Ice cold taps that are well managed. Perfect pour of an Alaskan amber. Wings were huge, juicy, and really enjoyed the 3 pepper sauce. Criticism: could have been cooked 1 more minute in the friar to render the fat out of the skin and make it a bit crispier. The bartender, Val, manages the scene with deceptive efficiency and knows a large number of regulars and semi-regulars by name. She seems to enjoy her job and the clients. Great bar. Not wheelchair friendly at all. They only offer bar and high top seating inside. The patio does have wheelchair friendly tables but real enjoyable eating outside when it's 35 degrees out. Sad that restaurants don't think of customers with mobility issues. read more

I said they're not supposed to be doing this .... bartender says yes it's ok - I went outside to try to enjoy myself where people smoked / and or vapped. A hot day so went there to a nice cold beer and some food. Went in and immediately decided no food just a beer because we just didn't trust the place, it was not the cleanest. Went out to the patio bar and got served a nice warm beer! Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered another. This one was worse! Made a comment to the bartender and his reply was what do you expect from a patio bar. Well I expect cold beer! Said the seals are bad on the cooler yada yada yada. I adore Bargos. Local bar with an attentive and friendly staff, the service is always on point. Also, if you are looking for something other than drinks- they have great food and heathy delicious options as well (not just your everyday bar menu). Only downside is they do get pretty packed, especially in the summer- patio seating is limited. If you want to get a seat you have to get there pretty early. Tonight my friends and I stopped into Bargos for some drinks and were very disappointed in the drinks served, they tasted nothing like they should (whiskey sour, Long Island, mai tai ) our bartender was rude and told us we ordered our drinks wrong... when every single one of them was repulsive. We picked up 3 meals and an appetizer. We all had the chicken tenders and tried a several of the sauces. The chicken was tender and crispy. Probably the best tenders I've had in the city. The sauces were all very flavorful. We also got the Tater Tots that were crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. Had it a few nights ago. Pretty decent sized placed to hang and relax and chill with friends. They have a lot of beer selection and tons and tons of TV. The only thing that was bummer was limited food selection. I understand the main theme is drinks but if you are gonna offer a menu at least have with some options. Pros: -Bar food, big portions - Selection of hot sauces -Even had Sweet Potato Fries Could improve: - a better menu selection. -More staff to attend to when busy .Bathroom could use remodeling. possible Pool table in near future. read more
