Had Mongolian beef and Kung pao chicken. Mongolian beef sauce was good except little beef and a lot of onions...they should call this Mongolian Onions instead. Kung Pao chicken is unlike other places...they used breaded chicken which I believe they use it on other chicken menu. Just me but I like unbreaded. I rarely go here. The Orange Chicken has no flavor. It brought to mind all the food I tried when I had Covid, tasteless. My son got Teriyaki Chicken, their #1 dish. It had more flavor, just not a very good one. We won't order from Cuba Wok again. read more

Since I'm on a Chinese food kick, I gotta give this place some love. This place has the best General Tso's & steamed dumplings I've ever freakin had. The prices are great and the portions feed like a tiny army. During the before times (precovid) this place had a little buffet at lunch. I would basically eat there once a week. Although you could classify this pl as a hole in the wall spot I def love it and recommend it. Gone to this place for carryout for years and consistently good food and fast service. I especially like that unlike some other Chinese places, their sauces actually have different tastes. Prices are reasonable and, while I've never made it there for lunch, the specials look like a great deal too. If you have not been, definitely worth checking out. Absolutely love this restaurant. Although the actual sit down dining area may not be 5 star, their food definitely is. They have more than enough options to choose from on their menu and when you pick up the food for carry out (which is a Friday tradition in my family) it is actually FRESH and you can tell it has just been made instead of sitting around somewhere and reheated. This is your typical fast Chinese restaurant. I took my 'little sister' from Big Brothers Big Sisters here as she is a huge fan of Chinese food; I could do without it. They offered a lunch buffet - not a bad deal to fill a plate for $7. But in hoping we'd get something a little more fresh, we both ordered one of the lunch specials. I had beef and broccoli, she had chicken lo mein. Our food came out within 2 minutes of ordering...no, that's not a compliment. That means it was already cooked up and waiting before we even entered the restaurant. And you could tell by the taste. The lo mein noodles were stuck together in one big clump. The crab rangoon included with the lunch specials was cold. The broccoli had the distinctive taste of being frozen, not fresh. I wasn't looking for fine dining here, but for $16 for the two of us to eat with a beverage there are much better options to be had. We stayed longer than a normal lunch, spending time to chat and catch up since our last outing, and in the hour or so we were there, the buffet was never refilled or even stirred once. I felt bad for those coming in to order that option without knowing. The restaurant itself was not clean. We had to clean off a table ourselves before sitting down. My husband liked it more than I did but he was really happy with the Crab Rangoon. He said 3.5/5. I give it a 3 for these reasons: 1) no food I picked off the buffet was more than Luke warm 2) the hot and sour soup was too peppery 3) I love General's Chicken and I didn't love this one 4) rice was nice and fluffy 5) chicken lo mein had been out too long, kind of like if you cook spaghetti too long and the noodles get toooooo soft. 6) the canned Pepsi was good. I'm a frequent customer at this restaurant today I Ordered take out, Lg Chicken fried rice and Garlic Chicken without vegetables the person taken my order did not get my order correct. I informed him Garlic Chicken without vegetables they threw some chicken in a bowl and some Garlic chips, not at all a resemblance to the normal Garlic Chicken without vegetables I normally get. The Best Chinese good they only use Freshest ingredients and there lunch food Bar is truly the best they don't skip quality on there food bar like I feel a lot of the Chinese places do and I feel it's do to they don't try to put out their whole menu on the bar so the quality doesn't suffer.
