Really delicious mango rice pudding. I ordered 3 of the Mango Rice desserts, only strange thing was that two of the three, the rice was dyed. One was blue, one was green and one was undyed. I was leery of this upon opening the bag, but I have to report, it did not change the taste. Not sure why they did this. I've lived all over and have probably had this dish at 20 different Thai restaurants, it's the only time I've ever seen the rice dyed. Interesting take, but I try to avoid dyes. Hubby and I visited Time For Noodle for a late lunch (about 2 p.m.) on a Saturday afternoon. We walked in and were immediately greeted. The server gave us time to look at the menu in line before we ordered at the counter. While we decided she prepared a table for us with water and silverware ready. We started with an order of avacado egg rolls. I ordered the Pad Thai, and hubby ordered the Duck Noodle Soup. I should probably mention she asked me what spice level for the Pad Thai (1 to 5), and I said 0. Lol. While we waited for our food (less than five minutes), we admired the beautiful restaurant and saw many Doordashers and other people picking up take-out orders. While we were there, only one other party joined us in the dining room, but there were at least 7 take-out orders. When the food arrived, it was really hot and smelled amazing. When I took my first bite of my Pad Thai, my immediate involuntary response was to verbalize a big mmmmmmm. I haven't experienced Pad Thai that good in 20 years! I let Hubby have a taste, and his reaction was the same! The duck in his soup was expertly cooked, and the broth was perfectly flavorful. Stopped in on a whim for a tiny treat for myself. I ordered the Hokkaido milk tea with regular boba but when I went to pick it up they were still waiting on the boba to finish cooking so I opted for the brown sugar jellies instead. Glad to know they make their boba fresh and the lady at the counter was very nice about it. The ragoons were super tasty (don't think I've ever met one I didn't like) but they were not super warm by the time I got home which is the worst part of take out. Guess I'll have to eat in the restaurant next time! Service was great and they did have a selection of different Asian products you can buy like curry paste and lots of other goodies. True Score- 2.23/5 Stars I really want to love this place more. You might see the menu and think "wow, the selection is huge!" But, that doesn't mean it is all great. The pot stickers and Pad Thai are by far the best dishes I have had here. The Honeymoon Chicken is good, but the portion is very small for the price. Same with the Siam Pork. If they gave you a bit more meat, it might actually be worth it. For me, this is only a place to eat if I really want some Pad Thai. Not good! My partner and I ordered from Time 4 Noodle again tonight. Last time we thought everything was amazing, unfortunately I didn't order the same thing tonight and was highly disappointed. First off, I paid $2 extra for fried rice with my dish. That is not fried rice. It's slightly brown from maybe a tiny bit of soy sauce (couldn't taste it) and maybe a couple tiny bits of eggs. That's it. Completely not fried rice and certainly not worth an extra $2 from the standard white rice. I had to add my own spices to make it edible. The avocado rolls were terrible! No spice or at least a little salt. Just avocado, wrapped in a tasteless wonton with an overly vinegary dipping sauce. The Sesame chicken is advertised as spicy. This was not spicy at all, not even a minuscule amount. The sauce was boring, very vinegary and there was literally nothing but chicken. I haven't had such a boring entree from a Thai restaurant in my life. I'm not sure if this was an off night or we just got lucky the first time but we certainly won't be ordering from this establishment again. There's no way that I could recommend this restaurant based on this meal. It was terrible! read more

I have yet to be disappointed by this place. If you order at 5pm (when they open after lunch) expect up to a 30 minute queue. I ordered a 5:30 pickup but it wasn't ready until 6pm. It was still worth the wait. I've been trying different orders and have yet to find a dish I didn't like. So much has declined over the years. In the last two years we've noticed that the service has gone down greatly. In the last year they started using paper plates--which didn't stop us from returning. However, when we order a large bowl of soup for us to all share, they can't bring us bowls to serve the soup into for each of us. Also we always have to ask for extra plates. I mean, two large dishes are brought to a table of 5...do they really think we don't need more plates? Today, we ordered our usual: Tom Kah, pad thai and pad see ew. Again serving the soup was a struggle. The pad see ew was how it's always been so we were happy with that, however, the pad thai was gross. My 14 year old immediately noticed the pad thai was made with a ketchup base. It was crap. I thought I would give this place a try and was in the mood for Thai. I ordered Drunken Noodles and Chicken Wings. I was excited when I got home to eat my food. I dig in a take a bite, it tasted delicious. However, I look closely at my food as my fork was slightly stuck and there was a LONG BLACK HAIR embedded in my food. I quickly called the restaurant. In response to me telling the women who answers the phone that there is a gross hair in my food, she GIGGLES and says "oh that must be the cooks" proceeds to giggle more, and then tells me I can come in and get a refund or a newly cooked one. I've been lucky enough to have some WONDERFUL Thai food, here and outside of the area, and while this was not quite the GREATEST I've ever tasted, it certainly was very good, reasonably priced, and definitely a great alternative in an area saturated with pizza, tacos, pizza, and more tacos (not that there's anything WRONG with that!!) There seems to be a pretty steady take out business here, but I decided to eat in. I sat up front, rather than in the side dining room, and took a while to check out their tempting but not overly huge menu. I sampled the "money bags" app, which were fried dumplings, more or less. There are better choices, including an avocado roll I wish I had tried, spring and summer rolls, tempting salads, including seaweed, which I always enjoy, and more. I debated back and forth on my entree, and finally went with the PERFECT Chaing Mai soup. Not too spicy, not too bland-- An amazing curry and coconut blend, with plenty left over for a equally tasty lunch the next day. Don't miss the Thai tea and/or coffee (hot or cold) and the wonderful mango sticky rice dessert (in season). Time4Noodles is hands down, THE best Thai restaurant in Dayton. People are crazy if they think the best Thai food is at that pink house. My favorite thing to order here is their crab fried rice. But I've had everything from their sukiyaki soup to their yen ta fo soup. Their crispy duck soup was just okay, I like the one at Linh's more. But what's good about the duck here is that it's not all bones like the one at Linh's. So there are pros and cons about both soups. Another thing I like about this place is that they make their Thai Iced tea the right way. The way other places make it here is an insult lol. Not really but it could be. What also sets Time4Noodle apart from other Thai restaurant is the wide variety of ice cream flavors they have here! They have ube, thai iced tea, green tea, mango, and coconut to name a few. The appetizers are good though the fried tofu stands out and has the flavors of northern China. The fish rice soup entree is very subtlely seasoned and very good. Was greeted with a smile and felt very welcomed, i explained I've never dined here before and the cashier handed me a menu and answered a few questions with no problem and had great recommendations. There are two big reasons why I give this place 1 star. 1, after ordering my food I asked if I just seat myself, and the cashier just nodded.. so I sit down and wait for my meal and they bring me everything to-go. I was a little confused but whatever. I asked for a cup of water and then when the waitress came back with a styrofoam cup she said "are you dining here?" I said yes, and apologized as I was confused on how this place works. And she walked away and never came back, but was happy to assist everyone around me. The second reason is a lot more serious. I ordered red curry, with only vegetables. The flavor was alright, bland compared to some more authentic thai I've had, but not bad. The base of the curry did taste kind of like dish water towards the end when I was eating it without the vegetables. But the pain issue was that in my veggie curry was some sort of meat, either chicken or pork. It wasn't big chunks, but rather a bunch of tiny shreds and pieces. Seems like it's already pre-made with meat and they tried to just fish it out, instead of explaining that to me. Hopefully they take allergies more seriously than that.. read more

Pretty good Thai restaurant although the choices were a bit limited for me. I ended up going with the pork yellow curry which I asked for hot but ended up having to add a good deal of sriracha and hot pepper oil to so I could get it up to my desired level of heat. Food was delicious. I had been to the owners last venue Iyara Thai (they sent me a message on yelp to say they had opened from a previous review) , so I knew what I was getting would be good already. I decided to go with the new noodle bowls. So, I got the sukiyaki which i had heard of before but never had. Delish. The people we went with were pleased as well, and they went to the old place too. The dining room is small seating a max of 36 people with a few 2 tops, maybe 6 4-tops or half booths, and maybe 5 hightop seat at the window side "bar" (think chipotle) It used to be Cockadoodlemoo, and is two doors down from Godfather's. It's already busy, but that's good! They do take out too, so you might want to if they are full. read more

Recently tried this place for the first time, and the food was outstanding! The pineapple fried rice was even better than our usual favorite, Thai Nine. Drunken noodles & spring rolls were fantastic! Everything we got was superb. You can choose spice level - from one to five. I can tell you that if you can't take spicy heat, order a level one or two at the most. Three is that sneaky spice level that doesn't get you at first, but starts a slow burn that works its way into a big fire after several bites. Manager or owner came by to check on us after we received our food. I appreciated that very much. The ambience of the place is very nice. Cutely decorated, nice asian music, and the place was clean - even the bathroom. Two issues kept this from being a 5-star rating. 1. S L O W service. Painfully slow. And the server, who was sweet & seemed to be well meaning, forgot a bunch of stuff...starting with the fact that we were waiting for her to take our order. It went downhill from there. Once we put in our food order the dishes came out in short order, then another excruciating wait for the bill & again for the card to be run through. And they weren't busy at all, so I have no idea what was happening. 2. It was very cold inside the restaurant, and it isn't even very cold outside yet! Coming from out of town, I wanted to try someplace different that I couldn't get back home. I came to a time 4 Noodles based on proximity. The place was very clean and smelled divine. I ordered a traditional Thai dish Pad Gra Pow with beef. I also ordered crispy crab cheese (crab Rangoon) The dish came out quickly and tasted amazing. The veggies were cooked to perfection and the meat was flavorful and tender. The house sauce was delicious. I would have attached a picture but I ate it all! Let me just start by saying I order carry out last night and it was fantastic; which is why I am writing this review today. It is easy to be skeptical about a little restaurant in a strip mall in Huber Heights. This was my 3rd carry out order since the place opened and it has exceeded my expectations every time. I have spent 25 years in different aspects of the restaurant industry so I feel like I know what I am talking about here. Let me get to some specifics. I called and placed the order and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. I was skeptical that it would be ready in that amount of time so I gave it an extra 5 minutes. When I arrived the food waiting for me, freshly cooked and packaged (it was hot in the bag!). I really appreciate an accurate pickup time. I ordered from the dinner menu and got the fresh shrimp rolls, pot stickers, money bag, drunken noodles and blue crab fried rice. Everything was extremely fresh and well prepared. These people are true professionals in that they seem to understand the importance of using fresh ingredients. By that I mean the lettuce and herbs were perfectly green in the fresh shrimp rolls. The chicken in the drunken noodles was perfectly fresh and delicately seasoned. Nothing that I have tried is overly spicy or heavy in my opinion (I normally order a 3 spiciness out of 5). It is prepared with the fresh ingredients taking the center stage. The big test was the blue crab fried rice since I tend to not order seafood unless I am very familiar with the place. (A lot of restaurants do not know or do not care about the freshness of seafood, which can be toxic if kept too long.) It was probably my favorite dish. The crab was fresh, the rice was fluffy; some of the best fried rice I have had in a long time. In summary, I am truly impressed with the cooking skills and professionalism at Time 4 Noodle. It is rare indeed to find these attributes in many restaurants in the area. I hope you have great success and I know I will be doing my part by returning again soon. read more
