I am not sure why the ratings are so low here. My husband and I love going to Roosters when we are craving bar food. My go to is always the boneless wings with the garlic sauce. So our trip to roosters started with being seated. The young lady who sat us was very sweet. Then came our waitress Abbey, I think she said her name was. Very unprofessional to say the least. Not sure if it was a bad day for her or what, but I'm not a fan. We ordered sweet tea and let me just say, it needs some work. It is not at all sweet. At least when we asked our waitress she stated that is their sweet tea. There is no sweetness what so ever to the tea. The wings were good. No real complaints in that department. Our server was very nice. The Wings and Nachos were really good. The quesadilla didn't have much flavor. The music is soooooo loud. I had much rather order carry out moving forward and eat at home. I feel like I have to yell to be heard and lean in to hear when I'm being spoken to. Recently it seemed like the quality of the food at Springboro has been sliding downhill, smaller wings, not freshly made, colder food, etc. We went there tonight and the traditional wings were huge and were the freshest wings I've ever eaten. My wife's boneless wings were also fresh. Kudos to you guys for making changes if this was an intentional improvement! We will be back to find out. I was also impressed with the grilled chicken inside. Since this is a fast-food chain, I didn't expect much -- but it was pretty substantial, though a little dry. Always one of our favorite places. Local and open late. Everything we order from here is always good, along with great service. The boneless wings in garlic is my favorite, the rooster salad is amazing with the house dressing make sure to ask for extra (tastes like a French with a twist). The food is good. The ambience is overbearing a times, but you know what to expect. This specific location had the worst service. When our server was rude and the food uncooked (completely undercooked, pink throughout, unsafe to eat) chicken. I asked for a manager who never came. When the bill came, i was charged for the uneaten, uncooked wings and not even offered to remake them. We were sat in a back corner, rightside coming inside. We could see the drink station where we were seated. I was treated and insulted that i was "dining and dashing" when refusing to pay without talking to a manager. Again, third request for a manager that didint come. Hate to see a good place ruined by, im guessing, new managment. read more

We've been coming here for years... we like this one in Springboro the best due to it's more family like, the staff is always super nice and the foods never been subpar. The atmosphere is nice, it's not too loud, they have patio seating when warm. The have decent choice of beers and the bartenders don't seem to know how to make a 'weak mixed drink'. The only caveat in the past is getting a seat. If there is a football game on you will more than likely have to wait till then end of a game. Just be prepared, grab a drink at the bar and wait patiently. :) read more

Took forever to get a server and then I had to go find her after 15 minutes so we could actually place an order. I think 2.5 stars would be an accurate score for them but it's not an option. This Roosters has mastered the art of terrible service. On the night of January 22nd, with the temperature of 8 degrees, they insisted our party wait outside with 3 kids under 10. The wait was only 5 minutes, but the hostess/mgr lady was rude to the point of forcing us out the door. She then chewed out the young kid who was checking us in for letting us stand "in the way". Mind you, no one else was waiting in the restaurant. I have been in there when it is busy and it was not at this time. The mgr or whoever she was, was merely on a power trip. This is the last straw in a line of service and sanitation issues at this location. We have had issues before with conditions, being forced to the patio even though there were seats inside. Food is typically good. However the treatment I witnessed last night is inexcusable. Apparently there's a mandate not allowing dine in guests to wait in the lobby area. There was an 87 year old female in the vestibule freezing waiting on a table. I saw a guy getting a take out order asking about letting her wait inside. He eventually got into a screaming match with the girl taking to go orders and called the manager. They went outside and got really heated. I love Roosters but this location is extremely small and no room. I was extremely disappointed because we were in the area and wanted to watch a few college football games and there was no room!!! Plenty of staff for sure, but they were overwhelmed and rude. I know they are young and the place packed but they need to take step back and breathe for a moment. I can't help it. I love Rooster's! The price = awesome. The service= awesome. Plus you can mix sauce flavors to create your perfect sauce...I mean...come on. This location isn't huge but the staff has the flow down pat and keeps it moving. They are almost always busy, but the wait isn't usually terrible. This is by far my favorite chain wing place and the level of service and food quality is consistent in all the locations I have visited. Oh. And get the cheese fries, TRUST ME. read more

I recently over the last three months ordered from Springboro two out of three orders were over cooked and absolutely sucked I did receive a refund on both orders.
