Food always in point. Never forgot anything maybe a sauce, but not food. Love it. We just have a family of 4 when we're eating out and everyone wants their own this and that and it gets expensive. Pros: Sometimes serves hot, quickly prepared food. Cons: Loathesome customer service. The only reason this review reaches "2" is that on *some* occasions the food quality has been satisfactory. The female proprietor and her staff are catty, rude, and generally and consistently disagreeable. After 5 times dealing with rudeness of this magnitude, we won't be going back. The kung pao chicken and fried rice I ordered tonight was completely inedible and the entire order had to be thrown in the trash. The rice clearly had been sitting for hours and the kung pao chicken was undercooked, lacking any flavor and I'm not entirely convinced that was really chicken. Dragon City, I challenge you to sample food from your competitors. Even the Smithville location in Dayton. The ever popular General Tso chicken at your location is priced below average and is actually a decent recipe but the large order is rather small . Most places are approximately $1 more and they pack the container full, unlike what you have to offer. House special and vegetables fried rice is severely lacking the proteins and or special vegetables and is sold at about the same price as most . The boneless BBQ pork is overly fatty and also is sold at a common price. I imagine that I would be disappointed with most everything else on your menu too. Sadly and unfortunately I will not be ordering from your menu until further notice , unless I become aware that your location has improved your menu . These days many people are demanding value and competitive taste. On a positive note , my family did enjoy your General Tso's Chicken and crab rangoons . Their food does not compare to Asian Star. The beef and chicken on a stick is overcooked and full of coloring; fried wonton is overcooked; ribs are severely overcooked and mostly not eatable; egg/spring rolls are too greasy; and the seafood delight has a strong 'fish water' taste. The lady that delivered several orders is very rude. She talked the whole time on her phone while exchanging money and food. At least be polite enough to not talk to whomever is on the phone while at a customer's house. She also likes to try to step into the house uninvited. Will not be eating from this place again. I am passing through and stopped at a hotel for the night. Ordered delivery of wonton egg drop soup, house fried rice and sesame chicken. To start, the lady on who answered the phone was rude. The fried rice was subpar. The shrimp weren't properly cleaned as they are not even butterflied to take out the waste. The sesame chicken was tasty, but over cooked. And the wonton soup which the meat in the wontons I don't think were probably cooked all the way are what woke me up due to severe cramps and why I'm currently writing this review from my hotel toilet since the diarrhea won't let me go back to bed. read more

This is a little above your average cheap Chinese place. I got the General Tso's Chicken Lunch special and I couldn't even finish it for under $6. It was ready to be picked up in less than 10 minutes. The breading on the chicken was really crispy and the sauce was flavorful. The only thing bad about it was that it wasn't really spicy at all which I like. Next time I will let them know to make it spicier. Definitely better than the other comparable Chinese places I've been to. read more

No matter if I dine-in, carry out, or order delivery, Dragon City is quick! They also give you a lot of food for the money. (usually, much more than I can eat in one sitting) Nearly all of their lunch specials are under $6 and come with a good size entree, rice (fried or steamed), and your choice of soup, egg roll, or a soda. I always get the wonton soup which has an usual but pleasant cheesy flavor. Occasionally, there is too much sauce on my entree, but I'd rather have too much sauce than not enough. A neighbor recommended this place for Chinese. We absolutely love it. We typically get the Hunan beef and the General Tso's chicken. It tastes great every time and the prices are reasonable. The dining room is not great, but we typically take out, so it doesn't matter to us. read more

Terrible customer service, I ordered 30 in food and when I received it by delivery they gave me hunan chicken instead of the Kung pao that I ordered. When I called them to tell them that they made a mistake I was argued with by the girl who took my order as to whether or not I ordered the hunan chicken. I order the same thing everytime and had never had this problem before. By the end of the conversation I was irate and am now going to be taking my business elsewhere. I recently moved to the Huber area and needed a new Chinese fix. I tried several different places, but wasn't impressed. I tried dragon city and loved it. They are close, consistent and tasty. The only complaint is about one of the workers who delivers. My roommate and I ordered lunch one day and when I called to order the lady was very rude, didn't give me a total and hung up on me. That same lady delivered our food and my roommate did not give her a tip for she did not deserve one. After giving her the money and receiving the food, The lady came back rang our door bell, banged on our windows and looked through our windows to have us answer. When I returned to the door and answered it she said "no tip?!?" as I explained to her that she was rude and therefore she was not receiving a tip she continued to repeat "no tip?!?" After telling her no a hundred times she got in her car and peeled out of our driveway. We got a great laugh out of it but it was very unprofessional and weird.. Veggie fried rice with HAIR!!! Backstory, i order from this restaurant usually once a month..normally, everything is fine. Tonight, my family and I ordered takeout..once home, we found a long, black HAIR in my daughter's veggie fried rice (no, we do not have black hair, so it was not ours)..called d.c...bring the food back for a refund. Drive back up there. Greeted with a smile, hand her back the food...she doesn't want to refund all the money...shocker (some of the food had been consumed!). Um, no. Then the woman working proceeds to start yelling at me! They are busy, people have hair, sometimes it ends up in the food (that's what hair nets are for)& if hair was only in veggie fried rice, she doesn't know why we won't eat the lo mein (b/c we just found your hair in our food). At the end, I received a refund, they got back their hairy food and with cutomer service like this, I will never be back (that, and hair). On a side note, I did notice the 2 young men working with her prepping and handling the food without gloves & minus hair nets. read more
