We live close to the Springboro location so go there most often but we really enjoy the Downtown Dayton Warped Wing as well! This weekend we went to the Cellarbration 2026 held at this location. Every couple of years, they crack open a few treasures and share some special releases. This year, they had 22 choices, including my husband's favorite Warped Wing beer of all time, the 2019 Baltic Porter, aged in port wine barrels. We split a trio of sliders and a specialty flavor of wings, Honey Butter Buffalo, which were especially good. We liked all 3 sliders, but the stand out was the pulled pork...absolutely delicious! Because of the event, it was pretty busy at noon but the staff kept things cleared and cleaned. The bathrooms were clean but bare bones. I was here 2 years ago on a business trip and it was a killer experience; that's why I came back. Then: beer was great, food was awesome (for beer food). Now: beer is awesome, food is terrible (for beer food). They're out of fries on a Sunday. They can't seem to figure out how to add my food to my bar-side tab. They're inflexible on the fries substitution. The part of my brisket sandwich that wasn't all fat was good, but there was a lot of fat. There are some restaurants that I look forward to visiting on return business trips. Not this one. read more

What a great place this is. Boyf and I really enjoyed our visit. It's spacious and airy with the garage doors open, decent restrooms, and a big selection of beers on tap. And the Cocktails! There is a food window where you order. There was a sign for beer nuts, so I asked at the window and was told we can actually get them at the bar. So we waited for the bartender to come down our way. Very very cold inside. Honestly that was my biggest takeaway. Visited with family who are local and all of us were frozen from the massive fan circulating. There was no where to get away from it. Every table was affected by it. Food was okay. Nothing special or especially well done we did get called up to pick it up twice before it was actually ready. I will say it seems to be very family friendly. We were there with 2 children under 2 & there was no issue. Almost every other party there had children as well. I do not live here so I will not be back. It was only the second time our local family had been here but they seemed not particularly impressed either. read more

Stopped in for the Killer Brownie Beer pairing at the downtown location. I don't get here enough with the Springboro location a mi Ute from home. I love the really industrial feel. John did a great job with pairing video. I absolutely love the new Cuvée 1796. Amazing and paired with the Carmel Apple Brownie was perfect. Of course the whiskey rebellion with the Mexican Hot chocolate was a smash hit. Radio vision pair worked but still not a huge fan. Came in here on a Friday evening based off of recommendation for the best wings in town. These wings here definitely did not disappoint. They also have beers since it is a brewery and it looks like they had tours going on at the same time. The wings were full of flavor because they were smoked wings and then you get to choose what type of sauce you want to have them toss in. They are probably some of the best wings that I've had. Cool brewery with a large selection of beer and some seltzers too! I ordered the Peach Mango seltzer, which was great for that hot summer day. You can try samples of any beers or seltzers they have on tap to find one you like. The space is big and great for groups, and they have a big garage door they open up sometimes to give more of a patio feel for the seats that sit along it. They also have a few pinball games, which looked cool, but we didn't play any this time. They do also serve food! The green bean fries looked good, so I'll have to come back to try them. read more

This brewery is located in a cool old building downtown. We all ate food and had drinks--I was thrilled that they had cider on tap! The pretzel sticks and my cheese flatbread were great, while my husband had a couple beers and a chicken "nugg" salad. He also bought a tap handle. I think the only complaint I could offer is that the music was loud and made it hard to hear my companions, and the place wasn't even crowded yet at about 5:30 on a Friday. Stopped in for a brew and a bite. There's a small parking lot and it was full so I had to park on the street. Caution; don't park in the lot across the street as it is NOT for WWB customers. I liked the feel of the place and the layout. I sat at the little bar. When I asked for a menu, I was told to order from a small window (actually a split door). I didn't want to drink without getting something to eat. Apparently, the food service is a separate operation for the brewery. At the window, the worker said he wasn't taking any orders right then and pointed to a red light. He said to come back when it turns green. But I'd already ordered a beer and again, wanted food. I waited about 30 mins while milking my drink along. A line quickly form when we got the green light. After waiting in the line another 10 mins, I made it to the window just to be told the food items I wanted, they were out of. It sure would have been nice if they posted a sign saying they were out of XXX. I left fairly disappointed overall and went to a different brewery (lost revenue). I've seen the "separate" food & drinks operations before in breweries. In my opinion, it's not efficient or customer friendly not to mention, inconvenient. There's nothing wrong with the brews here, it's just the way they operate that makes just a two star facility. read more

Tater Kegs 10/10. Crispy on the outside, soft potato with cheese, bacon and chives? inside. Amazing. Bison & Bacon Burger 3/10. Not sure if the cooks know their degrees of cooking meat.. Ordered medium rare, and it was more like well done. Way too overcooked for my liking. The meat had absolutely no flavor and was extremely dry. I also don't think that there was any bacon on it. Could use something wet like an aioli, and also a second slice of cheese. I'd also probably put a whole piece of lettuce instead of chopped/shredded. While waiting to order my food, I was watching the cook make some burgers for another order. They may or may not have been a veggie burger.. They looked burnt to a crisp on the outside. Warped wings 6/10. Got the dry rub, it was a great rub. You can tell the wings are smoked but just slightly. There's a little bit of a sweeter profile to it, maybe cinnamon not sure. Not a huge fan. Meat was juice though. Blue cheese doesn't really taste like blue cheese and it's verrrryyy liquidy. Kettle chips 10/10. They're out of a bag. Seasoned well. The smell of the cleaning agents - and maybe some knooks and crannies that could've been cleaned better, so it was off putting and very strong. It was honestly hard to enjoy the beer with the competing smell of strong sterilizers. They're obviously trying to manage an old building but it's understandably not easy. The beer itself was fine, not great but not horrible. Had one and left. Grab a six pack to go if you can, or try it in a local. Great potential but they have some work to do. read more

My friend had gone here the night before and liked the beer, and I heard they had root beer so I wanted to stop in anyway. We were getting hungry, and they were one of the few breweries with food available, so that sealed the deal. It's in a nondescript industrial building; there's a sign up top but that's hard to see from the street. Look for the big garage door, and the bike rack made from a beer barrel (?) Parking on the street or in the lot across the street. Inside, it's big and open, with cool details and all the equipment visible. Open seating at long tables; order drinks at the bar and food at the little side door. I got a root beer, and two 5 oz samples since I was driving. The root beer was served with ice, sadly, but that didn't affect the flavor too much. It was good, with hints of anise and vanilla. I tried the red lager- mellow, good with food- and the caterpillar saison. I am getting into sours and other oddball beers. This one was described as tasting of blackberry and sweet corn, both of which I love, so I had to try it. The flavors aren't overwhelming, but are there, with a bit of sourness and citrus. Very tasty. Nice selection of food. We tried tacos, chili, and fried asparagus. Tacos were great, fried asparagus as well. The chili was good-not-great. Served lukewarm, with bison and stout in it and cheese on top. Good, don't get me wrong, but not as good as I'd hoped, from the description and the price. Service was good. Prices are reasonable. This a great environment to hang out in. Casual and open space. Family friendly. They have pinball machines, large group baord games, foosball table and large jenga. They even have a bucket of legos! They have a small kitchen that is rented out to business. Currently it is Spent grain i think is the name. The dry rub wings are the bomb! Pizza is pretty ok. They do not do flights like some places, instead you can purchase a little shot sized for a couple bucks. Fun place. We had Saturday brunch all the food was wonderful, I had the breakfast burrito and my wife had the bison burger. They make the mustard in house, so getting the soft baked pretzels is a must, fantastic. Many beers to try. They make soda in-house too, so kids have something to drink. Warped Wing is the best known brewery in Dayton. It has one of the largest beer lists. There's a good variety on tap. It has some hoppy IPAs. There's also smoother beers too. I had the Flyer Red. It's about $7 a pint. This had a pretty color and smooth taste. It has a pretty relaxed atmosphere. There's a big seating area if you would rather sit at a table. It's located in an old warehouse, so the area is really big. There's lots of natural light shining through the windows. It has the best beer among Dayton's breweries. It also has Spent Grain Grill if you need something to eat. They use the grains left over. read more
