Came in to watch football, drink beer and eat pizza...this place was perfect! Four of us split a large specialty pizza it was pepperoni with their special honey sauce and DAMN IT WAS GOOD! They cut the squares so tiny, one bite per piece and we loved it! It's a "hole in the wall" with a great menu, clean facility and pool & darts. Not pricy, we will be back! read more

Mack's has a classic dive bar feel, but don't be fooled by the outside -- the inside is actually much bigger than it appears. They have dart boards (regular and electronic), which are free to play, as well as three pool tables in the back that cost $1.25 per game. In addition, they have an air hockey table, foosball table, golden tee and a pin ball machine. Safe to say, there's plenty of things to do. The drinks are cheap, and they have a full kitchen. Went in with a friend on a Saturday night to play pool and have a drink. Glad we did! Pool tables are in great shape. Tap lines had clearly been cleaned. Bartender was grumpy because the place was empty on a Saturday night. Understandable. But was grumpy in that Oscar-the-Grouch kind of charming way. Was great for us--felt like we stepped into a private basement to play and drink. Visited after food hours, so can't comment on kitchen. read more

Mack's is a local bar with a divey-feel. It is clean and the bartenders are always nice. I personally love the be-dazzled women's room with rhinestones glued on the walls, toilets, and stalls. There's a good selection of beer on tap - your traditional stuff, and a full bar for cocktails. If you're looking for your glass of wine ladies, be prepared for the dive-bar selections. They have a popcorn machine which levels them up in my opinion. Mack's Pizza is supposed to be great, but it reminds me of typical Dayton bar pizza: thin, cardboard-esque, and greasy. It does the trick though if you're snacky. Darts in the front and pool in the back. There's a few other games as well. In the summer you'll note a larger biker crowd which has reserved parking near the front. Mack's boasts a small patio, but usually I find this is for the smokers. I will forewarn you, while I've had several great nights at Mack's with friends. I've also encountered a "rougher" crowd looking to start something with my friends for no reason. They crowded us out of the back pool table where we'd been all evening, and one of the drunk guys threatened violence against my sister. It didn't come down to fists, but was close. While these people are no reflection of Mack's as an establishment, it does bear warning that you might encounter problem people. Overall, I like Mack's and would likely go back. I will however, quickly leave if I get the slightest feeling that an unsavory group is around. read more

I was here for st Patrick's day and the food was terrible. I went straight to the the bar and asked the bartender for a Killians. She tells me they don't sell it which clearly they do because I could see bottles of it in the fridge. I pointed them out to her she then got me one. I then asked for a order of corned beef and cabbage. She replied are we out? How the hell should I know I don't work there. They show us where the buffet table is. There was a sign on the table that ask us to pay before we ate and I'm guessing the girl didn't know she was suppose to charge us for. I'm glad we didn't pay because the food was awful. Now for the good things about this bar. Its a dive bar with cheap drinks. It has plenty of TVs and pool tables in the back. This place would a good hole in the wall joint to hang with your boys at. Really good pizza! Big bar, pool tables, darts! The only negatives are it's a Steelers bar & they don't have a lot of beers on tap.

I give this a 4 because they do SO much for the community and food trucks, especially during the pandemic. I love this place. Service is always good. We ate brunch here. Food was served on paper plates and yummy. Will go back again and again. She actually shuts her kitchen down and encourages patrons to eat from whatever food truck she has out front. Times are hard for everyone and it's such a selfless thing do when your business is also suffering. Also dog friendly and they do so much for animals. The staff here is usually very nice. However, today I had a rude waitress for no reason. She approached me and immediately demanded to see my id, which was fine but then didn't ask my friends who are both younger than me. I'm not sure what I did to piss her off as I've never met her in my life before. I then had my credit card on the table right next to me and she aggressively took it without asking so I was just confused at that point. I'm not sure what I did for her to be so mean to mean and extremely nice to my friends. Don't plan on coming back anytime soon as I had never had a waitress treat me like this. She was blonde with wavy hair and didn't wear her mask with was also concerning. Just hoping if I ever go back I'll have a better experience than I did with her. read more

Changing my review due to the last 2 times we have went the service has been absolutely not worth it. Drinks running empty, we waited on our check for over 10 minutes when both staff on the floor decided to go smoke making it overall about 15 mins maybe longer just to get our check. read more

Went to Macks tavern for St. patty's day. Wow, there had to be way to many people allowed in for the space! It was asses to elbows packed and no way to get a drink unless you wanted Miller lite or bud light from the side vendor. The wait staff acts as though they are doing you a favor taking your order. So many better bars in the area! The "best of" awards are rigged so don't believe Mack's is one of the best for anything. It's dark and not friendly! The food is bar average! read more

Ordered a papa joins pizza delivered here after playing pool and buying drinks for 3 hrs. Didn't know they served their own pizza... After an escalation with a very angry bartender for ordering outside pizzas, he threw my 2 pizzas out in the street and punched me... seriously, sounds made up I know. We proceeded to teach him a lesson in who to pick fights with, wasn't pretty for him at all. Stay away from this place tho, ridiculous, unsafe. read more

I am usually very forgiving, but this place is really bad. My wife and I had to wait to get our first drinks while the bartender was taking care of her kids who were at the bar with her. They had $1.00 draft beer from little plastic cups, and the front area was jam packed with smokers. You get the picture- red neck heaven. read more

I have been into this bar multiple times- I have really tried hard to support it because it is locally owned. The service has always been mediocre at best. I stopped going in a few months ago because the service was so slow and borderline rude- definitely not a friendly staff. A friend and I gave it another chance about a week ago. There were 8 people at the bar and there was one bartender who essentially had nothing to do. Our drinks LITERALLY sat empty for 10 minutes before we loudly had to ask for our checks. This place won't survive with the entire staff having an "we don't give a s***" kind of attitude. The pizza is good, the beer prices and selection are good, it just simply comes down to crappy customer service. It's the only place I've ever been into multiple times without the bartender recognizing that you are becoming a "regular" and actually saying hi and offering a drink quickly. This place sucks. read more
