There was plenty of parking and signage. They have a varied and very authentic menu to choose from! We ordered a broth based lo mein noodle bowl and a hand pulled cold dry noodle bowl. BF added on a braised egg and I ordered a Taiwanese sausage on a stick. Yum on all accounts! Chili oil was automatically brought to us and the waitress was super friendly as well as bilingual. Food was brought out within 5-10 minutes of ordering. YES!! presentation and taste were perfect. Their prices and portions are reasonable and I love everything about this place, down to their cat portraits adorning the walls! Wish this place opened a location in Cleveland! I saw that they have spots in Cincy and Cbus!!

We shared the Pork Buns, Crab Rangoon, Cumin Beef, and Chongqing Dry Chili Stir-Fried Chicken, and every dish was delicious. We had such a great experience that we were recommending this place to friends before we had even left the table! The food was that good, and we're already planning a return visit. There's definitely more on the menu we want to try, and we're happy to make the drive again.

Don't let the facade fool you, Great Tang is a hidden gem…read more Inside, it is spacious and tranquil. Great service, they take pride in what they do! The egg rolls are homemade, and I think the lady that made them delivered it to our table. Better than PF Chang's! My husband tried the Cumin Beef, and they were kind enough enough to omit the cilantro. The smell was divine - it was spicy though! A bit surprised they didn't ask what spice level he wanted the dish? I think I ordered the Fish Fillet Delight (the online menu is slightly different than the in person menu), it was a mild sauce, almost tasted like nothing. Towards the end once or twice I tasted the ginger, other than that, very bland. I would not order this again. Lots of food on the plate though! Ordered the pumpkin pastry at the end of the meal. It did not taste like pumpkin at all. It was melting molten mochi and vaguely yellow. Would not get this again. Thankfully I ordered the Chrysanthemum tea, which was delightful. I think Great Tang has the potential to be a great hidden gem, I just need to find my go to dish. If you like spicy, try the Cumin Beef!

She then got up and talked to the waitress about an order of steamed spare ribs and she said it would be out in 10 minutes. 20 minutes went by and 5 parties that came after us all got served. I also ordered wonton soup for the first time but I don't know it was filled with pork so unfortunately I couldn't even eat it. The chicken fried rice threw us off because the chicken just looked liked they tore it up and threw it in the rice. It didn't look like chicken fried rice but overall it wasn't bad. My boo ordered the sweet and sour chicken and he liked it. The fortune cookies were chocolate which I never heard of before so that was interesting. I've had better Chinese food but for it to be what it was it was pretty good.

Once walking in we were greeted quickly and received a quick overview of the menu since it was out first time. I ordered the fried pork dumplings as well as the butter chicken. Finished the other 9 in a hurry. Butter chicken came out smooth and creamy with just the right amount of tang. Chicken was tender and the sauce that it was swimming in was bursting with taste. First time trying butter chicken and will for sure be ordering it again soon. Quantity of food was in large amounts so you will not leave hungry. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try something different than the normal pizza or skyline in trenton.
