choice of miso soup or a salad, we chose the miso which was hot and flavorful. I ordered two orders of Gyoza (8 pieces) to get us started. It was the best Gyoza I've had since being n Korea. Fried perfectly, full of flavor with a great dipping sauce. We ordered two different sushi rolls, the Mango Tango and the Eel Roll. The Mango tango was great, a mix of sweet and spicy, smoked salmon, mango and jalapeño. The Eel roll was outstanding also, I loved the sauce that was drizzled on it!

This was a nice little place. Great service. The rolls were really good. I tried a couple of rolls. Would try them again.

So many choices, but I'm still deep in my "neeeeeeeeed Korean comfort food" phase, so I went for the dolsot bibimbop hot pot and was not disappointed. PERFECT for a cold, wintery day!! They also offer wonderful banchan (small plate) appetizers, so there's no way you'll leave hungry!! Quick service, reasonable prices, and great variety, what's not to love?? Next time, I'll have to try some of their tempting sushi options...

Mama's Boy Roll & Lovely Lady Roll
Sam U.

Ordered some takeout after hearing some of my friends hype this place up. When I looked online I wasn't sure if they were still in business as their Facebook page hasn't been updated since 2016. Well, they are definitely open. I ordered the Mama's Boy and Lovely Lady Rolls. Of the two, the lovely lady was definitely my favorite of the two. I will be back for sure. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for some decent Ohio sushi.

It's a small unassuming building with fairly limited seating, but just enough for those in the know! Service was quick and super friendly despite them having a busy day, just remember to pay at the register when you are done. The fish dishes are super popular because they were out of them when we went, so that's next on our list to try!

I have tried quite a few things on the menu, and my top two are the ojingeo-bokkeum (stir fried spicy squid) and japchae (stir fried noodles made from sweet potato starch). They are both consistently delicious. I like that they will make things actually spicy if you want it that way. Too many places will tone down the spice level when I order it as a 4-5/5. The banchan is always good too! I have tried to make the cheonsachae (kelp salad) at home, but it just doesn't taste the same. I could eat my weight in that stuff! The restaurant itself isn't much to look at, it's a bit old and run down, but always seems clean. I have never used their bathroom, which is located around the back of the building. My husband uses it every time we go and he's never complained about it. The servers are hit or miss. The last time we went we had a great server, but sometimes they can be less bubbly than most Americans prefer.

The sleek, modern décor makes it feel both stylish and inviting. Since it's still new, it was quite busy with plenty of people eager to check it out. We expected a wait, and sure enough, there was one. The only downside is that the front area isn't designed for waiting -- there's just a small bench and not much space to stand without being in the way. The staff, however, were attentive and worked quickly to seat everyone. We were initially told the wait would be 45 minutes and were about to leave, but as we turned to go, they let us know it had dropped to 20-30 minutes, so we decided to stay. Right before being seated, we learned that everyone at the table needs to choose either the Kpot or BBQ option. We weren't familiar with how it worked, so we went with BBQ. Once seated, it felt a bit overwhelming at first -- the booths are very large! I'm on the shorter side, so I found it a little difficult to get comfortable since I had to lean forward quite a bit to reach the table. The food itself was okay -- tasty to me but not outstanding -- I think I just got impatient with the grilling. The prices were on the higher side. Still, the overall experience was exciting and fun. It's definitely a great place to go with a group if you're looking for something lively and different.

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot offers an "all-you-can-eat" dining experience in which customers cook their own food at the table. Guests can choose between Korean BBQ, hot pot, or both, and then order a variety of raw meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles via iPad. Standing buffet seems sparse, and do rely on ipad and servers to bring a variety of noodles, veggies, rice, broths, meats, and seafood to your table for cooking. Tanya was our very informed server who talked very fast, but learn by experience was our task. Nicely remolded property which permitted a few parent with screaming children to cause us regret at selecting a lunch. Kpot has the potential of being a nice date night location - depends on screaming children who are in attendance. Travel tip, there is another Asian buffet on Kingsridge Drive. We like the newness of the property, the menu, the service, the food, and the overall experience. Kpot seems to be doing a thriving business, and this is a small chain.

She cooks the same things for us that she cooks for herself. Today, I had a hunger for bi bim bop, but she removed that from the menu. Instead, I got chop chae/jap chae and she added what we would call side items in a restaurant. She also poured some soup since I was the last one eating before close. The soup was okay but it probably would have tasted better if I had eaten it first. The mix of the jap chae and kim chi threw it off. In any case, I enjoyed it as much for the taste as it felt like eating at someone's house. There wasn't a thought of "this is restaurant food". It wasn't. It was home-cooked food. Sure, we've all been to a house where someone couldn't cook, but this wasn't the case. It was consistent with Korean restaurants all over the U.S.A.
