Cool place to come!
Tiffany D.

Had fun you going here today! I wanted a light beer and they recommended one! It was a toxic blonde! It was good! The atmosphere was good and welcoming! This is a cool place to come!

We stopped in yesterday while taking a walk through the Oregon District after lunch. My husband ordered the Aitchison & Tippett brown ale. He said the beer was good. Not great but good. He said he'd give it a 3.5 There's a lot of plants in the high windows and along the walls - which I really liked. We didn't stay long so can't judge the atmosphere.

The paragon of misogyny!

1/28/23 Easily the worst bar I have ever been too and Staff is ironically toxic. In my entire life, I have NEVER been thrown out of a bar. I'm not rude and like supporting local establishments. I also respected their desire to remove us and put up zero resistance even though the only crime we committed was having my wife use the men's restroom with me vs. waiting in a line of 10 women. I was being a good husband addressing her female biology issues. Horrible people and sexist. A lot of bars are moving towards unisex restrooms which help alleviate issues like we had. Again, we were not drunk, wasn't belligerent, and were literally doing nothing that merited the way they treated us. We will never be back and I encourage you to walk past this establishment when exploring options. There are MANY more kind, respectful, and interesting establishments to explore in this area! 6/21/23 Update to Tyler Gilcher's response: I want to thank this bar for their reply as they are clearly too stupid to even formulate a good lie. First, she did have female issues and for someone who was "fading" it's quite amazing she could sit on a stool without falling. Maybe gravity in this bar functions different than the rest of our universe. It is true that the female restroom was across from the men's but as I explained she had female issues. I'm not surprised that the management would be quick to dismiss that given their sexist predilections. We DON'T do drugs and were not talking about "doing Coke" in the restroom. In fact, it was the dudes in line to get in talking about coke loudly. One of which was apparently an employee. It's actually hilarious that while in a stall, in a restroom with a closed door, with loud patrons, and a bar that is easily 20 feet away that they could hear us loudly talking about coke lmfao! Again, I'm not surprised that "management" here can't even formulate a good lie without looking stupid. For fun sake, let's say we were talking about coke. Who cares? It could have been a joke, something we were reading on the graphited walls, etc. Maybe do some research first before being both judge and jury? Speaking of locked doors, had they read my original review correctly, the issue wasn't the door to the restroom. It was the stall with a broken lock. Isn't it funny how they make assumptions about my ability to put up a post at 4:00am and yet ignore the fact that I was capable of putting up a relatively cognitive post at that time? I was pissed at their physical abuse and strange behavior. After getting back to our room we began to read other reviews on tripadvisor.com and realized that the workers here have a history of abusing patrons, especially older patrons. In terms of the cool skeleton we took photos with, we did not "knock it down." That is just a bold lie. Funny how they never posted photos showing so. Yes, they did manhandle us and never explained why. It is also true that we have visited other bars as well but were by no means even slightly inebriated at only 9:45pm. Kind of funny how they can admit my "kind ways" and yet act like they know the side effects of an actual person on Coke. I only know of one person who has ever done coke and can tell you that it makes them angry and wild. Both attributes in their only reply that they recounted the opposite representation of us as we were being manhandled out of the bar. Let me also add that they never identified themselves as they were yelling into the restroom. I had no idea of who we were dealing with other than it sounding like violent guys acting like they were on coke. Their largely fabricated lie reply simply provides additional evidence to the toxicity they represent. Karma finds a way and one day it will pay its respects to them sevenfold! Please feel free to read other reviews like we did. There is a clear pattern of abuse, age discrimination, and sexism.

We had a great time here on a Sunday night. GPS led me around the corner, but it's easy to find if you're watching. Parking is difficult in this neighborhood. We each had one beer, as we knew we were going somewhere else. They have a lot of their own, plus other stuff on tap. The bartender did a great job describing things and helping us pick, and we got into discussions on various other topics. Everyone there, staff and customers, seemed to be having a good time. The beers were good- I had a porter which was hearty but mellow. Definitely worth a visit to try more. There's a food window but it was closed when we were there.

Toxic is an awesome brewery in the heart of the Oregon district! A friend and I stopped in here to check them out and they certainly didn't disappoint. It's great to see so many amazing breweries in Ohio and this is a fine example. They have many different brews on tap and our bartender was happy to make recommendations based on our taste. So of course I had to try a couple different IPA's! Both were super hoppy, pretty bitter and exactly how I like it. Watch out though for the Triple IPA, it packs a punch with 12% alcohol! But it's so so good! These guys are awesome and I would definitely recommend them!

What's Up to my YELP! Fam!! Now I know this picture isn't super crazy exciting except for having beer on the streets thanks to DORA but let me tell you a bit more.... I stopped by Toxic Brew Company this Sunday afternoon as I was in Dayton for work and needed to have a quick drink, Toxic is always a great place but when the sun is shining on a Sunday, but this experience was a tad bit different. I was greeted with a ton of awesome furry friends and got some awesome information about howI could help support local animals and more in the Dayton community. You are like Jourdan get to the beer bruh! I know lol. So the beer I had was the SCPA beer that they tapped that day, I believe that they will continue to carry for some time but they had some amazing cans for sale that were absolutely adorable! I will get more details and check back in, let me know if you check it out for yourself and give your thoughts. Beer: 9/10

We stopped here for a couple beers and it was ok. I had the ISO EPa which is a fairly mildly hopped India Pale Ale. This is a microbrewery that serves good beer and bar food. I'm a fan of pale ales and none they had fit that. It's a great place to stop for a couple beers and kick back. I'm sure I'll be back.

Toxic Blonde

It feels like it's always Halloween at Toxic Brewing Company. It has lots of decorations. There's skulls and zombies. Beer itself is really good. They seem to have an endless number of taps. I had the Toxic Blonde. It's about $5 a pint. This is a light tasting beer that's really smooth. There's many more interesting sounding beers so you have to make several visits. It has more than 20 taps so they have lots to choose from. They don't look big enough to handle so much but they do it somehow. It doesn't have any food but you can bring some in. There's several nearby places. It's in the middle of the Oregon District. Parking sucks around here of course. There's usually some free spots on Brown Street.

I may be joining the bandwagon a "tad" late, but I'm absolutely LOVING the awesome breweries we've had the pleasure of "discovering" recently, including this GEM in the Oregon District in Dayton!! I love the more relaxed atmosphere, the TON of choices (and great info) even a non-beer fanatic like myself can't resist, and just the general up and coming vibe of these great labors of love!! We got a Groupon for three tastings per person, along with two souvenir glasses and a growler. We smartly arrived pretty early on a Saturday evening (around 6pm) and found nearby parking (my constant worry when heading over to the Oregon District) and great seats right at the bar. AWESOME bartender did a great job of keeping up with what everyone needed, including a good number of people beside us with those "pesky" Groupons!! He had NO BACKUP, and we saw the poor guy apparently trying to call someone else in, but no luck while we were there, and service really didn't miss a beat. He needed HELP though, felt bad for the guy, and hope that's not the usual situation on a busy Saturday night.... We enjoyed our flights, soooooooo many tempting choices, it was hard to decide which to take home in our new growler. We'll have to come back SOON to try more!! Nice place, great décor, well worth supporting this awesome spot!!

I stopped by here on a trip to visit friends in Dayton. It was our first bar of the night and easily my favorite. Cool beer list with eclectic names. I loved the skeleton decor throughout the place. I had a grapefruit drink with dried blood orange and it was a stiff, but good cocktail. My husband enjoyed all the draft beers he tried. The bartenders were friendly and it had a cool vibe. I couldn't stop laughing that they had Barefoot Chardonnay on tap for $7 though, which is clearly the price of a bottle, but who orders that at a brewery?? I love this place and can't wait to be in the area to stop by. Bonus its next to a cool Salvation Army if you want to pop intor a thrift store your next visit !

I have been back to Toxic several times and always want to like it, but never really do. We came here after dinner on a Saturday and it just is a night ender. The beers they make are so hit or miss on quality and taste, Blonde is absolutely awful. They have guest taps and liquor so finding something to drink is fine, but I want to drink the local beer, but just don't like theirs. Wish I did. It's nice they have popcorn and shuffleboard, but the setup is bad. When the bar is busy you can't move or play shuffleboard because the bar line goes into it. They need to reorganize or something and hope they can get their beer up to the quality of some of their neighbors and I'd be back, otherwise it's not likely. Love the plants everywhere too, but they are just not enough for us to return any time soon.

Delicious selection!!!

This place has the greatest feel inside! I didn't even know this Brewery existed and looked on yelp for something new. I love the decor, love the variety of beer choices and love the friendliness of the staff! I only wish there were a small food menu. The good thing is, they had fresh popped popcorn. That was a plus!

We met our kids in Dayton, which is about a halfway point for us each, for lunch this Saturday. We'd been wanting a good burger so I started looking for options and when I saw this place it was a no brainer. Slyders did not disappoint! The burgers are done on a flat top that's probably been in their kitchen since they opened in 1948. Talk about flavor!! The burger is good quality, tender, and full of great beef flavor, cranked out on that flat top to a crispy brown exterior. Great fresh tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles and cheese make this burger oh so good!! Add a basket of perfectly fried HUGE onion rings and a cold beer, there's nothing better!! Top top it off the service was incredible. We had 3 or 4 guys stopping by checking on drinks, napkins, ect... The energy in this bar was comfortable and you felt like you were a "regular" even if you'd never stepped in the door before in your life. With big bear hugs and handshakes we left full of great food and a warm soul. Slyders is going on my "ride for a burger" list this summer on the bikes. It'll be well worth 2hr ride to get there!! .

Our server, TAYLOR was the best. So friendly, patient, accommodating, and fun. She made our meal experience. The selection of beers is impressive, and Taylor helped my decision with giving me samples of beers. I went with the Imperial Head Hunter and was happy as can be with this IPA, The food? Incredible. We started with mozzarella sticks and faux chicken tenders as appetizers. Both were great. The mango habanero sauce is more sweet than spicy. But both the cheese and chicken tenders were wonderful. Our appetizer +, was the tequila vegan chili. We don't find veggie chili very often, but this was prepared with veggie chili, beans and soyrizo. It was wonderful. My wife chose the jackfruit Reuben sandwich. Those of us that are vegetarian, miss favorites like Reuben sandwiches. This jackfruit Reuben met the challenge. Delicious and plentiful. I had the Fierro burger with an impossible patty. Definitely not as spicy as I wanted, but delicious nonetheless. It has a Thai-style Marinade, with Peanut Butter, Fresh Cilantro, Cucumbers, Pickled Carrots, Jalapeños, and Sriracha Sauce. The restaurant itself is a bit of a hole in the wall. Nothing fancy but they have a lot of interesting and yummy sounding dishes, with many vegetarian and vegan options. I'd love to try other items but just can't pull myself away from The Cobra. They also have a good beer selection and the servers are friendly. Food came out quickly and several people checked in on us to make sure everything was good.
