Hole in the wall is dirty, grimy, dark and FUN! But like any place, you have to set real expectations before going in. This is a dingy dive. Don't come here if you don't like those places. We came, ordered some cheap beers and played a few games. They had classic arcade games like mario, streetfighter was broken (UGH!), pac man, taxi driver, and the simpsons. We laughed so hard at all of the 90's references here. There was a clear landline phone which if a kid saw today would probably be like WTF is that? They have a huge 90's cartoon mural with hey arnold, and rocko's modern life characters on it. Not to mention lava lamps everywhere. It was a kitschy, dirty dive and we had fun. A place you come after you've spent all your money on fancy craft cocktails and you want to let your hair down.

Super dissapointed. There are no piles of crumbs on the ground. I also left with my dignity. I WILL be back.

I went last Friday, had a great time, some of the machines have seen better days. But still has a great experience.

Good music. The bar tender was nice. I ordered a Bud on tap (nothing else looked good). It was DISGUSTING! I took a few sips and left.

It is very dimly lit with minimal natural light coming in. This adds to the ambiance and I love it, though it does make for a bit of a challenge in reading the extensive drink menu. Primarily a Whiskey bar, but they can also whip you up any fine cocktail. There are also wine and beer selections. The bar itself is huge and there are cozy tables as well. Expect a crowd, but you will find sufficient bar staff to provide timely service and answer any questions or help you make a selection. Parking is horrendous, and if someone in your party has mobility issues you will probably need to drop them off in front while you seek a place to put the car. But worth the trouble!

No food, just drinks, but you will drink high quality liquor. The prices are comparable with other bourbon bars. You have to go to the bar to get service and they seem to be crowded everytime I've been there so you may have a wait but the bartenders are friendly and make great drinks. I've had a whiskey sour (pictured), an old fashioned and have tried a few different shots. All delicious!

We met our kids in Dayton, which is about a halfway point for us each, for lunch this Saturday. We'd been wanting a good burger so I started looking for options and when I saw this place it was a no brainer. Slyders did not disappoint! The burgers are done on a flat top that's probably been in their kitchen since they opened in 1948. Talk about flavor!! The burger is good quality, tender, and full of great beef flavor, cranked out on that flat top to a crispy brown exterior. Great fresh tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles and cheese make this burger oh so good!! Add a basket of perfectly fried HUGE onion rings and a cold beer, there's nothing better!! Top top it off the service was incredible. We had 3 or 4 guys stopping by checking on drinks, napkins, ect... The energy in this bar was comfortable and you felt like you were a "regular" even if you'd never stepped in the door before in your life. With big bear hugs and handshakes we left full of great food and a warm soul. Slyders is going on my "ride for a burger" list this summer on the bikes. It'll be well worth 2hr ride to get there!! .

Jukebox music, normal conversation din, plus the happy drunk at the bar shouting his words. The food was above average. The "medium-well" burger contained quality meat but was dry. The pub fits right into the neighborhood's character -- lively, full of personality, and steeped in history. Inside, the atmosphere is pure rock 'n roll: casual, energetic, and welcoming. I tried their famed pickle soup, which was cream‑based and reminded me of broccoli and cream soup, with just a subtle pickle flavor that wasn't overpowering. It was okay, but the real standout was the IPA collaboration with Toxic Brewing, a neighboring brewery -- crisp, flavorful, and very good. Nicole had a burger and enjoyed it alongside two of those same Toxic Brewing IPAs (I don't recall the name, but they were excellent). Our host was friendly, service was quick, and judging by the tables around us, everyone else seemed to be enjoying their grub too. A colleague from work joined us and generously picked up the tab, which made the visit even more memorable.
