Wanted to give a "recent" review as most of these are old, I absolutely love Dragon One, i won't eat at any other Chinese place, its not a buffet but i've never been disappointed with any purchase i've made. It's always hot and fresh, the lady who runs the store i believe? is so nice, she knows my order which makes me so happy that i can call and she knows what I'm gonna order but sometimes i switch it up and she's kind. No other Chinese place tastes half as good as this place, please stop by and get some sweet and sour chicken, steamed chicken dumplings and the crab rangoons! Not much space at all to eat inside but it's very cozy and casual, they've always had my order ready when i walk in! read more

Order this this evening! I got fried rice and chicken and crab Rangoon. We ordered at 8:30pm got food very soon after. The food was delivered nice and warm. My crab Rangoon was great! My fried rice with chicken was hot but very plain! No eggs were in there. Just chicken, rice, and onions. I was a little shocked. Most fried rice comes with eggs as well. read more

I have had lunch from here twice recently. Good food both times. The Hunan beef was actually spicy.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews on this restaurant. It's my most-ordered restaurant on Doordash. The orange beef or orange chicken are my FAVORITE in the Dayton area. They also have amazing spring rolls and crab rangoon. I can't say what the restaurant is like to dine-in, because I've only ever ordered from them. But the delivery is outstanding. The food is always packed full and is piping hot (without being soggy). read more

When I saw Dragon One is open till 10:30 p.m. most weeknights, I was elated. When I saw the Dragon & Phoenix (lobster meat and chicken in a ginger and garlic sauce with vegetables over rice), I was drooling. When I finished my meal, I was satisfied by not wowed. We ordered Egg Foo Young, Sweet & Sour Soup, spring rolls, fried dumplings, and Szechuan Tofu. The flavor of the dishes was good--better than one other Chinese restaurant we have tried so far in the area. We did pick-up and the order was ready when we arrived. The dumplings were a little overdone. Spring rolls were good, but small. The soup had good flavor, but could use more ingredients (bamboo, more carrots, etc). The egg foo young also had good flavor, but was a little greasy. For the flavor, we would try it again. I'll let you know what we think. read more

I was delighted that another oriental location offered online ordering so I thought to give it a try, I wish I hadn't. First off the website, while having a typical design to most similar locations, had many issues with timing out and xml issues. It also almost ordered me 20 platters... But luckily the double checking allowed me to fix the order. Never having ordered before from this location I decided to get the PuPu platter, which is like an appetizer combo plate, as well as my favorite, sweet and sour chicken. Their was also an issue with my card online, which they were quick to call me and fix. Delivery time was good at about thirty minutes. But now the food..... Which arrived in a bag and containers stained in grease. The platter came with 2 spring rolls which were about the only thing edible, the crab Rangoon was soggy, the chicken wings were burnt and oily, the chicken nuggets.. Yes chicken nuggets. Were all very over cooked and greasy. The chicken and pork on a stick were also over cooked and almost too rubbery to chew. My main course, sweet and sour chicken, was also a sour disappointment. The chicken itself, again soggy. As a former cook myself, I don't know how they achieved such levels of overcooked and not crispy. The fried rice that came with the dinner combo was also the worst I've ever had. Incredibly greasy as well you'd think they scored fryer oil over the rice. I've always prided myself on the three strike rule and giving places a second chance, but this is an unexpected exception I'll never be trying again. read more

Save your money and order from someone else, i wasted 40 bucks on burnt rice and under cooked veggies. After reading reviews on 2 different websites i shoulda heeded my gut feeling. Also i dont agree with " management " threatening customers, your business, your mistakes, you own it not us. You as an owner/ operator should watch what you serve to people. If you feel that the public is using slander to get you to own up to your faults they arent. They're demanding you clean up your facility and pay attention to haccp procedures. read more

Ordered 2 small fried rice for takeout which they seemed irritated by from the get go. I gave them my bank card and they asked me for the pin so she could type in! I declined and said either I can put it in or we can cancel the order. She ripped my card out of machine and that was that. Why me? Hi ratings on DoorDash. But then again, I see door dash has high ratings on everyone. What a scam! This place is just as bad as the Hunan house in Miamisburg. They must be the same owner. The Kung pow chicken and General Tso's chicken was not edible. Mostly over-fried batter. I to do an autopsy to find any chicken. It was like looking for a needle in the haystack. The food my mom and I got was fantastic, Crab Rangoon.. SOLID 10/10 and if you like something real hot go for the pepper steak with onions overall I would definitely eat here again so I'd give a 9/10 cause nothing is perfect read more

We tried delivery service tonight and it was great. We had the sweet and sour chicken and a rice and veggie dish. Both were very good and arrived sooner than they had told us on the phone and were very hot. Portions were large and I thought price for two large dishes, 2 egg rolls and delivery at $20 was very reasonable. My granddaughter thought the fortune cookies were delicious too. read more

Food and service were exactly what I expected for Chinese takeout at this price point. We purchased the family meal for $30. It was perfect for myself, wife & two kids. In fact we had enough to use as leftovers the next day for our work lunches. I would've given it five stars but let be honest, it's takeout and I reserve 5*'s for special meals. Would I go back? Received very bad food and they service to get it taken care of was horrible! We had to wait over 2 hours for a delivery driver to come back to the house and check to make sure we didn't eat the food. All this so we could get the money put back on our credit card. I then call and ask when I could expect our food and the lady asked no questions and said "It's almost there ma'am." Yet I am still waiting. Decided to try delivery instead of carry out today and all went great! They were fast and had it here in under 30 minutes. The dumplings were great along with crab rangoon, shrimp egg roll, and the chicken fried rice was pretty good too. It was all delivered hot, fast, and with plenty of sauces on the side.
