Inside is very homey and has many decorations, not many people inside though but not shocked because they mostly do take out. Limited menu, semi-abandoned, hole in the wall location that DEFINITELY has seen better days, but for what it is and where it is, you're not going to do any better than the Panda Garden. All the usual Chinese menu standards, along with a few surprises, reasonably priced. My "u-dong" Korean soup hit the spot, even though the noodles were closer to standard ramen noodles, and my steamed dumplings, while not "regulation" shaped, were good as well. I think their dining room might have seen more business in the past, but it's looking like mostly take-out here now. The week night I came in and waited for my order, I saw a pretty good, steady stream of takeout orders going out, and most seemed like loyal return customers. If you find yourself in tiny Enon, Ohio, this is an a.o.k. choice (among about 4-5 (including 'Ye Olde Speedway Cafe!!') As a resident of Enon, I have always tried to support local businesses- especially since my kids go to school with the kids whose family owns Panda Garden. But seriously, last straw. Ordered online, picked it up and it was ready on time - but was treated very rudely - I was an inconvenience and I'm sorry I apparently interrupted their NOT very busy Saturday night. Food is just OKAY - if you're looking for better Chinese/Asian food, try JY Bamboo. A smidge down the road (in Fairborn) , but friendlier and honestly, food is better for the price. read more

I can only assume those who have given this plce 5 stars have not had chinese food outside of visits to local buffets of which the quality is atrocious. That said this place is the best Chinese food in Enon, being that it's the ONLY chinese food in Enon (if you don't count the egg rolls in the frozen aisle of Howards). We first went a few years ago and were not impressed, but being it's been a while and we moved here now, decided to try again in hopes that they had perhaps chnaged cooks or owners. Nope. Granted we are a bit jaded when it comes to Chinese, we used to live north of Cincinnati and often went to Uncle Yips for dim sum carts on weekends, and have been to some high end placesin our travels. So I have a higher expectation for chinese food than most who only know it from cheapo crap buffets. Aside from that, I've never had another place sell me wontons and tell me they were Potstickers. Panda Garden did. Seriously, I even have a pic in the photos I uploaded. The fact they try to pass of wontons as a proper potsticker should make you take up arms and protest. And "pan fried potstickers"? Deep fried. Seriously. We will continue to drive into Springfield the few miles to go to Hung Lung on Bechtle. East Meets West and Old Meets New This is the perfect OG Chinese food just like I remember from my childhood, but with modern sensibility. Everything is really fresh and not over-cooked or over-sauced in the typical miasma of corn starch, corn syrup and blandness. Hallelujah. I agree with Lisa. Fifth star if they delivered. Dine in isn't horrible but it's cheesy. Take out is great. Rarely are our orders messed up. Consistent quality in food. They process your orders by phone number. It does cut down on the number of mix ups. Food is really good. I am not a lush when it comes to Chinese good but I do expect my norm to be similar from joint to joint. Here it's really good, they will double your toppings for a small fee. Four of us ordered carry out tonight. Sesame Chicken, General Tso Chix, and Kong Po Shrimp (x-spicy) - all with steamed rice. Just $28!! Food was definitely hot and fresh. Flavors seemed sweeter than our usual place, and fried at a lower temp, or for not as long. I can't say that the food was bad, because it wasn't. Two of us who usually have left-overs, did not...huh. Don't trust their online order system. It said one total, but i was charged a different total when i got there. when i challenged the difference, i was told the higher price was the total i had to pay. when i informed them if they charged me the higher price i would never order from them again i was literally told "whatever" by the women running the place. really great customer service. This is what a local chinese place ought to be. For its price point, the food is amazing, and very rapidly prepared. Even their takeout takes five minutes or less. In fact, once I didn't even get to sit down before my food was ready. The quality of the food is great - everything tastes the way it is supposed to. My only (minor) complaint is that their "spicy" foods aren't very. But if you ask, they'll bump it up to a very acceptable level. read more

Ok, kept telling myself that I would give them another chance. I have gone int o the place to place my orders and I was greeted by two young (I am assuming children of the owners). They have never said "hello" Even after I have said hello to them several times, it seems to confuse them actually. The food I have ordered has been decent., but I am tired of spending my money where the workers dont seem to care if I am there or not. The restaurant is very tired/dirty looking and dated. One of the better options for carry-out or dine in Chinese. This family owned and operated restaurant has great Chinese meals at reasonable prices. Typically the sons are working the front of the house with their mother, and the father cooks. As seems to be a pattern they are closed on Mondays but the rest of the time the hours are good. The dinning area is well maintained and is reasonably uncluttered and the atmospheric nuances are mild and appealing. All in all a favorite stop on a weekly basis. For the past fourteen years I called this my favorite Chinese carry out restaurant. Until today. The person that took our order was downright nasty on the phone. Last time I checked "What" is not an acceptable way to answer the phone. Looking past that I politely proceeded to place my order. I got nothing but rude remarks such as "what size, you should know if you looked on our menu" and "well why didn't you just say that". Needless to say we cancelled and will never return.
