We had to flag down our server who brought it over a few minutes later without an apology for the wait. I could see the servers were spread thin and waiting on a lot of tables each but if the person delivering the food would have pitched in a bit, things would have run much smoother.

I had Bangers & Mash - sausage (3 pieces) with imported horseradish mustard, mashed potatoes, gravy, delicious baked beans. It went perfectly with my pint! It was a warm afternoon so the glass garage doors were opened wide and folks were eating and drinking outside in the beer garden too. The vibe was loud, lively and very positive. Music was old school British Invasion '60s style. Good times seemed to be had by everyone. We finished with a locally produced Chocolate Rum Cake - it was rum forward and smooth, dark chocolatey! He was happy to share some info about sites to see in Dayton, for future reference, a city he clearly loves. When we were leaving we looked for him to thank him and say goodbye, but didn't see him.
