My husband and I went to Archer's to enjoy dinner before a movie. We were greeted kindly by the hostess, seated quickly, told our Server for the evening, and offered beverages - all within moments of arrival. Our server, Tyler, was excellent. Although it was the dinner rush, he was calm and helpful, and he took great care of us and the rest of his customers. I got the "sexy" naked Wings and the bread pudding -- both highly craveable!! This place always seems to be hopping. We were lucky to be seated quickly and everyone was nice. We had the wings and pizza, and both were fantastic. The house wing sauce was really good. We had plenty of leftovers and it was good the next day as well. The only complaint was the lack of follow up from the server. No refills, no second drink, we barely saw her. Ordered smothered chicken (no onions) with broccoli and fries. Chicken had good, savory flavor however it was a bit small. Still tasty though. Fries were also good and tasted home made. I wish they had more dessert selections. Judging from other yelp photos, they used to. Would be nice to have a bread pudding and apple pie to choose from. Very nice waiter (and service staff) but food took quite a while to come out. Bill was about $100 for 4 adults and one toddler (including tip) . I ordered a burger for the first time trying it near by and the burger was undercooked it was so pink idk why I even ordered it. they have a cook in there named Jesus who asked me if I did cocaine on 2 different occasions of speaking to him. he told me he does it on fridays and Saturdays idk why he was comfortable telling me that but they need to drug test there employees or centerville pd need to look into this. I'm giving three stars because I loved the white chicken chili and pretzels, but we were not impressed with the rest of the food and really the restaurant as a whole. The atmosphere was ok upon entering and the restaurant was practically empty. The hostesses were busy on their phones so we sat ourselves at the bar. We sat for at least 10mins before The bartender came out of the back to greet us. After ordering our food and drinks (1/4 of the beers on the "out of date" drink paper were no longer available) we were just ready to leave! Our "lunch" was $85.00 minus tip and it was definitely not worth the price. Presented by The Miami Valley Restaurant Association June 8-15, 2024. Of course, we scout the offerings. Archer's Tavern is offering all specialty burgers for $10.00. We both elect the Black 'n Bleu Burger, topped with bleu cheese crumbles and Cajun seasoning. Today, neat quiet ambience in the primary dining room. Caveat: take care to avoid 5:00 Fridays when the young parents emerge with their rambunctious children. This demographic offers an advanced playpen ambience. We also enjoyed French Onion Soup - Rich onion broth, loaded with sliced onions and a hint of sherry and topped with a Holland rusk and Swiss cheese. Recently we were searching the Manna's menu for French Onion soup, and recommend that Manna's take a page from Archer's. Although, French Onion Soup needed many more sliced onions, more sherry, and a lot more time in the broiler in order for the cheese to acquire the texture and melt of a true French Onion Soup. Archer's Tavern provides a nice suburban dining experience if care is taken in selecting visiting time. read more

The service was good. The ketchup bottles were empty. I went to check two tables and they were empty. All of them were sticky... so someone should wipe those down and check on them. The fries were soggy. The hamburger bun wasn't toasted which.... Would have made it better. I would give it another try. It wasn't busy so maybe fries were just old... Ambiance was calm and inviting. At times the waiters stopped at our table with another tables food. We've had this happen in the past, but never actually sat down. The food timing could be spaced a bit more convenient, but it did come hot and tasty. The appetizers are a healthy potion and the pickle chips are more like fries. Ordered takeout on 7/26/25 (evening): The service was terrible, and the food was even worse. Although we received a notification that our order was ready, we still had to wait 20 minutes to get it. The food was awful--subpar bar food at best (grilled Reuben, Philly, wings, and fries). The Reuben had hardly any Thousand Island dressing and minimal sauerkraut, the Philly was a greasy, minced mess, the wings (traditional) had an odd flavor and were barely cooked, and the fries were soggy and almost inedible. We stopped going years ago after the ownership change because the food and service quality declined rapidly. We decided to give it another try to support local businesses, but somehow it was even worse this time. While we're not foodies, we do appreciate good food. Extremely disappointed! read more

Friendly waitstaff and accommodative. Service was slow but the tavern was full and busy. The Norwegian salmon was cooked the way I liked it; it was a small piece given the price of $18 and change for a dinner entree. For the amount of money the salmon should have been a wider fillet and not the skinny fillet. The spinach dip was a bit salty and served with way too many chips for a 3or 5 inch cast iron skillet. We noticed Archers recently and decided to give it a try. Thursday at 5:30, seated immediately and met our pleasant server Lauren R. We shared her space with a table for nine plus two other tables also full. It took some time to place an order for adult beverages and to order our meals (burger and street tacos). Receiving the meals also took some time but when served it was all tasty. Second beers were received in due time. Check was provided immediately. Food was amazing! We got fried pickles & mozzarella because we couldn't decide! Both were fantastic. The marinara with the mozzarella was some of the best I've ever had. We also ordered the Hawaiian pizza & Tavern burger. Pizza wasn't much to look at but still tasty. Burger was great (even tho they forgot the onion ring), but those sweet potato fries (sprinkled with cinnamon sugar) were even better . Service wasn't excellent. First we were introduced to one server then another took over without explanation. I've been going here for 10years! Well, I think they opened 10yrs ago? They have the best food. I've never had anything that was not tasty. My personal favorite are the Wings, Archer Style. The wings are always hot and meaty and the archers wing sauce is amazing. The servers are always pleasant and never seem to stop moving. Their beer selection is rather impressive as well. We don't go to Archer's very often, so it's easy to notice dining experience changes over time. We decided to head to Archers on Sunday afternoon to grab a bite to eat and watch the Bengals play the Jets. My expectation was that we would have to wait for a table because the it's was the end of Q1, but the restaurant was nearly empty. Not a good sign. Naturally we were promptly seated and our waitress was very nice and attentive. I noticed the food prices were escalated, but this is true for most other places these days. Unfortunately, they were out of onion rings? The burgers were pretty decent, but my Buffalo chicken wrap was sub-par because it had very few pieces of chicken. Because the restaurant was empty, we noticed that the HVAC system was very loud. It was loud enough to be a distraction during table talk conversation. I know times are tough, but I expect better from Archer's Judging by the lack of patronage during a Bengals games leads me to believe I'm not alone in my observations. read more
