I would rather pay a higher price for them to get the original product. 2. In general, I noticed the icing amount on their donuts and in particular the sticks/bars was noticeably reduced. I have bought donuts from Bill's for 50+ years. Appx. once every 2-3 months I purchased 2-2-1/2 dozen mixed variety, put them in the chest freezer and we ate them 1 or 2 at a time (microwaved). They are not cute or fancy, but they are tasty and well done classics. We got a big variety and I loved the custard filled long John the best - it was a nice ratio of filling and the frosting wasn't too sweet. The dough was also soft and fresh. I even liked the old fashioned cake donuts, which typically are not my favorite as they can be a bit dry and flavorless. Not so with these! They were lightly crisp on the outside, not dry at all, and lightly glazed.

The croissant was impressive-it tasted like I was back in Paris. It just felt like I was in my hotel lobby having breakfast with all the paper products. I opted for an assortment of to go pastries to try--almond croissant, lemon blueberry scone, and coffee cake. They were all pretty delicious, except the scone. The coffee cake was the best.
