This place was great! Top quality chicken (and beef) fresh cooked to order, and all frying done in beef tallow. They were formerly located in Middletown and moved here around April 2025 so older photos do not reflect the current restaurant. I have to get back here and take some interior pics. (Any excuse!) They have a nice comfortable bar with high top tables, set off from the dining room which has more of a diner/family restaurant look and feel. There are 3 TV screens above the bar though I would never describe this restaurant/bar as a "sports grill" and I think they added those words to the outdoor signs to attract people. Brilliant! Because once you're in here, you'll be back. We dined at the bar and were attended by Brendan (Brandon?) who is one of the owners, and a lady bartender was also on duty. It was a busy early Sunday afternoon and the service was great, polite and attentive and he was happy to answer questions and talk about the business. I was delighted to have a legit Sunday Brunch dish... Chicken and Waffles! One of two Sunday-only specials. Chicken breast was moist and delicious and the Waffles were great. The Angry Sauce was a perfect foil to the syrup. I really enjoyed this dish and will get it again with a Bloody Mary on another Sunday. My husband had the Black Garlic Bowl which was huge. Enough for two easily. He raved about it and took half home for dinner. He was even impressed with the beer pour! We were almost finished when I realized my C&W was supposed to also include bacon. I was not angry (see what I did there) but I did want to call it to Brandon's attention. He immediately gave a very generous discount for the inconvenience. This is such class. He also gave the cook (his partner) an earful! An old cat dwells nearby and roams the strip mall parking lot and all the businesses look out for him and put out food and water. This may be my newest favorite place! It's very clean with a friendly atmosphere. Well decorated with American pride. My server was on top of things and did a fabulous taking care of me. I had the Classic chicken with a side of fries. Both were hot and fresh. The angry sauce on the sandwich was delicious and I'll be sure to have it on everything. I just walked out of Angry Chicken House. We drove almost a half an hour to try it because we had seen a mullet review recommending it. We walked in and sat down at the bar. It was not overly full in there. The bartender never greeted us. She was clearly frazzled and exasperated and hurried past us several times without speaking to us. She left from behind the bar for several minutes and didn't acknowledge us. We waited about 10 minutes and then we left. It's a shame that we drove all the way and didn't get to eat. Extremely disappointed with this place. When they don't have prices on the menu for a drink that means they are ashamed for charging so much. As they should be. I Ordered southwest grilled chicken salad. It came with 3 of the smallest chicken tenders that were overcooked. I counted maybe 15 black beans with just as few pieces of corn. No flavor whatsoever and no green to be found. It was shedded lettuce with a glob of red onion sprinkled with a tiny bit of cheese. The staff stayed in the kitchen the whole time. Every once in a while they would check the door. I was courteous what was so special back there. And the cardboard napkins. ‍ Good grief. I've been rooting for them since they were in Middletown. The restaurants interior needed finished- nobody wants to see the kitchen and the backs of refrigerators. My BFF and I stopped in for lunch today. We decided to order a burger and chicken sandwich and split them, we got a fruit refresher and wedges, as well as an avalanche (similar to blizzard at DQ). The wedges were super good. Much better than fries not sure about their fries as I didn't try them, but most fries. The fruit refresher is a flavored water. We got the lemon version and it was very very good. The ranch hand chicken was amazing. I would drive out of my way to eat this it was so good. The angry craze burger was good. On par with any smash burger, but not even close to the chicken. The avalanche brownie was so good we talked about it all the way home. The soft serve ice cream was oh so creamy and just a little sweeter than most soft serve. To recap we both agree that the chicken sandwich, wedges and avalanche are so worth the trip. Of course if you splurge get the flavored water. Just an FYI if you order ranch as a side they do charge $1.07 for it because they make it fresh in house. For me it was worth it. Seriously it's been open for 8 months and today was the first time hearing and trying it out. Great customer service, small on the inside approximately 8 or 7 tables, brightly painted, and super clean. They do have a shared parking lot but seems to have plenty of space. Great prices and the smashburgers are outstanding. For around $30.00 we got Large waffle fry - this can easily be shared with 2 adults maybe 3 crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. Mushroom Swiss smashburger I loved this was not covered in gravy and you could taste the crispy patties and fresh mushrooms Angry craze smashburger was more of your traditional burger but with 2 crispy patties Ranch chicken sandwich 1 drink pepsi products 1 water. Our server gave us some suggestions on what burgers & chicken sandwiches she liked. She was very friendly & knowledgeable about the menu. She checked on us often which was nice. My son ordered the lumberjack chicken sandwich while I got the Korean chicken sandwich. Our sandwiches were served with ghost pepper cheese & were identical except for the sauce (Korean sauce on mine & BBQ sauce on his). The sandwiches come with Saratoga chips but I opted for onion rings which were an extra charge. Our food came out quickly. We both liked our sandwiches but the sauce dripping on your hands after every bite made it messy. I would order the sauce on the side next time. The ghost pepper cheese was a bit too spicy for me. Angry chicken was a very good experience. I got the jalapeno burger with a side of waffle fries and received some fried pickles for an appetizer. The pickles were pretty good. The dill ranch it came with wasn't my favorite ranch, but wasn't bad. The jalapeno burger was very spicy and came out very hot and fresh. It had great flavor and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes spice. The waffle fries were seasoned and I enjoyed them. I would come back to Angry Chicken House again. Ate here on Saturday after Mullet Review gave a shout out. Well worth the hour drive. I had the Southerner chicken sandwich & my husband had the Jalapeno Ghost pepper Smashburger. I ordered a side of waffle fries & he got the fries with Cajun seasoning. We did order the keg bites for an appetizer but they came out with the food, so didn't really get to enjoy them. Food was awesome & fresh! The younger guy running the register & food could use more training to be more assertive. It is a small space & being 1st timers, we were unsure of seating ourselves or waiting to be seated, and there was confusion over if we order at the table or place an order at the register. Ordered the double jalapeno smashburger with fries, and a 3 piece chicken strips with Diablo sauce (and a fountain drink) The smashburger wasn't what I would call strictly traditional, as the patties were larger and thicker than you would normally expect, but that's definitely not a bad thing. It still had plenty of nice seared flavor, and the toppings were good. My one issue with the burger is that it was a bit 'one note'. Some more brightness would be welcome to cut through all the fattiness from the burger, cheese, and sauce. It was still highly enjoyable alongside the other food I ordered though. The chicken was well seasoned, juicy, and the breading was crispy. There were zero stringy or tough textures. While the strips were small, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a 4th strip The Diablo sauce was fantastic, it had a nice acidic zing with smoky pepper flavors and a good amount of heat. For a long time pepperhead it isn't too spicy, but I imagine it would be quite extreme for the average palate Not much to say about the straight cut fries, they were fries. I didn't finish them as I definitely got too much food with how large the burger was. Service was good, the young man working the register was polite and attentive, and offered a sample of the sauce before adding it to the order (definitely a good idea) Overall, I will definitely be coming back and trying more of the chicken. The fish was really good in taste but could have been fried a bit longer, the wings were done very well good crunch on the breading and the sauce was delicious. The bowl was really good. i was expecting a mac and cheese bowl(should definitely make those here)was not that but i was not disappointed in the slightest. the bowl had chicken,Fries and jalapeños i really enjoyed it a lot i would order again.
