I ordered the Classic Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup, lamb skewers, and chicken gizzard skewers. The noodle soup was comforting, with fresh, springy noodles and a light, soothing broth. The beef itself was tender but lacked flavor. The skewers were decent overall, though they were heavily seasoned to the point where it overpowered the meat. The servers were friendly, but they didn't check in very often and took a while to bring the check at the end. We weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us. The shop itself is fairly small, giving it a more casual and cozy feel with cat paintings hanging from the wall.

Really tasty noodles! We got the spicy Dan Dan noodles, beef noodle soup, and potstickers! The waitress spoke Chinese which was quite impressive. Service was very kind and quick! It's a casual noodle place near an Asian market too!

Fried Shrimp Crisps ($3)

Highlight: Hot Green Tea with free refills ($2), BBQ Lamb Skewer ($3) and BBQ Chicken Gizzards Skewer ($3), Fried Shrimp Crisps ($3), Cucumber Salad ($6), Summer Delight Cold Noodles ($12.95) The lamb skewer had a good chew, and the gizzard had a good crunch, but the seasoning was strong and extra peppery. Shrimp chips came in different sizes and fun colors, crunchy with a hint of shrimp. Sour and crunchy, the cucumber salad had a hint of saltiness. I ordered the wrong entree dish, but the noodles were chewy and firm. The pickled veggies were a bit too pickled for my personal taste, so they overpowered the rest of the dish, making it too sour for me. Hospitality: Friendly service; one server took care of all of the tables. Honorable Mention: Small, cozy restaurant with limited seating. Super affordable prices.

I got Dan Dan noodles to go, the hand pulled noodles. I doubt I'm imagining it, but eating this seems to have cured some digestive issues I've had. Weird and very welcome. It was delicious. I got my order to go and it was mere minutes and I was on my way home smelling this delicious aroma.

This authentic Asian restaurant is attached to an Asian market, which is always a good sign. The inside is rather small with only a few tables. We placed an order to-go and walked around the market while it was prepared. We ordered dumplings, chicken fried rice, and chicken noodle stir fry. Lunch portions are around $10. The chicken fried rice was hearty, but a bit bland. I added a significant amount of sriracha to give it more flavor. My SO really enjoyed the chicken noodle stir fry. I didn't taste it, so I can't comment but she mentioned the sauce tasting really good. The dumplings weren't good at all. The dough was too soggy, essentially falling apart and the filling was too dry. We only tried one each and threw the rest out. Overall, our experience was hit and miss, hence 3 stars. That said, we would probably give it another shot.

Came here on a Sunday evening as a party of two. There were two other tables with customers. The establishment itself is so run down/in renovation. We thought it was closed. It also doesn't help that it's in the middle of nowhere. The staff were having their dinner and serving us which was interesting to say the least. The service was helpful enough. We ordered the Classic Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup XL, Cucumber Salad, Dan Dan Hand Stretched Noodles, and House Made Dumplings/wonton with Szechuan Sauce. It was way more than enough food for two people. The cucumber salad could've been fresher, that's for sure. The Noodle soup lacked flavor, which we dumped the Dan Dan sauce and chili sauce into. The Dan Dan noodles were the best I've had. So flavorful. As for the Szechuan wonton/dumplings, so homemade and delicious it made my tongue go numb! The prices were reasonable, coming from SoCal folk. I also had leftovers for lunch/dinner the next day. I recommend stopping here for authentic food in OH.

Visiting town for a conference. Decided to try this place out! Ordered takeout so didn't see the location. Dan Dan noodles were spicy and delicious. Dumplings were also tasty and everything seems fresh and handmade. What a treat! I'll probably be trying something else before leaving town!

Good noodles. subpar broth and meat

I got a hand-pulled noodle soup. Noodles are chewy and definitely better than the typical sry noodles. However, the broth is just bouillon water and the meat in the meat stew is subpar. Next time I'd try the noodle but not in soup or broth. Service was efficient no-frills.

The food was amazing!!! The portion was large, everything we order was super yummy. The waiter is attentive and got our order straight away, and the restaurant was small but feels homey. Would definitely come back again

What an amazing hidden gem in the heart of Dayton. If you are looking for some authentic Asian gourmet homemade cuisines please check out Kung Foo Noodle located on Dixie Drive. Talk about homemade noodles and dumplings made fresh daily and with such passion. We located this placed based on friend's recommendation. I will have to say the food is the most authentic and traditional Asian dishes right from Dayton but recipes straight from traditional Asia signatures dishes. The ambiance was low to moderate noise level. Cute and quant restaurant with about 10 tables. The service was definitely a five star based on the fact that we arrived and was immediately greeted with a bright smile from our server Maria. The appetizers were served in less than 10 minutes. The entrees were brought out to us piping hot in less than 15 minutes. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered pan fried dumplings and steamed dumplings. The dumplings came with a soy and rice vinegar sauce homemade from scratch. We ordered the garlic bok choy which was super fresh and full of flavors. Highly recommended the bok choy. We ordered sides of the cucumbers and the pickled cabbage. The cucumbers were a good start to the meal. It was fresh and lightly season with spices. The pickled cabbage was aged well. It could have used a little more flavor. We also ordered Dan Dan Noodles definitely a bit on the spicy side but all the noodles were hand crafted or no artificial ingredients. Next up we ordered Chicken wonton soup and Braised beef noodle soup, and Braised Pork over rice with Bok Choy. The soups all had freshly made hand stretched noodles. The broths were all homemade and fresh tasting with the right amount of flavors. All the dishes were pretty amazing with the right amount of flavors and spices. The portions were a large amount and definitely worth sharing. The prices were absolutely reasonable and such a great deal compared to ordinary restaurants. I would say low to moderately priced handmade dishes. Highly recommend this authentic asian restaurant hidden in the heart of Dayton for dine in or carryout. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive if north or south of town. Very difficult to find homemade Asian entrees made with perfection and passion. There were multiple chefs in the kitchen wrapping dumplings and hand pulling noodles. Good family authentic dining experience with minimal wait time.

Ok, did you ever think noodles could be this good? A place could secretly have this awesome vibe? A server could be so nice? Go here. You won't regret it.

The hand crafted noodles are delicioussss. Ordered the braised beef noodles which were yummy and the tomato Meg noddle which was a good comfort meal type of soup dish. The main highlight was the Dan Dan noodles which had such good flavor. HD a little bit of spice and would highly recommend to try if you stop by here.

2. Braised Beef Noodle Soup

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hand pulled noodles here! The house made noodles were chewy and perfectly cooked. The broth for the braised beef noodle soup was really savory with lots of cilantro and scallions for added flavor. The soup also had tomatoes and bok choy. If you like it spicy like me then you can add their hot chili oil for added heat! The portion of noodles was generous even for the regular size so it was worth the price. The service was efficient and friendly as well. There is limited indoor seating so I recommend going with a smaller group. The restaurant is located right next to an Asian market so you can shop and eat in one trip!

The noodles texture was very chewy and on the thinner side. The texture held up really well throughout and the portion was great for the price. The mala noodle soup with flank steak was definitely spicier and saltier, and it had beef intestines in it. If you're into intestines, this could be a good choice for you. The server gave us time to look at the menu in line before we ordered at the counter. While we decided she prepared a table for us with water and silverware ready. I should probably mention she asked me what spice level for the Pad Thai (1 to 5), and I said 0. Lol. While we waited for our food (less than five minutes), we admired the beautiful restaurant and saw many Doordashers and other people picking up take-out orders. While we were there, only one other party joined us in the dining room, but there were at least 7 take-out orders. When the food arrived, it was really hot and smelled amazing. When I took my first bite of my Pad Thai, my immediate involuntary response was to verbalize a big mmmmmmm. I haven't experienced Pad Thai that good in 20 years! I let Hubby have a taste, and his reaction was the same! The duck in his soup was expertly cooked, and the broth was perfectly flavorful. We chatted a bit with the server, telling her how good everything was. We will definitely be back and maybe as soon as next weekend!
