The onion rings were pretty good as well. The burger was a typical burger but he waited a little too long to eat and the cheese got hard. The bourbon chicken was good it was topped with shrimp and onions. I will say my impression was it was going to like a bourbon tasting chicken but it was just grilled chicken with shrimp and onions. I got the sweet Asian chill on my first order and garlic parmigiana on my second order. I liked both the sauces, garlic parmigiana is excellent with shaved parmigiana on the wings. So for the all you can eat value, I got twice the boneless wings, or BOGO, I really couldn't eat more than that. Great marketing, all you can eat sound like a better value then BOGO, but it turns out to really be the same thing for me. Service leaves some room for improvement. They are slow, no drink refill offered when the 2nd wing order was taken, no drink refill offered at all. My guess is typical story...can't get people to work or show up. I'm almost certain our server was also the person making the food. What I am saying is this lunch took an hour and a half at a table of four in a restaurant that was about 1/3 full. I normally don't go this low but this is the second time I've been back since they've reopened from covid and they lost it over their break... service was very slow, appetizers came out wrong, when telling server that they were wrong no acknowledgment was made he just turned around and walked off... they eventually came back and got it right the second time without an apology or explanation. When dinner arrived my mac & cheese came out without the cheese but a light oil over the noodles and the chicken on top. Again after asking the server no acknowledgment just a period of waiting for it to come back correct. Then the bill came and I noticed I was charged for the extra cheese I had to order for my mac & cheese. If I had wanted extra cheese I would've gladly paid the extra but since I simply wanted mac & cheese I felt it unfair. They had to take the ticket back and re adjust which they did but ended up taking just that much longer. read more

So I waited awake to write this, I was totally disappointed in this experience!!!! The service was ok. And then a confrontation happened with another patron that totally turned me off. The young man was visiting with a girl and one of the wait staffed posted a posted a photo of him and his companion and that's when things went side ways. Someone sent him the post of Photo and the waitress confronted him saying she posted it. At first I thought I missHeard her. And then he became upset and I new o heard right. We usually sit at the bar, but there were not any available seats tonight. Big mistake. The two of us were sat in a large booth and waited at least 10 minutes for a server to even acknowledge us. He finally came up to the table and says, " what can I get you to drink?" I'm sorry, but this isn't McDonalds, suggest something! Anyways, the service was sub-par, my steak was fatty and I couldn't eat 1/2 of it, which the server did notice more than once, but didn't say anything to us or management, even though management was only feet away worrying about their alcohol inventory. We have been a customer of Applebees for a long time. On 7/22/22, my family decided to go for dinner. It started where instead of 15 minutes waiting time, we waited for 45minutes regardless that most of the tables were open. Finally, we were seated at the table, and the food order was taken. Everyone relaxed till the mix-up in order occurred. The waitress was getting mad with my wife's corrections regarding food mix-ups. Finally, the food was served, and everyone started eating. My wife told me that the salmon she ordered was dry and salty. I called the waitress and informed her about it. She turned to my wife and stated: " do not like do not eat it." I lost my temper. The waitress started to say it was not what she meant. I demanded to see a manager of the place. The waitress told us he was swamped and could not see us. I go here regularly, but I am not a regular. The regular would be the guy you ALWAYS see in the baseball cap EVERYWHERE in town. He also makes appearances at Fricker's, the Moose, etc. Anyway, I'm writing this review, because although I have never really been a fan of Applebee's, I have gone more frequently lately and had a good time. I am disappointed that they no longer carry UFC fights. I'm tempted to only give three stars to the place because of that, but I'll be kind. The staff are great. I've always had good service here, and the people are friendly. You see the same waitstaff, which is a good thing, because you become comfortable with the people greeting you, seating you, and serving you. I'm always wary of a place with high employee turnover. The beer selections are a bit sad, but I did have the Blue Moon seasonal last night, which was better than expected. As for the food, I can't comment too much on it, but the bourbon chicken and shrimp is surprisingly good. It sizzles when it comes out, so don't burn yourself. I was a bit skeptical about it as a potential entree, but I was impressed. I've had some of the appetizers, which are reasonable. Overall, this is a good neighborhood place. You see the same people there, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your perspective. If you're into the "spot your local city official" or "spot your local former city official" game, this is the place to be. Ok, that's a really boring game. Go for the cool staff. read more

So, here's the quick and dirty...My boyfriend and I live 5 minutes from one of your locations, and decided to give it a go tonight (on Good Friday no less). Oh. My. Goodness. It was SO good! I am shocked on many levels - the atmosphere was fun, the service was great (so friendly!). The hostess actually greeted several people (regulars I assume) by their names. We both had the 3 cheese penne with chicken, with the boneless wings to start (half honey bbq/half buffalo) and then finished with the chocolate explosion cake. The wings were HANDS DOWN the best I've had in a long time. Better than our favorites from BW3's. The cake. Oh my Lord, the cake. Worth every penny! I am sad I've been missing out for so long and sorry for my pseudo grudge ha Now we have a new excitement for living 5 minutes away! We will DEFINITELY be back. In summary, I think this location must have really stepped it up in the last few months, because even with being busy tonight, the place was very clean, the hostess was spot on with timing (we waited ~10 minutes). Never have a complaint about food at this location. Has always come out exactly as ordered. Wife and I always sit at the bar, never made to feel bad if we don't order alcohol. Most previous visit my wife got an order of the chicken wonton tacos and a side Caesar salad and I got the new shrimp stir fry. Both were delicious, can never get enough of those wonton tacos. A middle age, short hair lady has been hosting at the front when we walk into the restaurant. She barely has said anything to us and we walk right by her to the bar. I have greeted her, and we are 50/50 on hellos back. Would highly recommend a host/hostess who makes their customers feel welcome, it helps a lot. Well we walk in and hostess tells us she is not sure where to seat us because the waitress has not taken orders from anyone in her section. She says she will get us drinks. NO drinks come then after 15 minutes a waitress shows up takes our order, NO drinks. I walk over and ask bartender and she says yes they have been over here sitting at the bar for 15 minutes. Most of the help not wearing masks over their noses. Right now 45 minutes in and waitress has never come back. People came in after us all eating! No manager in sight what a sh*t show this place is! This probably one of the worst Applebee's I have been to. The wait to sit was bad but I see why. After we was seated the drink order was fairly quick but receiving wasn't so quick. I ordered the all you can eat chicken,shrimp or riblets. It took forever to get our food and refills. Once the food arrived it was 3 small tenders (a little larger than a nugget and shrimp that was not very tasty but I did get a plate full of fries.. I then ordered a second plate and once again it took forever and was worse than the first plate but don't forget the large order a fries... Needless to say I'm not coming back read more
