One of the Dayton area better breweries... CHBC is always consistent with solid beer. We haven't been back since we've move, but made it in on a Thursday while in town - Same old CHBC. Good beer, good service, and still the same cool atmosphere. They added food a few years back when they expanded, and the menu looked really good. We had some nachos as a snack when we were in and they were solid. I still contend Yellow Springs is far and wide the best brewery in the Dayton area, but CHBC holds their own and their beer.

First timer, but met up with regulars and I'm not disappointed! The server (Callie - spelling is in question) was super fun and helpful and very attentive. The food options are great but being the nacho lover I am, I stuck to what I know and I definitely know these nachos are some good nachos! I got the half order and goodness it was a lot!! We arrive for happy hour on a Friday from 1-3 so we won all the way around!

A very good brewery with great food. I loved their sweet potato fries. Crunchy, hot and they were perfect. I also got the 6 piece chicken wings. It was on point. The dry run on them was good. I got the Sweet Heat and Sweet Chilli. I would go with Sweet Heat. The beers were also very good, the coffee stout was apt for the weather. The staff were friendly and polite. I would definitely go again.

In some ways I feel like Crooked Handle and I grew up together. I first went when it was a new brewery and I was still drinking Blue Moon when I wanted fancy beer. It was a cool place to kick back with friends, never crowded and the beer was pretty good. They grew, my taste in beer improved. I'd pop by for greyhound rescue meet & greets on their patio. Next thing you know they've expanded to serving food and here we are! Oh my god I hate it. Everything that made it unique and wonderful is gone. It's just another super crowded Springboro eatery. The food was almost good but never quite hit the mark. The pork seasoning wasn't right for the Cuban. The sauce on the tots wasn't cheesy enough. The beer was ok, but I didn't even finish mine and I was ok with that decision. Maybe it's nostalgia, but change isn't always a good thing. Sometimes growth means you lose the thing that made you special and that's what happened here. Springboro has another restaurant, but it lost a damn good brewery.

Crooked Handle may not be the largest craft brewery I have been in, but don't let the size fool you! This brewery has great beer and awesome food. We had the smoked wings, cauliflower bites, and the bacon bleu cheeseburger with beer battered fries. All were delicious. Their red chili sauce is money! Their peanut butter porter and coffee beers are a reason to visit by themselves, and they do flights which is awesome. Our bartender Carrie was pretty great too. Great drinks, food and service made this an outstanding visit!! Highly Recommended!!

This is a great little brewery located in Springboro. I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed the beer. I really enjoyed the experimental batches. They were interesting and different flavor combinations that I have not encountered in other breweries. It's even more enticing that you can get flights of 5 beers and try new and different brews. On the last Saturday I was there, they had live music which really added to the ambiance. Still need more? They allow outside food to pair with the beers and I recommend ordering the Naples style pizza from the Dorothy Lane Market next door. It's excellent!

This is a great little spot in Springboro. Very friendly staff and great food. Lots of brews to choose from. We will definitely be back soon.

Food and beer are pretty good. Service needs to improve at tables as staff is either distracted or does not understand customer service.

The Classic Smash Burger consists of two all beef patties on a sesame seed bun. The burger was cooked very well, was cheesy and very flavorful! The fries were seasoned well and are shoestring style. They were good. Not too oily and very plentiful. The chipotle ketchup was okay but not really what I was expecting. It is a bit spicy, perhaps too much to my liking, but I am sure many people would enjoy it. Everything was carefully placed in a nice cardboard box lined with brown paper and sealed. The order itself was placed in a brown paper bag. I do recommend. Food is good, plentiful, and a decent value compared to other chain type restaurants! I would go again as they have a pretty decent selection of food and this experience was good. Recommended!

I finished off with a Stumbling Nag, which was by far the best beer I had there. For most of my visit, I was the only customer, which was fine. It gave me time to talk to the 2 bartenders that were working.
