Usually our food is very good but on the last visit the beef lomein wasn't even edible. It was greasy and the meat was tough.

Had this on Saturday. It was so yummy. I had the Chicken Lomein. It was delicious. I loved the flavor. I called in my order and it it was ready in like 10 minutes. By the time I got home to eat it was still very good and hot. I love this place! If you have not tried it I definitely recommend it! I also have pictures below of the shrimp Lomein! The Sichuan beef was swimming in a sauce more like gravy. I also ordered sautéed string beans with shrimp but got string beans deep fried in oil with fried shrimp added. They need to know the difference between sautéed and deep fried. The string beans were oily and tough, and the finished dish had had little or no garlic flavor. First of all, I realize that it was Christmas Day and they they were going to be busy. When I called in an order, I was told 1.5 hours. I show up 1.5 hours later and they ask me to go ahead and pay. And then AFTER I pay, they tell me that it is still another 45 minutes. I get it, it's Christmas so I wait. Another 1.5 hours pass and I am told that it is still 30 minutes away from being done. This is my go-to place for Chinese food in Centerville. The food is amazing and the price is more than reasonable. I really like how there is a picture menu to order from since I always want to know what the dish looks like. I've tried a variety of dishes from here and everything has been great. I think my favorite has to be the egg fu young. A bonus is that it's a family-run, so you're supporting a local business. The staff is efficient and kind whenever I've ordered there. It's been years since my last Yelp review, but I felt this deserved one. Not because the food was good, but as a word of caution. I was craving Chinese takeout and looking up places and this one had good reviews. So I went and ordered vegetable egg foo young, chicken mushroom and rangoons. The rangoons were the only thing worth my one star review and the plain rice that came with my entrees. The egg foo young had no flavor. It definitely needed some salt. The chicken mushroom looked promising, but once I bit into it the celery and mushrooms that came with it.. I found out it was spoiled! I just ended up throwing everything away. This place is very nostalgic for me! I really enjoy ordering from here. We ordered takeout at about 7 pm on Saturday night and it took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready. I got vegetable fried rice and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were delicious! My go to is the chicken fried rice, but I decided to change some things up and got the vegetable fried rice instead. I think I like the chicken fried rice better, but the vegetable fried rice was still good! Very big servings and reasonably priced. I had enough leftovers to last for another 2 meals! read more

A good chinese carry out is a beautiful thing. I'll go as far to call this 1 great. I've eaten here many times, and its always really good and ready in 15 minutes. The family who run this place are a well oiled machine and incredibly efficient. Its not the absolute best chinese food I've ever had, or fancy but this IS primarily a carryout spot. I know people think this Chinese place is a dump and disgusting, but i love it. Its just basic american/chinese food with a picture board to order from. How can it get any better? So, if you ignore the disgusting kitchen and food sitting around in bins, like cooked chicken and other odds and ends, then maybe you'll be okay. The interior is very dated and old, but most chinese establishments are except for places like pf changs. The staff is very friendly when they are serving you but when backs are turned, arguments with the kitchen--in all Chinese will keep you entertained. You guessed it she tells me to wait and answers the phone and I am standing right there listening to her take someone else's order. It is wrong to have to wait when you got there first and then the phone rings and she takes phone order before yours. She really needs to work on service! Nobody eats here. Dine-in, that is. But everyone eats their food! This place is a little dive in South Main street in Centerville Ohio, with a lot of traffic going in and out the door, but the tables inside always deserted. You would be mistaken if you thought they didn't do good business here. But let me tell you a little secret that people in the Centerville and Washington Township area of Ohio know and keep close to their heart: we love the take-out. And it was just this past week that Bill (Potable Pastime) and I didn't really feel like cooking but wanted to kick back our heels and watch videos. It can be like that sometimes. Don't you think? There are a few good Chinese and Asian restaurants in the area, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, so it's not like we didn't have a selection. But for this night we chose Hunan Wok, both for their proximity and their good food. Had a great experience ordering here. Walked in and ordered the sesame chicken and crab rangoon and they told me 10 minutes. I left with my food in 5 minutes and was excited to be on my way. This place is dirty and disgusting. I was feeling adventurous and thought I would try something new, but boy did I get burnt here. I got an order of crab Rangoon, Kung Pao chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The crab Rangoon tasted freezer burnt, the chicken was mostly celery, and the rice tasted like dirty refrigerator. I was disgusted enough to just get up and walk out without saying anything and leave the garbage on the table. I wouldn't recommend eating here at all. read more

This is by far the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten. Moo shu pork had zero flavor. Beef and Broccoli was just awful. Ordered Crab Rangoon which they forgot to give me. Frankly, probably dodged a bullet. Three bites into it and EVERYTHING went in the trash. Only plausible thing to eat was the rice. Avoid this place. We frequent here too often probably for being on a low carb diet but I like the Hot and Sour soup and shrimp egg rolls. I know what you are saying, that's not low carb! Nope, it's not but guess what...it's good! I like it and I suggest you splurge every once in a while and try it. Others noted the hot and sour soup is good. Why? Because it has fresh mushrooms. Not those rubbery things other Chinese restaurants often pass off as being homemade. Plus, I enjoy watching my food being prepared here. Nope it's not a ritzy establishment for a culinary delight of the senses but it suits my needs in little old Centerville. Plus, I often see people coming in and out which means it's good. the shrimp egg rolls can be a tad greasy but just wrap in a paper towel if you can't handle.
