We've driven by this establishment a few times over the years and the lovely mrs stated she was hungry so we decided to stop in and check it out. Having never been we had no idea what to expect. We found out that you order food at the counter to the left as you walk in. Grabbed a menu, checked it out and decided on cheese curds and a walnut salad to share. Then off to the bar to order beverages. Hard cider and a Diet Coke. The cider I was not a fan of so lucky I had the Diet Coke as a backup. Food showed up shortly after. The salad and curds were both delicious but mercy, they were kind of expensive... it was a chilly day but would guess this place is packed when it's super nice out. The interior decorating is kind of a little all over but it's super nice. Well laid out once you get how it all works. 1/4/25 My husband and I came here to Eudora Brewing Company for the first time together. It is a fantastic spot! Housed in a large, warehouse-style space, it offers both a brewery and a restaurant under one roof. We came here for my husband's friend's surprise 40th birthday celebration and loved it. Spencer took care of us while here, from cleaning up the party room to recommending foods and beers to us. He was absolutely helpful and deserves all the raises. With his recommendations, we tried a flight of beers, and each one was tasty. For food, we had tater tots, wings, and fried cauliflower bites--all absolutely delicious! The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. There's plenty of space for large groups and even games for both kids and adults. Eudora is a cool spot. The inside is huge -- think brewery in a warehouse. They have some games (pool, darts, hockey, arcade) which I wasn't expecting. They also have events during the week that you should check out (Music Bingo on Tuesdays, Trivia on Wednesdays). We went on a Wednesday not expecting trivia and it started to fill up quickly as 7pm approached. They have a good variety of tables, but definitely could've used more as there were several groups hanging around the bar looking for people to leave so they could snag a table. They have an in-house kitchen offering a range of items including appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, tacos and salads. I tried the 'thunderball beef' street tacos and they were pretty good. Prices for the food seemed reasonable too. All in all, I was impressed with Eudora and definitely think it would be a fun place to hang especially when the weather gets nice as they can open the garage doors to give it an indoor-outdoor vibe. read more

This is a great atmosphere for family friendly breweries! It's spacious and has a great layout. We pack a little entertainment bag for our kids and they love it! They enjoyed the grilled cheese kids meal! I tried the taco flight- and it was great! Out of the three tacos the Thunderball Beef was the BEST and I would exclusively order this only next time. The carnitas and shrimp weren't my favorite. The fries and the chips here are definitely great! The ranch (even though it's vegan) is also tasty! I'd return and try other menu items! read more

Eudora Brewing Company is a fun, funky place to grab a beer or two and enjoy the outdoors. It was a little chilly outside on the day we went, so we stayed inside, which is nice as well. I enjoyed a tasty oatmeal stout and a huge chicken sandwich, which was delicious. My wife tried the root beer. She said it was a bit on the sweet side but still good. The staff was friendly and got us our food and drinks quickly. We will definitely go back on a warmer day and hang out outside next time. read more

Eudora is a great place for an after-work beer or two. They have a large taproom, and a big outdoor beer garden for when weather permits. The beer selection includes a good variety of styles, with both regulars and rotating selections. The food options are limited, but everything is good, and they proudly advertise the local sources of their ingredients. Finally, the entire staff is really friendly and good at what they do. Really solid brewery. They have a super big open space that is great for hanging out. They have pool tables, outdoor seating, & great food. I went on a Wednesday and it was packed and super fun vibes with trivia night going on. I ordered the fried pickles and the dry rub wings. Dry rub wings blew my mind. It was flavorful and had a hint of sweetness that I was not expecting but was very pleasant. It's served with a blue cheese dip that I could actually taste the blue cheese without being ultra chunky! Loved it! Fried pickles were also good and the better stuck to the pickle and didn't fall off if you took a bite. That's how you know a fried pickle is done right! I got two beers and both were amazing. I got the groove juice which is a hazy ipa and the tropical tryst which is a sour. Both were super tasty and I had to get both when I asked for a sample since I couldn't pick one over the other. Service was really good and staff was very nice. I love the selection of beers, they even have their own root beer on draft. The food is very fresh and delicious. I like that they buy ingredients from other local businesses. They have darts in the corner, which is fun on a weekend afternoon. The guy who does trivia's on Wednesday is great! We go here often and enjoy the big open space inside or the huge patio. Thought I'd give this place another chance after a few years. What I remembered was ok food that has to be ordered from a separate area, with rude kitchen staff. Beer that was subpar - thin. Great names, but lacking, not something one would search out. A brewery atmosphere that seems cool, but patronizes boring suburbanites with zero conversation. I arrived at 9:04 pm after checking that they closed at 10, and walked to the food area to place an order before getting a beer. I was told, "Sorry, we stop serving food at nine." As there is nothing open past 10 in the metropolitan area of Dayton, and didn't feel like driving across town, I asked if I could simply grab a sub at the place across the street. The answer was a passive, "We don't really allow that..." and the woman walked away. I would have purchased three beers at $8 apiece. Trust your gut and skip this place. Unless you live subpar craft beer and poor service. read more

Funny thing about this place, it was quieter inside than outside. Parking is a nightmare, and once you get inside, I have to wonder why. Plenty of seating, plenty of room. Two separate queues - one for food, and they have a sign above the "Order Here" queue. If the sign is white, your order will be ready in about 15 minutes. Blue is 20 minutes, etc. We enjoyed the Chicken Wings, a Eudora Burger, french fries, and a half salad. The dry rub wings were amazing. Sweet, tangy, and crispy. Plenty of flavor, and still juicy on the inside. Top notch. The burger was very good. The bacon was actually the highlight of the burger, and they added crispy onion straws as well. No complaints. French fries were bigger than average, but smaller than steak. Seasoned to absolute perfection. I had the Sundowner, and my wife had a glass of Cabernet. No complaints from either of us on the beverages! Summary: Great brewery, fun selection, relatively inexpensive, and great food. read more

We went here for a work related social hour and I must say the place was amazing. Walking in the door it felt almost like a childhood playground. I couldn't decide where to go and what I wanted to do first! I decided to get a beer (not a big drinker) but I love a sour. They just happened to have a very intriguing one on the menu. It was named Maniac and was a tart cherry sour. Just perfect for me. Next on my list was food. Most important. Lol. There was a long line and the place was packed, so I decided to get in line. The line moved quickly and I decided on the taco flight which consisted of a Gambas, Adobe, and Chicken Carne Asada taco. Loved all of them but my favorite was the Gambos because the Mango puree inside was unexpected and delicious in the taco! My co-worker ordered fried pickles to share and they were great! I took the family here on Father's Day because we wanted something different and we drive by it all the time. It's an interesting set up where you order your food in one area and the drinks at the bar. Food was ok at best. They had a variety of beers which they brew in house. We tried a couple different ones but wasn't too impressed. The clientele was definitely diverse. I guess if you are into IPA beers then this is a place for you. Not only does this brewery have delicious beer, but they have a very tasty root beer as well. Find myself straying away from the beer to have a root beer every time I am there. Good food too. After hearing about Eudora Brewery in Kettering, how kid/dog friendly it is we decided to meet our friends for dinner there last night. We had our dog Stella, that belongs to our special needs child, our toddler, and my good friend that has a medically complex airway with us. Sadly we left extremely disappointed and will never be back. After working customer service type jobs my whole working life, I have never been so disheartened. It had recently rained but the sun was out blazing hot, and humid. So we started to head inside to grab a dry table. We were met at the door rudely by staff stating that dogs were not aloud inside. I said "ok no problem, do you mind wiping down an outside table for us and putting up an umbrella since the sun is out full force?" Staff member - We aren't putting umbrellas up today due to the weather" There was no wind whatsoever , and again sun out full force.. and she never bothered to wipe down the table. Our spouses had already gone and paid for our drinks or we would just left. We sit down, followed by another couple seated next to us. The same lady comes out with a squeegee and dries off their table looking right at us with our soaking wet table drying it off with our own blankets and towels from our cars. We get our food, and it starts to cloud up and rain we went to put up our own umbrella. Without success because they take the cranks off of the umbrellas so guest can't put them up themselves ?! We then go BACK to our vehicles and get out two large golf umbrellas and sit there in the rain to finish our let than mediocre dinner. Eudora Brewery do better. This corner, warehouse brewery was our first stop after mass. Plenty of parking in the lot. Outdoor and indoor seating. A line had formed to order food inside but we decided to eat elsewhere. There was a hazy on the board but we went for their Greater than One - a double IPA. Perhaps not the right choice, but it was a decent brew. I liked the interior decor. Old and new time feel. Generally, I really enjoy coming here. It's spacious, has good food and great brews. I've gotten their tacos a few times, the poutine, as well as the spinach artichoke dip. I definitely do recommend the spinach artichoke dip if you get a shareable. Regarding beer, their Maniac sour ale is a great sour, in my opinion. All of the above is why they're getting 4 stars instead of 2 or 3. The service here from those in the kitchen needs work. I came in with a group of friends on a Sunday right when they opened. We placed our orders by 12:10 pm (they opened at 12pm) and 5 of us received our orders in a timely manner, but 1 did not. An hour later, it still hadn't come out and we went up to ask what was going on. The kitchen staff was incredibly rude and said it was an hour and a half wait, despite the fact that 20+ people who ordered after us had gotten and finished their food. After another 30 minutes, the final order of our group was still not out, and we went to ask about it again and it was met with passive aggression and rude was about the hour and a half wait. I love their new location. It is super airy, spacious. They have a larger patio with fire pits. They have a dog watering area. There is plenty of seating, and a little area to the side for tater tots to play in. They now have a kitchen, and i was impressed. Was in town and looked up Eudora on yelp. We arrived just as they opened and was surprised to see we were part of a caravan turning in. You know your at a good place when all of the locals rush to get there when they open. Got a flight and a couple pints. All of the beers were great. Ordered appetizers and sandwiches. We stoped in for lunch and a beer. We tried these beers Ohio larger, Slap shot, good day sunshine, thunder ball. We ended up going home with a howler of the slap shot and good day sunshine. Eudora has in door and out door seating area, pool tables, and a real dart board. The have food on sight too, we got the fried sweet pickles, this is a must try, slight sweetness to batter, like a pancake batter with the hint of cinnamon . They have a fabulous traditional poutine. Stree tacos are as expected. The cheese curds are large beer batter and fried to golden goodness seared with a side of something like a Alabama white sauce. On our own, personal run of the Dayton Brewery Trail, this was definitely one of my favorites!! I liked Eudora's set up, industrial/casual feel, and interesting selection of their own and other local brews. I think we got the last available parking space on a busy, early spring Saturday late afternoon/early evening... Luckily we found seating inside without a problem. I expect they'll be even more popular once the warm weather's here to stay, esp. with their great outdoor patio space!! Our only slight "minus" on what otherwise was a great experience was ordering food. Until they either get the "kinks" out of the process, or decide to get more help in the kitchen, we'll probably eat before we come here, or after we leave. After an approx. 45 minute wait for his steak tacos, they arrived cold. It's an added bonus having an in-house kitchen at a brewery, and this one has some really tempting choices, but I think they've still got some work to do in that area. We had a wonderful evening on the patio! Because of the unique space Eudora occupies (an old Pep Boys garage) they have more open area to spread out seating than any restaurant or pub I know. At 7:30pm on a Thursday there was like a 10 minute wait for a patio table but it was well worth it. They have a great system for ordering and even though there is no table service and you go inside to order, because it's so big with large open garage doors, it's feels okay. The burgers (Eudora and Roja) were perfect with cold beer. The sweet potato fries, a little salty. Beer selection seemed good, but that's not really my specialty. I did enjoy the hefeweizen because I don't like a lot of hops, but that's really the only one that looked appealing. Next time we'll do a flight! read more

What a fantastic spot to enjoy some great kitchen goodness and craft beers right in our own back yard in the Gem City. Eudora is1st, this facility is everything, it's the brewery, the kitchen and a huge eating area. TVs throughout the faculty and tons of garage doors that open up the venue to give it one big amazing summer feel. Different seating areas inside that are COVID closed and they have a private meeting room, closed too, plus some table top games, football and pinball machines. Thank you for having a kids menu and high chairs, we love when breweries think of families too. The 'No way Norway', unfiltered farmhouse ale has a very unique, but great taste we loved it and their 'Good Day Sunshine' hefe has splendid taste as well. They have 9 regulars on the tap menu and then 9 experimental brews to choose from. I heard you can even use their facility to brew your own as well, how genius is that? Can't wait to try their very one root beer made in house. Now to the food, amazing, amazing, amazing. From the pretzel and beer cheese (which I must admit made me salivate for more. They have some more shareable's that I've gotta go back to try. My wife's Eudora burger, which I will totally get next time was oh my goodness, one of the top 5 best burgers I've had and I've been all over the states and the world. I think I'd choose it over shake shack or five guys for sure, it's that good, the flavor was crazy mind and tummy blowing good. Not sure if it was the Eudora sauce, but man I can't wait to try that burger for myself. Do yourself a favor if you are in Dayton and want a burger, come to Eudora, it's the best burger in Dayton hands down. Okay, now own to the grilled cheese, my entree of choice, it was amazing, had about 4 or 5 cheeses in it, which made it oooo so good and every bite brought a different combination of flavor, it was like the grilled cheese of skittles. You'll love it, just wish it was a little bigger and that is my only complaint, make the grilled cheese bigger please. Eudora is an awesome local brewery just south of Dayton. I happened to stop here on my way to a friends house and had some time to kill. I'm so happy I did. I didn't try the food, though the burgers looked amazing! The Bangarang IPA was delicious and the service was fantastic! I also tried the Peanut Butter Porter and it too was awesome! And of course we had some of their beer to sip on. It was a great way to spend some time, to brew and to talk about beer, how it's made and the details of brewing. Beer flights are terrific. Food...not so much. We got an assortment of munchies to have with our beer, and nobody liked any of them. It's a younger crowd for the most part, and pool and other games to amuse patrons. We sat on leather sofas in front of the fire cause that's how we roll. My best advice. Food was good! Location was good - music was a little loud but it's summer. Bar Service sucked. Understand that you are busy on Friday nights and don't do flights but very stingy when asking for a sample of your beer. Only allowed 1 "sample" (if you can call it that). The bar tender - young girl with dark hair - was not very friendly and not willing to share information when I asked her about your beer. We had never been to this brewery and we were looking forward to trying several beers. Instead we got 1 "sample" which was barely covering the bottom of the taster glass. When we did order our pints, our glasses were put down in front of us, no thank, no smile. Clearly this dark hair girl did not want to be behind the bar. Perhaps she should be doing the dishes instead. That suits her personality. Very disappointing. read more

Fantastic, spacious brewery with a wide selection of different beer types to drink. Beer tastes good, there's so much available seating and space, and they have a limited restaurant menu to make sure you don't go hungry either. Awesome! PROS: -Oh my god, this space is SO large and perfect. We came during Memorial Day weekend (after I spent the morning going back and forth on whether that was a good idea with the crowds) only to find that Eudora is so beautifully huge and spacious that even the holiday weekend didn't seem "cramped". -Seating is so beautifully varied. You have the bartop seating, tons and tons of tables, indoor tables and outdoor tables, couches, and more. The only thing this place doesn't have is booths, really. -Eudora has a bit of a focus towards environmental-friendliness. I can't tell you about all their practices, but I was impressed by their water bottle refilling fountain - and the nearby clean stacked cups. Not only does this eliminate the "single glass" water pours that bars usually do and reduce the stress on the bar staff to pour water, but you can bring your own water bottle and never have to wait in line for water! -Beer flights are pretty darn cheap. I'd recommend starting your adventure there. As Eudora only has 12-ish beers, their six beer flight covers the vast majority of them in one go. The bartender will ask you to write down the names of your choices on a laminated paper, and you can easily reference that paper when you're back at your table. -Line for beers ends up decently long most of the time. Since there's no table service, you pretty much get up and stand in line to get your beers whenever you want it. Staff kept up on the line most of the time, and when there was a noticeable pause, it was usually a customer holding up the line. -Each table has a binder full of beer information. We were surprised this binder didn't include the food menu (we had to find that online), but it was really nice to have full information about each individual beer they made right at our fingertips. It made our tasting experience so much nicer to go "oh, I definitely taste the honey hints they added!" instead of guesstimating information. -Of course, the beers are all pretty good too. I was impressed by the variety of types. If you just like Budlight, they have a beer for you. If you want the hoppiest beer known to man, they have a beer for you. Stouts? Yep. IPAs? Yep. Despite having a (relatively limit) beer selection compared to a lot of breweries, they manage to fit in SO many different beer types, and it's impressive. No matter your beer tastes, you're likely to find a beer that fits it. Their stout was so good that I wanted to take some home. -Designated Driver? Yeah, they have some in-house-made root beer too. Didn't try it, but it sounded SO good. I love it when brewing companies have some options for the non-alcoholic too. CONS: -Wasn't too fond of the pretzels. I love that Eudora serves a neat "snack-ish" food menu, but I wasn't too fond of their pretzels - definitely with a crust that's way, way too rough. The included beer cheese, though, was fantastic. -While the rest of the interior has been nicely renovated to really reflect the "brewery" (versus the old building's use), the bathrooms still could use some love. They're not dirty by any means (they're quite clean, actually!), but they feel very, very basic - and like a very different atmosphere - than the rest of the brewery. -Eudora had some pamphlets out that advertised the Dayton brew scene. Only to find out that the information was pretty out of date and some of the included breweries were closed. Same could be said about their displayed poster from a 2018 event. Might be time to update that stuff and make sure patrons are getting good info. read more
