A really sad Caesar Salmon wrap with tomatoes, that I am allergic too!

Walked in and waited a while until someone said sit wherever. Seemed like we were supposed wait, based on the host stand. Sat, felt ignored due to not getting alcohol. Ordered a Caesar Salmon wrap with no tomatoes as I am highly allergic. Food took forever. Came with tomatoes. Couldn't even complain as our server NEVER came back over to check on us. We then saw her sitting cleaning menus. My sister went over to ask for the bill. She said she was on break! Employees on a break in any establishment should 1) say something not just disappear, 2) not sit where guests can see you. I am on vacation celebrating my 40th Birthday! Thank you for ruining my night! Your break time was more valuable than paying patronages. If you actually came back over I was ready to have ordered a drink!

My friend and I came to crooked handle after a day of exploring the area. I chose crooked handle because I saw that there were a lot of beers on tap that sounded great so I got a flight and they did not disappoint. Lots of flavorful beers, which are my favorite type. We also got the nachos and I have to say I'm a bit of a nacho connoisseur and these were outstanding. The beans were a really nice touch and every single chip had something on it. Even the underneath chips!!! Really great job. I would drive back here just for the nachos. Service was really great too. We sat at the bar and were taking care of really well..

One of the Dayton area better breweries... CHBC is always consistent with solid beer. We haven't been back since we've move, but made it in on a Thursday while in town - Same old CHBC. Good beer, good service, and still the same cool atmosphere. They added food a few years back when they expanded, and the menu looked really good. We had some nachos as a snack when we were in and they were solid. I still contend Yellow Springs is far and wide the best brewery in the Dayton area, but CHBC holds their own and their beer.

First timer, but met up with regulars and I'm not disappointed! The server (Callie - spelling is in question) was super fun and helpful and very attentive. The food options are great but being the nacho lover I am, I stuck to what I know and I definitely know these nachos are some good nachos! I got the half order and goodness it was a lot!! We arrive for happy hour on a Friday from 1-3 so we won all the way around!

A very good brewery with great food. I loved their sweet potato fries. Crunchy, hot and they were perfect. I also got the 6 piece chicken wings. It was on point. The dry run on them was good. I got the Sweet Heat and Sweet Chilli. I would go with Sweet Heat. The beers were also very good, the coffee stout was apt for the weather. The staff were friendly and polite. I would definitely go again.

In some ways I feel like Crooked Handle and I grew up together. I first went when it was a new brewery and I was still drinking Blue Moon when I wanted fancy beer. It was a cool place to kick back with friends, never crowded and the beer was pretty good. They grew, my taste in beer improved. I'd pop by for greyhound rescue meet & greets on their patio. Next thing you know they've expanded to serving food and here we are! Oh my god I hate it. Everything that made it unique and wonderful is gone. It's just another super crowded Springboro eatery. The food was almost good but never quite hit the mark. The pork seasoning wasn't right for the Cuban. The sauce on the tots wasn't cheesy enough. The beer was ok, but I didn't even finish mine and I was ok with that decision. Maybe it's nostalgia, but change isn't always a good thing. Sometimes growth means you lose the thing that made you special and that's what happened here. Springboro has another restaurant, but it lost a damn good brewery.

Crooked Handle may not be the largest craft brewery I have been in, but don't let the size fool you! This brewery has great beer and awesome food. We had the smoked wings, cauliflower bites, and the bacon bleu cheeseburger with beer battered fries. All were delicious. Their red chili sauce is money! Their peanut butter porter and coffee beers are a reason to visit by themselves, and they do flights which is awesome. Our bartender Carrie was pretty great too. Great drinks, food and service made this an outstanding visit!! Highly Recommended!!

This is a great little brewery located in Springboro. I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed the beer. I really enjoyed the experimental batches. They were interesting and different flavor combinations that I have not encountered in other breweries. It's even more enticing that you can get flights of 5 beers and try new and different brews. On the last Saturday I was there, they had live music which really added to the ambiance. Still need more? They allow outside food to pair with the beers and I recommend ordering the Naples style pizza from the Dorothy Lane Market next door. It's excellent!

There was only one front of the house employee and the poor thing was on a walking boot so she was struggling to keep up. She ended up calling another employee in which helped move things along much better. We ordered flights of beers which took a long time (like 30+ minutes) but we weren't in a particular hurry and we saw she was overwhelmed. Also, our server very kindly came over and asked if she could get our table of 3 food order quickly so she could get it in before she put in the order for about 25 people at the other two tables. Our table ordered smoked wings, a cuban sandwich, and a harvest salad. They all came out fresh and everything tasted very good. We were a little disappointed that they no longer have the poutine but were told it just wasn't selling like it used to. Overall, it was a good meal and we will definitely return but we probably wouldn't stay in the future if we noticed only one person working front of house.

The Classic Smash Burger consists of two all beef patties on a sesame seed bun. The burger was cooked very well, was cheesy and very flavorful! The fries were seasoned well and are shoestring style. They were good. Not too oily and very plentiful. The chipotle ketchup was okay but not really what I was expecting. It is a bit spicy, perhaps too much to my liking, but I am sure many people would enjoy it. Everything was carefully placed in a nice cardboard box lined with brown paper and sealed. The order itself was placed in a brown paper bag. I do recommend. Food is good, plentiful, and a decent value compared to other chain type restaurants! I would go again as they have a pretty decent selection of food and this experience was good. Recommended!

I honestly forgot which one I got but I got one of the valentines one and he got one of the Mardi Gras ones. We ordered the extra shot to even though the drinks were already big lol. For our appetizer we ordered the boneless chicken and onion rings. And for the entrees he got the O- M - Cheeseburger and I got the bourbon street chicken and mashed potatoes. And for dessert we shared a blondie. The drinks were good we were pretty tipsy by the time we left. The boneless chicken can't go wrong I finished they were a bit more saucey but that's just typical. The onion rings were pretty good as well. The burger was a typical burger but he waited a little too long to eat and the cheese got hard. The bourbon chicken was good it was topped with shrimp and onions. I will say my impression was it was going to like a bourbon tasting chicken but it was just grilled chicken with shrimp and onions. I ordered a side of bourbon sauce on the side and it made it 10x better. One server was cool. No issues. I barely review franchise restaurants due to them being everywhere. So this was a typical experience.
